The adherents of the dharmic school of philosophies such as Shad-darshanas tend to emphasize the differences rather than comprehending the complementary nature of these darshanas. This resulted in attempts to reach a compromise and such attempts have led to artificial compromise where real issues are left to the sidelines. This is due to the overemphasis on external and esoteric aspects while leaving aside the practical issues.
Krishna shows us the way through the integration of Jnana and Bhakti, Karma and Sannyasa. The approach does not focus on optimization, which necessarily leads to a compromise, but rather on the integration of four Purusharthas. The method eliminates the artificial barrier and concerns of terrestrial existence (hunger, ignorance, disease) as it shows the way to uplift oneself to higher consciousness. Few specific illustrations (historical + contemporary) are discussed to bring home these learnings.
    About The Speaker:-
Nilesh Nilkanth Oak, is the author of "When did the Mahabharata War Happen?", "The Mystery of Arundhati", where he freshly evaluated astronomy observations of Mahabharata text. His work led to the validation of 5561 BCE as the year of Mahabharata War while falsifying more than 120 alternate claims. The book was nominated for the Lakatos award; the award is given annually by London School of Economics for a contribution to the philosophy of science. In this second book- "The Historic Rama", he decisively falsifies timelines proposed by Dr. P V Vartak (7300 BCE), Shri Pushkar Bhatnagar (5200 BCE), SRS ( 10000 BCE) and M R Yardi ( 1500 BCE) Nilesh researches in astronomy, archeology, anthropology, quantum mechanics, economics, ancient narratives and philosophy.

I am a History teacher, tired of teaching manipulated History to my young students specifically Grade VII.. tell me how can we pass on Indian knowledge through schools. It’s high time that we teach the Indian British minds to be proud to be an Indian by knowing the origins.

we should have one year off from mainstream education during which every young person should be offered some non-traditional training like music dance acting writing or even our traditional texts like bhagvatgita etc ... basically anything ... or schools should be allowed to offer summer vacation courses where they can teach anything

Siva Nava; It is claimed to be the printed version without any manuscript of the verbal discourse between Krishna and Arjun as no manuscript known to exists. Importantly, The earliest printing could be after many generations over few centuries in the 15th-century when the printing press was invented.I seriously doubt its accuracy and reliability. At best it could be considered prevailing words of wisdom at that period.

I guess personal journal and incorporating some heuretics into quantitative study of environmental design is vital, considering the limitations in the English language and research by western minds rooted in limited understanding of Purusha-Prakriti. Krishna of the Yadava tribe, 9500 bc, was the first philosopher, scientist, theologian and a keen observant of divine design and natural laws and discovered divine formula of benevolence coexisting with malevolence as the key to evolution. He preached the Sanatan religion when the Yadava were unruly and brought harmony in the society, so that the Yadava prospered and multiplied (to 38 million) and spread all over India, explaining linguistic and religious uniformity. Today 70-80 % Indians (south Asians, including Bangladeshi, Pakistani etc.) are Yadava. Sanatan religion centers around the first and by far the oldest monotheistic God Vishnu, who is the cause of the evolution of the world and is the conjoined essence and object of meditative wisdom and active virtue (karma). [Vishnu Purana, translated by H.H.Wilson, London 1840].

To further bolster my argument on three states of consciousness as advocated by lord krishna he goes on to elaborate on bhakthi yoga satvuc conscious Ness gnana yoga a balance between satvuc and rajasuc then karma or raja yoga a combination of the three mainly rajasuc and little satvuc and peppers with tamasic and last tamasic practises including bhakthi cruelty etc with no logic but rakshasiya only with self interest and advancement thus I am sure my previous argument is proved to the hilt sir

Isn't it that the digestive tract, heart, and brain evolved sequentially as parallel neuronal networks of increasing complexity and function? The path from abyss slime to human was long and we are full of the detritus of the journey. All kinds of fragmentary information that responds to environmental stimulus completely outside our conscious control. We are full of strange and amazing machines, and I think the Vedas may be the only spiritual teachings on how to ensure that they function in harmony at personal and societal scales. Unfortunately I am an ignorant American that came in the side door via Jung, but the more I learn, the more I want to learn more.
