You tumble rock like I do. I tumble heals, scraps, rough anything thats hanging around. Awesome video, thanks for sharing.. Some beautiful material there..
The knowledge you share here while tumbling then exuberantly examining your stash makes this info so absorbable . Better than any classroom AND Sooo Pretty. Thank you. GBY
That’s going to be on my wish list…a vibratory rock tumbler!(or maybe a used tile saw). I laughed out loud 🤣 with your “my precious” line. I spend many mornings just looking 👀 again and again at the rocks I have collected, while my dog tears around the yard.
I love the natural shapes and flaws! The hand of nature is beautiful to behold. If I ever get a tumbler it'll be a vibratory tumbler. Thank you for sharing this!
@@KatyDidRocks I have this aesthetic preference for irregiularly shaped stuff partially shiny and partially rough... I was hoping I could skip the rotary step and maybe do some hand polishing of the rough spots after the lotto.
Yup!! I can look at polished rocks all day too I just finished a batch today All local stuff, like my driveway etc I’m always surprised! Still learning what things will or won’t polish! Your batch of rocks is so beautiful Thanks for bringing us along! Keeping on DOING!!
I’ve tumbled rocks from Lake Superior, MI, Arkansas, Wisconsin, Wyoming and now from Montana’s Yellowstone River. I found Michigan rocks from Lake Superior are the easiest to tumble since Mother Nature has done most of the work and the rocks from Yellowstone River are the hardest due to all the cracks and indentations. I still love tumbling and have so many beautiful rocks placed throughout my home.
Thanks to Currently Rockhounding, i purchased a fabric spray cleaner that works great for shooting the muck out of the cracks. I actually like the not-totally-smooth texture of the rocks, as long as i can get them shiny. :)
Thanks I like watching tumbling of rocks just bought an entry level tumbler today! Will be first time , thanks again I enjoy Scott WilkinsI love the imperfections… gives them more character I think artist would appreciate that. Thanks for all that identifications
I have a large glass bowl I keep all my polished rocks in, it makes a great centre piece and my granddaughter always gets them out and looks at them. A lovely array of specimens you have there... I totally agree you could look at them all day 😊😊😊😊
How beautiful they are❤.i really liked the last blood stone(u think it was)stunning colours! I really like these videos where one can c different stones(coz here isnt any of those beauties.just granith.i have found some big pieces of rose quarts thouhg)
Well that was fun to watch. Really like the sodalite. The red jasper w/lots of stripes & small petrified wood came out very nice. That Montana agate will look gorgeous as a pendant! Is the term seam agate interchangeable w/ water line? Thx for sharing this with us. Hello to Jim & Kava. God bless.
Very beautiful pieces. I'm more of a perfectionist when it comes to tumbling. I really don't care for the cracks and holes. But that's just me. They are still all very pretty. Thanks for sharing
Hi Kate! I was actually browsing Etsy when I saw your new video. I am looking for interesting stones for pendants. Jasper never disappoints with so many varieties. Ever consider selling some of the little guys for pendants that? I'm in Ohio, so besides tumbling up some flint and one chalcedony piece, it's not super interesting. What a great collection of beauties you have today! My favorite color is brown btw. So many shades. I love the petrified wood you find also!
Beautiful stuff Katy! I have an old tumbler but somewhere along the line with moves and all, I lost the barrels, which of course are obsolete now. That Montana agate at the 8:14 mark is gorgeous, probably my favorite!

That's quite the smorgasbord of rocks! Many beauties!
I agree!

Nice! Tumbling is great, and the vibratory tumbler is awesome for getting it done quickly.
"My precious!!!!!" I could sit and look at polished stones for hours. Thanks for sharing the fun.
:) It was fun!
Oh I have buckets of rocks everywhere too.
A 20 pound barrel is amazing
That Polkadot Agate is gorgeous!
I love it too. :)
You're so right about "my precious"!!! I do that too. ❤
Ha, I felt like Smaug. :D
So beautiful!! I need a tumbler!!
All very beautiful.
That was fun! Jealous of your pet. wood for sure. Do you have a rotary or vib. tumbler? Sorry if I missed that info. ROCK ON!! 😁👍🏻🪨⛏️
She used both.
Yep, I use a rotary for the coarse grind, then a Lot-O vibratory tumbler for the rest!
@@KatyDidRocksthank you 😊
NICE !!!!! 🧡💛💚💙💜
Thanks!!
wow, beutiful, envy you some of those rocks.....if I had found some of those rocks here, I would have bought me an tumbler, be sure!!

Those little rocks would be very cool added to a fish tank.
They are pretty cool!

I would definitely recommend a rotary tumbler for the coarse grit - but the vibratory tumbler is AWESOME for the polish!

Imperfections make the rocks one of a kind. Beautiful and fun. I really love the Montana agate with the dendrites.
Thank you very much!

That’s what we do so fun so beautiful. Everything about our hobby is great. I see you have a Lot-o I have the same one. I like it a lot.😊❤
I do too - although I understand that the motor is not as good as it was.
@@KatyDidRocks I am having good luck with my Lot-o . I did have to adjust the tuning bar though.

Thanks for watching! :D
Beautiful tumbles! I've been wanting to polish some thicker slabs in the tumbler. I'm like you don't mind imperfections.
I think it's a matter of taste. Purists will disagree. :)
I love seeing tumbled rocks! So beautiful ❤️

Just beautiful ❤️ I'll look on your Etsy site.

If the rollers are still working, you can buy barrels on Amazon or other venues. Glad you enjoyed it.
