Why are we the only fanbase that goes on as though offside goals against us are some let off. The lad was 3 yards offside and we were holding a solid line - that’s defending not luck.
I don’t think we do at all. It rarely gets mentioned or even makes the highlight reels. It’s one thing we’re great at is catching the opposition offside. We should go on about it more!

Their two offside “goals” were so far offside it’s really a bit mad to complain we were too open to allow them. The second one especially; that fella was really enjoying looking along the line there. Not even Darwin would have done that..
Our offside trap is (usually) brilliantly drilled and executed. So many fans still don’t appreciate or understand that it’s deliberate and calculated risk. We’re not “lucky” when we win close offside calls.

He had to take it...could've hit the post & rebounded into our old reserve keeper's arms! Mo had CR7 levels of pissedoffness there but hid it well. Was.not.happy when he came off without scoring....which makes Mo the player he is, ofc!
We were definitely the better team and deserved to score more goals ....but also seemed to take our foot of the gas towards the end of the game and that caused us a few tense moments! 😊
I don't see why isn't Kelleher looked at our post Adrian keeper. He's proven he's good enough to me. Personally If Allison expects to play 3 or 4 more years. I'd have been loaning Kelleher out if he's demanding time. But that's me..
🙄 What is that guy talking about? Being too open was intentional. We were outnumbered in the midfield. It was nothing like a Klopp team. A Klopp team puts pressure on the ball and tries to block passing lanes. They got into the midfield too easily, without any pressure, which is worrying. We can't play that way against elite teams.
A lot of sensible comments, except the offsides (that's good defending), and greta to hear Slot praised for not making too many changes while bringing his own philosophy. True about us needing to be more clinical- been that way for 2/3 seasons now.
In the end, the actual fact is that the offside goals don't even count as chances in the end match stats. So imo, in this VAR era where they let these decisions go until the ball hits the back of the net, it's best to totally dismiss them as they happen. Yea they can give the crowd a little momentum in the stadium, but other than that, they mean nothing.

The wingers and AM have more of an issue almost not passing to him when he made runs to dangerous areas. Its like only one minor chance pass a game. tats woeful!

If your looking to upgrade this team it looks like macca takes szobos place for me and another player plays with Gravenberch deeper. Macca has that quality on the ball szobo isn't showing and can still press. I would be looking for a box to box with great aerial presence to compliment grav
The referee was mad, treated it like he was reffing United v Liverpool not Leipzig v Liverpool. Gave three yellows when he probably should've given none like he was trying to take some imaginary sting out of the game. Might've been Trent's worst 25 minutes on the ball I've seen at the start, couldn't pass it 5 yards let alone 35.
goal hungry irritated Salah in a buoyant TOTFL LFC side next playing an Arsenal side without Saliba Odegaard Saka , when they will be pushing to make up points on us , but seem off form and undisciplined , what could go wrong ?
