THE BARI SAX/BASSOON SOLOS WERE SOOOOO GOOD!!! I’m a senior (tenor sax) from a random school in Ohio and we didn’t go to BOA this year so I went and watched the finals for fun. That was my FAVORITE bit from the entire night. It simply isn’t fair that y’all got 12th. NOT. FAIR. You guys better be so proud of yourself. It was gorgeous. And the FLUTE SOLOIST!!! Omg she like sauntered up there, played that bit like it was NOTHING and then blew a kiss like “yeah I’m amazing, what about it?” (I’m also a flute player so ofc I admire that lol). Amazing. The bassoon though Jesus Christ. He essentially beatboxed with those fast articulations
@@sethron4000 That's epic :) My school's front ensemble this year was 4 people. And we had 3 flutes. And one guard member (but no guard instructor so she didn't actually learn flag... she was essentially just an actress for our show). We tiny. And we literally always get last. The only time we haven't in my 5 years of marching was this year and it was because the other band didn't show up. But it's fun. This is a video from our show this year if you're curious, the show starts at 3:45 in the video and there are some pep tunes before and after (I really like the one we do right after the show - I go a lil crazy pretending to dig trenches with my sax). @@sleebers98 Frrr also my mom said y'all were very together with the flags so you got plus one on the mom score XD. My school? has one guard member. And she doesn't know flag because she's new and we don't have an instructor

yes sort of dissapointed we got 12th but we are proud we made finals.
