Trent has been weak in defence for years. Every opposition manager targets him, He is only now looking a more robust defender under Slot's coaching. Just gonna take a sip of the 'koolaid'...
We are gud defensively because slot has a gud structure to our team and konate bail out n covers trent most time, trent is gud footballer n a great passer but lets nt get carried away he can still improve defensively
Think this is one of our best games under Slot. Lots of free flowing moves, but for a ref denying a blatant penalty and some great saves from Gulacsi would’ve been 3/4 and extremely comfortable. Going into the last 10 at 1-0 it was always going to be a bit hairy. but even then we got Gravenberch on the ball a bit more and controlled it to the point of no danger at all in stoppage time. Great stuff
It's weird that so many people are convinced Liverpool haven't been good yet, yet they've won 11 of 12 games so far. Red Bull Leipzig are joint top in the fourth highest rated league in the World. Milan and Bologna have lost 3 games between them in the second highest rated league. Liverpool are top of the highest rated league. This is elite level stuff, and it's weird that people are still thinking Liverpool are having it too easy!
I'm loving the new calm and steady style. We just look so confident and assured especially at the back but I've noticed even Nunez looks less erratic, he still chases back like a mad man but he looks like he's thinking now he was boss last night. Goals aren't everything when he plays like that
I think kelleher is a top 3 PL keeper and top 10 in the world right now. I do t want to see him leave. Time to promise him more games. All cups plus early rounds of champions league plus a min of 10 PL games. Hopefully he'd stay for that. I think he also needs some love from the fans
Lets still at least give Arsenal some respect. They're title challengers for a reason and they'll be the best offensive team we've played so far so let's see if our mid-block can handle the Arsenal waves of pressure.
Liverpool are currently one of the top 5 teams in Europe. But to beat Man City to the league title, or to beat Real Madrid in the CL, you need to be exceptional. I think we need more elite quality than Szobo in midfield and a clinical striker.
Hopefully a couple of goals will transform Szobo as he's not far off. A striker would have to be on a one out one in basis. Left back is a concern for me if Robbo injured and he's starting to get more. I totally take your point but City and Real have first pick of players and Real often get them on a "free". We beat them at their place.They are unbeaten in the Bundesliga this season. We have every indication that Slot's Liverpool are the real deal. 12 played. 11 wins, 8 clean sheets.

Definitely happy with the result and our overall results as a whole but it has to be said that Leipzig were shite for 70+ minutes.
