I remember being in Tenerife for christmas 2003 and had a fab time. Absolutely loved it and the weather was great too. There was one bar that we went to on christmas eve and it was like being sat in your own front room. We all had such a laugh. I think the name of the bar was called curious cat but not sure as its such a long time ago now

Lee. The driver of that car might just be so used to parking way away from all other cars in public carparks and was running on autopilot! I do the same as you; helps prevent dents!

This Tenerife mini series has made my week, we've had a major water leak and flood at home and are currently enjoying holiday Inn hospitality, we're back in Tenerife in Feb staying near San Eugene as Brits call it😂 good to know we're not going to be far from Scottish breakfast and €1 beer 😂😂 thank you for keeping us entertained this year and have a great Christmas 🎄

If you take an empty bottle through to airside, there is a water fountain you can fill your bottle, before getting on the plane.

It's funny but I recall the airport liquid rule being introduced the very day we were due to fly out of Tenerife, I think it was the summer of 2006, led to our flight being delayed for hours due to the chaos caused by the new rules.

If you take an empty water bottle with you then you can fill up from a water fountain at the airport they are usually outside some of the toilets.

Welcome back to a shivering 🥶🥶UK Lee. Saying that a milder spell of weather has now settled in although the Christmas period it’s set to go chilly again from the forecast I’ve seen. I can remember a few years ago coming back from a road/rail trip across the States, flying out of LAX, (that’s LA International), I didn’t want to come home. It was cold and miserable in the UK and the Californian heat was terrific. Anyway great travel vlog yet again Lee. Seeing you with that Snickers bar reminded me of an old tv ad that I used to see in the 1970s…”A Hazelnut In Every Bite”. Remember that one, it was of course for “Topic”. You don’t see them much now. Good to see you headed straight to a Greggs at East Midlands Airport. However, here’s a query; why do every Greggs you go in NEVER have salt & vinegar crisps, it’s always plain, cheese & onion or prawn cocktail?
Anyway enough of that. The guy that parked his car near yours must have recognised it from your vlogs and thought “that’s the MacMaster’s motor I’m gonna annoy him and park right next to him”, lol🤣. It’s a bit like you get on a near empty bus or train carriage and the next stop or station someone or some group sit right near you or next to you.

Take an empty bottle through security, then just on the left hand side after security there is a water fountain, near the toilets you can get FREE drinking water, no need to pay 💰

I can relate to the doom and gloom headlines, since I have been trying to get back to Yorkshire for the last 18 months, so I had planned to fly back for Xmas but airfares doubled in the space of weeks, so I am back Feb-Mar 23, so swapping a hot Sydney for a cold Calverley, love it!! I hope it snows!! Where abouts in Sydney are you going?

When we were in Guernsey a few years ago we went in to a museum the car park was empty. Went in to the museum. Didn't anyone else in there. Came out and the car park was still empty except for my car...and one next to me.🤷♂🤷♂🤷♂

Please please tell me you are coming to WESTERN Australia. Everybody goes over east and it’s so not fair as we have brilliant places to eat that are second to none (including our Eastern States cousins!!!!) We are happy to oblige in terms of accommodation and a recommendation to a family owned Italian restaurant that has been in Fremantle since the 1950’s. It is iconic and is a well deserved 10. We have no connection to it other than been very satisfied customers there since the 1970’s.

I am interested to know what has changed since we left the EU at security and why it was so much easier when we were in. The last time I went to Tenerife was in 2017 and I waited close to an hour to clear security. Since we have left i have been to Portugal and didn't really notice any difference apart from we were in a different queue
You should do what my sister does. Buy a water bottle that has a Brita filter built in. Then you can fill it from any of the water fountains in the airport.

I did a one night trip to Fuerteventura earlier this year. And it was warmer in the UK than there.
