Aduvum Solluval - Padam- Bharatanatyam

This padam talks about two women who comepete to find greater importance in lord Murugas life.
The second nayika goes around the town showing off her newly bought house, jewelry and saress all bought to her by muruga.
It appears that the rival nayika has got companionship and an upperhand in the life of muruga. The main nayika reveals that rival used to come to her house and borrow jewellery and clothes, but now she's swimming in her own fortune, showing off her two Storey house,fine furniture and her beautiful silk sarees. Previously her rival was all poor and alone but now she has lots of maid around her.
The main nayika is upset with the attention drawn away from her.
This padam describes the jealous state of mind of the leading nayika.
