  • What does it mean for women to claim their priesthood privileges, as Joseph Smith and Russell M. Nelson both have encouraged us to do? It starts by understanding what the priesthood for women looks like and how it beautifully complements the male priesthood. We're just scratching the surface here as we pull examples from the Bible and the Book of Mormon of what the priestesshood looks like and how you can begin your personal journey toward seeking to know the divine feminine in God and in you!
    In this video we'll talk about:
    ~Abish and the Queen like you've never seen before
    ~The wife of Jesus
    ~The false goddess
    ~Why the Song of Solomon is awesome
    ~And much more!

    This was an incredible eye opener... I am a 61 year old recent convert. I am a writer and I have studied astrology, the chakras and numerology. What I know for sure is that Our Heavenly Father created everything. He equipped us with everything we will ever need to navigate this world, our inner tree of wisdom within our bodies and the consciousness to love one another in spite of our difference. We are not here to be like anyone else, we have our own gifts and talents that will present themselves to us when we are open to hear Him in prayer and meditation... Thank you soooo much for connecting the dots for the many questions that I have had in the 2 1/2 years since I was baptized💖

    Something I find interesting is the Word of Wisdom. Wisdom is capatalized, as if it’s talking about someone; which I’ve come to believe is the Divine Feminine. Who else would care about the nurture and nourishing of your body(your temple) more than a mother. Giving us health in our navel…the same place our umbilical cord was connected to our food source from our earthly mother. With the promise that we could run and not be weary and walk and not faint which seems to me is speaking of translation.

      @CN-pe4gz I believe this is true. It also speaks to balance in all things and caring for nature. I believe this relates to the message I shared in my pride, polygamy and parables lecture on Jacob 5

    Closing remarks: 🎙️ drop. 💗
    "As we wake up intentionally, we will realize that the Divine Feminine, this Higher Priesthood, beautifully compliments the masculine. They compliment each other. If men step into their masculine role and the women step in their feminine role and we come together in unity and harmony, we will be elevated to a more celestial state.
    But really the women have to awake and arise first and elevate first. And then they will elevate their husbands, their children, their friends, their family, and eventually the entire world.
    We literally have the power to change the world if we understand our priesthood and our divinity as women and as daughters of God."

    Thank you for puting this together. Gave me a lot to ponder on. I was JUST talking to a friend of mine, 2 days ago, about the "Divine Feminine" (used those exact words) and how we have no need to demonstrate the priesthood the way our bretheren do. That we are powerful already. I literally said that to this younger sister in the church. She had a hard time understanding what I meant by that. So this video felt like a confirmation to that conversation I had with her earlier in the week. Thank you! ❤‍🔥

    Amazing! My daughter’s recent patriarchal blessing said that Heavenly Father and Heavenly mother want her to have this blessing. (My sons who received theirs a month before did not mention her) And she is all throughout my daughters blessing and told she is like her. For my children we have give them all family names for their middle names, but for her we were strangely prompted to give her the middle name “Aspen.” After her blessing the spirit confirmed powerfully her closeness to Heavenly Mother was the significance of us being impressed to name her after beautiful trees.❤️

    Jocelyn this is absolutely gorgeous; it is True. There is so much here that you could write a book (I very much hope you will!). I loved your parallels with today (and, “if you’re squeamish at all about the female body, I’m sorry you’re going to have to get past that!” 😂), the divine geometry, women as the tower (I’m working on that right now so this is a gift in that regard!). Thank you so much for being willing to share your just, incredible understanding of the Divine Feminine, and for doing so without hesitancy or apology because it is more than our beloved brothers have said. It is not men’s stewardship to reveal the divine nature and destiny of women but maybe some of our traditions have confused us on that point. My mother responsibilities of late have left me with no opportunity to connect as I desire, but I want you to know that I have SO much gratitude for you.

    I am so grateful for this powerful message! 💕 So many amazing truths that I haven’t noticed before. I have been feeling the same way…that knowing our role as women, knowing the reality of the Divine Feminine is essential to building Zion. Walking that journey with the Spirit as a guide, centered upon Jesus Christ is exciting, scary and lonely at times. I was praying to know about Heavenly Mother and my role as a woman , I opened my Book of Mormon with a random flipping of pages and it was this story of King Lamoni. I felt such a powerful manifestation of the Spirit when I read again that King Lamoni’s first words after his, essentially a near death experience, were blessed be the name of God and blessed art thou (to his wife) because Christ would be born of a woman.
    I have been reading the Nemenhah records (considered Book of Mormon apocrypha) and there are many passages that are another witness to women being ordained to their priesthood prior to birth. In the Nemenhah, it is Mother in Heaven who ordains Her daughters ❤. I found it so beautiful!

    Hi there, I have something I've wondered about. I wonder if Lot's wife has also been cast in a negative light. When you talk about towers, trees etc. She turned to a PILLAR of SALT. Could it mean something else? Maybe it's not what we think? Maybe we ignorantly condemn her for looking back? Idk, but it's something I kind of wonder about.

    • @teachingsofjesuschrist
      @teachingsofjesuschrist  16 дней назад +4

      @Centered1 yes! Even the concept of salt is not understood, I think. In Hebrew, the word for salt is melach or malach
      and one word for Angel is Malak. So Jesus, who likely spoke Aramaic (very similar to Biblical Hebrew), was making a play on words when he said we were supposed to be the salt of the earth. Jewish newborn babies are salted (Ezekiel16). Interestingly, when Jesus mentions Lot's wife in Luke 17, he speaks about being preserved by losing one's life, and the word for preserve there also can mean "bring to birth." Perhaps Lot's wife desired to, like the 3 Nephites, remain behind and help and was similarly transfigured? After all, the word for looking back means to tarry, and what did Jesus, John, and the three Nephites do? Just a thought

    And in that day seven women will take hold of one man saying we will eat our own bread and wear our own apparel. Only let us be called by thy name to take away our reproach. The number7 is sometimes considered as perfection or sometimes interpeted as many. So these women were willing to forgo their rigbt under the law of support of their husband if he was willing to take them as his wives and remove their reproach. This also goes back to the number. One or two he could support but more would become difficult. It also refers to the lack of men bue to war and battle. Another verse says i will make a man more precious than the golden wedge of offir. I think these scriptures are more literal than figurative. But what if the war is the war between good and evil, then the lack of men is the lack of men who are good and worthy of exaltation, then what?

    • @teachingsofjesuschrist
      @teachingsofjesuschrist  25 дней назад +1

      Ch 4 speaks of that part of the day of Jehovah where there is a reversal of circumstances and the plant of Jehovah is abundant. This is not a time of scarcity. On a literal level, these women have plenty. They are not desperate for a man to take care of their physical needs. Remember, this is the millennial day. There is a reversal during this time. The telestial world where physical strength is an advantage will shift to a world where spiritual strength is the greatest advantage. And who has the advantage in that kind of world? Women or men? So if 7 women empower a man or strenghten each man (as that scripture can be interpreted in the original Hebrew) and that man acquires a name as a result that they desire, what name is that? What is the name of God in Moses 6? Jehovah? Also remember that some of these phrases aren't necessarily solely masculine. A man being scarcer than gold can be interpreted as MANKIND being rarer than gold. It would be helpful to pray for help in shedding any cultural biases, beliefs, and indoctrination that may be clouding our vision and ask to see what is truly going on here. Shalom.

    • @avoice423
      @avoice423 25 дней назад

      I agree that if this takes place in the millennial day then there wou.d not be scarcety of resources. But at the end of chapter 4 it talks of a cloud and smoke by day and shining fire by night "for upon all the glory shall be a defence" a defence against what? Perhaps it is just before the millennial day. Or maybe the things in verse 6. Who will have the spiritual advantage? I think maybe neither, however the wicked will all be destroyed. But in this telestial world i think women have the number advantage in the goodness level. If that be correct then there will be more women than men in the opening period of the millennial day. Those who are converted will want to remove their reproach of being single and or childless. As it also states in the foot notes. Also what of the prophecy by ,i think, pres. Hinkley that in the last days the women will join the church in large numbers? The name by which they are called is their husbands name, as in being married to him. The name he aquires is husband and father. What is the filth of the daughters of ZIon? I think it is materialism. When did you ever think that nose jewls would ever be in style and so prevalent? I think we are living in the age that Isaiah was describing in chapter 3. If you read the journal of discourses of Orson Hyde, he was of the opinion that Jesus was married to several women. I agree with that but limited to Mary Magdalene, Martha, and Mary her sister, who were the sisters of Lazarus. This may be controversial, but i belive the evidence is tnere in the new testament.

      @@teachingsofjesuschrist I'm not sure that you do. Your response is similar to 132 problems, when i tried to reason with her of her denial of church history and demonization of Brigham Young and other prophets. I fear she is headed down the road to apostacy along with those who follow her way of thinking. I feel it is going to cause a division in the church. I hope you are not going down that same road. Because Joseph taught Brigham and Brigham was a very loyal follower of Joseph. Both of them called as prophets, just as all those called in succession down to Pres. Nelson. Section 132 was reavealed to the prophet Joseph, i just wish we had the greater light that wes promised at the end. Perhaps we do, it is just not in the D&C.
