Hey Hey Gavel Gang, What are your thoughts on the outcome of this tragic case? Do you think justice was served, or should the punishment have been different? Drop your opinions below!" ⚖ ⚖ 🗽 🗽 ♥ ♥
@ameizl I don't get any sincerity from a statement read and no doubt written by her attorney. She was old enough to know not to be doing ANYTHING on her phone while driving, especially after racking up one bad decision after another behind the wheel.
Now the victims family gets to live in purgatory…..every time the offender comes up for parole, the victims family will need to go before the parole board and beg that they do allow her to get out of prison.
Hey hey, Gavel Pal! 🌟 I agree with you. It's such a tough situation for the victim’s family. This case is a big reminder of how our actions have lasting impacts. Thanks for sharing your thoughts and helping raise awareness. - Silent ⚖ 💔 🗽
Hey hey, Gavel Gal! 🌟 Thanks for the comment! Staying safe and avoiding distractions like cell phones is crucial. The Madison Steinweidel case is a good reminder. Your input means a lot! 😊✨
@Yes, we can do the math, but what is the sentence, by which I mean how long does she have to serve? There is a BIG difference between 22 months and 180 months (15 years.)
I was curious as well. I found this news article on the sentencing. I'm still perplexed. Does anyone know? www.lenconnect.com/story/news/crime/2024/11/25/lenawee-county-judge-sentences-dundee-woman-prison-fatal-crash/76504814007/

That’s the least sincere apology I’ve ever heard from a defendant… it just is.
Hey Hey Gavel Pal, I can see where you are coming from @ameizl, Do you think she will change her mind after a few years behind bars? -Silent 😔 ⚖ 🙋
@ all I know is it’s gonna take a LOT of commissary Cup O Noodles for her to maintain that Girl-ish Figure of hers!! 😎👍🏻

Lady strikes me as someone who could care less
I'm stricken as well @ericmings. Hopefully she serves closer to the 15 year range of that sentence. ♥ ⚖ 🗽
Yeah.... Choices were made. Not good ones either.
She’s going to be hungry in prison.
So what was the sentence? I heard 22months to 15 years…. what does that mean?
The minimum sentence is 9/21/2026 maximum is 11/21/2039

@@susantownsend8397 my guess is a vast majority of the 15 years because of her attitude

She has to serve at least 22 months, but no longer than 15 years. The parole board will determine her ultimate fate.
Distracted by boxes of donuts.
