10 hrs to rebuild side of a van ? Took me 3 days to insulate and carpet 2 van doors don't know how you do it fella and keep sharing that great knowledge you have mate
Lining up the panels was a nightmare as they were all from different suppliers, then welding them in outside is always a challenge but done now, thanks for watching 👍
yes i thought it was worth saving, sadly lots of these go to the scrap yard when they are fundamentally good but when the seems rust they become an eye saw but really its pretty straightforward to replace the panels, thanks for watching.
Thanks Peter not as good as I would have liked but had to make a silk purse out of a sows ear ,be fine with a skim of filler and a lick of paint , thanks for watching 👍
Thanks Andrew, these two panels were a challenge thanks to the previous owner removing the old panels too high up,but it’s done now, this and the sliding door rail were the worst bits but should be plain sailing from now on,ha ha famous last words, thanks for your continued support 👍
@@DIYCampervansAndVariety the mix of original panels with at least two different pattern panels was always going to be a challenge. Risen to the occasion once again 👍
Thanks Aly I’ve been looking into fitting other engines if this one is shot and the suburu looks the best option as all the conversion parts are available either that or golf gti,we will have to see, thanks for watching 👍
Slow and steady wins the race! Glad you had a few nice days away in Wales, Shaun. 🌞

Hi Shaun if that engine doesn't run, you could swap it for a Subaru engine 😉
