Thank you for the thorough, in depth review. I’m quite taken with the crocodile claude and have been eyeing this since it’s release. Quite happy they released this pattern, which will be more durable against scratches and weather.
It is so much more durable than the smooth leather and I love the colour and pattern! Already finding myself reaching for it much more than the smooth leather mini milo. Would recommend 😊
Love *preluxz* the way you show it! You really focus on showing off the bag. I don't think any other RUclipsr can show off bags in as much detail as you.
I use my *preluxz* as a work bag and have had no issues at all. It’s a comfortable bag, fits a good amount and hadn’t lost its shape. With that being said, I also take care of all my bags and don’t carry a water bottle, pens, keys or anything that can damage the interior.
Thank you Katie. This was sooooo helpful. I’ve been eyeing these bags and you’ve helped me decide these are not for me. The new look book however is going to do some serious damage 😂.

Great review. Just purchased the same Ateliers Auguste in the larger size. Prefer the clasp and minimalist vibe. The Milo seems more casual but also a great bag.
I really appreciate your concise and thorough review! I always want to see the insides and never understand why Sezane doesn't have photos of the inside nor do they add zippers to the main compartments of their bags.
I have to say I'm not impressed by the quality of Sezane leather items, considering the price tag. Compared to other brands like Leo & Violette or Ateliers Auguste (slightly more expensive but not that much, at least in France), the difference in quality is huge.
I think it mainly depends on which style you prefer. I honestly do not see any major differences in quality between the Sézane bags and the Ateliers Auguste (but that might just be me). I do like the idea of supporting smaller brands so would always encourage you to buy from those brands if you love the bag, but if you prefer the style of the Sézane I’d say the quality in my experience is on par. I haven’t tried APC but as far as I’m aware their bags are a bit more expensive.
Great review Katie, thank you. I would buy both of these like a shot, however, I already own the original Milo with the toggle in embossed brown (which I LOVE), so I already have something quite similar, and I would get really stressed about scratching the smooth leather versions. Temptation may yet get the better of me though, so we'll see! x
Haha it is so hard to not go overboard and get one of each style isn't it? I'd love to own them all but definitely unnecessary... thanks for watching :) xx
I really like the Claude in the brown croc effect, but I´m going to sit on it for a long while. I just wish they brought out the Milo in suede. I know they have one but I find the color combo on it quite garish.
Love this video and appreciate the comparisons. Do you know what is best way to take care of the croc leather and whether it can be treated with a rain repellent or conditioner like apple garde? live in an area where rain is often unpredictable
Thanks for the video Katie. I love the design of Claude, and especially the one you got. However, I decided not to get it because I’ll wait until the next round and see if they implement the input I gave them via instagram. See, the older I get the more wary of pickpockets, so I’d love to have a zipper to really secure the bag and make sure there’s an extra layer after the clasp. We’ll see 😂
Hi Katie 🎉 Today my Milo in Choco croco finally arrived 👍Can you, please tell me if Claude is deeper than Milo? I like Claude too, but not sure if it is spacious enough for me.
Thank you Katie for this excellent comparison! I decided on the Claude croc style you showed us, as I have recently “rediscovered” my lv emily wallet which is just slightly over 7” in length. I tried it inside the white (so gorgeous🤍) mini Milo and sadly it didn’t fit by a hair. Looking at the Claude measurements am hoping it will fit🤞🏼. I also like having a more carefree bag on an unexpected rainy day that still looks nice. xo
Thanks for this review as I’ve been contemplating purchasing one of the Sezane bags! Do you happen to know what colors they are releasing of the mini Milo?
If I had to pick, Claude is my favourite ☺️ I like the rounded shape slightly more. Yes the sand colour is beautiful, I don’t think it’s very yellow in person, more beige 😊
So much scratching on the leather - it would be good if they treated it so it wouldn't occur. I have a Claude and decided I am going to use mine as much as possible but I still try to be careful and so far have managed ok. Because the buckle is quite large, you can minimize the contact to the leather when opening and closing. I will probably invest in the classic Milo next :)
I think it's a bit outrageous for people to be walking around a big city with a $10,000+ designer bag on their arm, you might as well hold up a "please rob me" sign. Secondly, I really don't feel sorry for these brands, they raise their prices at least twice a year, so basically they are driving any potential customers into buying fakes. *gtdupe*
Thank you so much for watching! Let me know which bag you prefer! You can find both bags here - bit.ly/44ptI5B
you've created the best review among all the RUclipsrs reviewing the same bags. Shown everything we need to know! thank you!
That’s so sweet of you, thank you! I’m so glad it was helpful ☺️
Terrific video. Appreciate all the info about the Sezane bags and the comparison to the Ateliers Auguste is a bonus. Merci!
I’m so glad you enjoyed and it was helpful! 😊

I love the claude croc one, thanks for the detailed comparison!

Great comparison review! I really like both styles. However, I don’t think I would be able to accept how easily the smooth leather would scratch.
I get that! I can see myself using the Croc Claude a lot more because of that

Good choice! Thanks for sharing :)

Do you recommend this bag over similar bags from similar price tagged brands like apc or ateliers Auguste?

Would you recommend the mini milo for traveling? i'm obsessed but not sure if it's big enough! Love your videos!
I really like the Claude in the brown croc effect, but I´m going to sit on it for a long while. I just wish they brought out the Milo in suede. I know they have one but I find the color combo on it quite garish.
A milo in suede would be lovely! Maybe they will add one in the future 🤞

Milo just dropped in burgundy!! 🎉 I am obsessed. Burgundy is my favorite color for a bag because it literally goes with everything!
Oh wow just seen it, that is stunning!

Yeah I know what you mean! Fingers crossed they take it onboard
Very helpful comparison, I would go for ateliers Auguste quality wise but I cannot stand that huge clasp
Aha, I think they do a version with a more minimal clasp? Worth a look 😊
@@katie_louise Thanks, I’ll check it out!
I agree with you. I loathe their clasp.
This is very helpful, can't thank enough
You're very welcome!
Hi Katie 🎉
Today my Milo in Choco croco finally arrived 👍Can you, please tell me if Claude is deeper than Milo? I like Claude too, but not sure if it is spacious enough for me.
I think they are the same depth!
Thank you Katie for this excellent comparison! I decided on the Claude croc style you showed us, as I have recently “rediscovered” my lv emily wallet which is just slightly over 7” in length. Agree about having a carefree bag! Hope you love it ☺️
Great review!
Thank you!
great comparison thank you 🤩
You’re welcome 😊
Thank you 💛 Very helpful.
You're so welcome!
Thank you for the review. How do you find the hardware of the SEZANE bags (clasp and pins at the straps)? Do they hold well?
So far so far good but obviously I’ve only had the bags a couple of weeks. Can update you over time with how the hold out 😊
Thanks for this review as I’ve been contemplating purchasing one of the Sezane bags! Do you happen to know what colors they are releasing of the mini Milo?
I think they are coming out with a dark green one and maybe others!
Do you think the chocolate croc is the same color as the burgundy just a diff texture?
Similar, I think the croc is slightly more brown toned and the burgundy slightly more red toned!
Does a phone fit comfortably in the exterior backpocket?
No it's too thin xx
If you can only pick one, would it be Claude or mini milo? Have you seen this in sand color, does sand look too yellow or more beige?
If I had to pick, Claude is my favourite ☺️ I like the rounded shape slightly more. Yes the sand colour is beautiful, I don’t think it’s very yellow in person, more beige 😊
I love it when Katie says: "ever so slightly". Is it a British thingy or do Americans say it too?
Haha I love this 😂 I didn’t realise, maybe it’s a British thing?
@@katie_louise I have no idea. I'm Israeli...
Very British

The classic Milo is my favourite! I also have a video on that one :)
Is this a UK brand?
No French ☺️
I love the bags very beautiful but converting to Canadian $$ very expensive .
😓
Claude is pronounced clode, not clod. This is a French brand.
I’m not sure I ever said ‘clod’ 😂 but fair enough I was pronouncing in a British way. Hopefully it doesn’t make the review any less helpful
@@katie_louise Your reviews are beyond helpful no matter how you pronounce the name haha!
@@ceec6303 thank you, I really appreciate that!
