Pokemon Crystal - Battle vs Champion Lance

- The Pokemon League Champion is Lance, the Dragon Master. He has a lv.44 Gyarados, two lv.47 Dragonite's, a lv.46 Charizard, a lv.46 Aerodactyl and a lv.50 Dragonite. All of his Pokemon, except Charizard have Hyper Beam, that cause a lot of damage in your Pokemon. If you win, you'll be the new Pokemon League Champion. Enjoy it!
This reminded me of the long and epic battle that I had against Lance's ace Dragonite against my Suicune. That one turn where Suicune killed it in one hit was the hardest battle of my life. :)
Did Mary and Oak beat the league as well? I didn't know you could just waltz up there to Lance. -.-

i can't seem to get this song out my head because it was so kick-ass.

You know... for some reason... up until just now, while watching the video, I thought Aerodactyl was part ground, not rock... I was rather surprised to see thunder hit!

This game was my fave of all time, even though I have other pokemon games, they should've had more in Jhoto -_-, I remember having 16 badges and the gym leaders and elite 4 were pretty easy, I actually loved my pokemon? yeah sounds weird but its true, I had Feraligator, Rapidash, Togetic, Pidgeot, Dragonnite, and Espeon, all in their 50-60's levels, that was years ago, yeah I admire it so much, I love how the game it's light-blue with little sparkles on it. =)
my friend says you can't get ho oh in crystal is that true?
do they still sell gold/silver/crystal or red/blue/yellow i got my yellow from a friend

tell me what some of your guys' team was. i used suicune electabuzz haunter typhlosion and gyrados (my hall of fame ended up with a level 16 pidgeotto i named airplane!LOL)

This team was actually pretty good, I feel like a boss when i make a good team off of a Meganium lol ;D

Falkner, right, I'm like "whoa, is it really that low-leveled?", every new file I started, I'd always go straight off to train my first party of pokemon, so I'd have back-up you know? =)
@Chad179 Crystal is and still will be my favorite, it was the generation of pokemon that made made us like pokemon even more, it told us pokemon didnt stop at R/S/E and is getting better, newer versions of pokemon will never be as good as the old ones.
i just hope they have a second wave like in fire red and leaf green. all of the elite 4 updated with hoenn and sinnoh to make them harder. I can see lance with dragonite, kingdra, garchomp, salamence, flygon and altaria.

In the earlier generation, Lance had two Dragonairs and one Dragonite. I'm guessing his two Dragonairs evolved much later.
Your description is incorrect. Charizard does have Hyper Beam.

dragonair evolves in dragonite in level 55 i mean
She has Extrasensory, which it can't learn at all without hacks... unless they make a special version of it trhough event, like that Aura Sphere Riolu.

I think my meganium didn't even faint during this battle.
Gyarados is water/"flying" , you should use Thundershock because it has 100% of accuracy and hit double effective , plus you are lvl 50 with Magneton
In Pokemon G/S/C for the Game Boy, if your Pokemon are abone lv.45, you should survive the Pokemon League

It's an egg move if a female Roserade is bred with a male Shiftry or Nuzleaf knowing Extrasensory.
I pretty much owned all of this with a level 65 Feralgatr...Gold/Silver/Crystal are probably the easiest games for One-Pokemon Challenges due to the l33t four falling to Brute force most of the time. (And Ice Punch pretty much owns everything...)

Yes, it is useless because even if it was true the moment you fly or go from one place to another (like from route *blank* to *blank*) They move somewhere else, so even if they were there they would be gone by the time you got there.
I had all 3 fully evolved starters at lvl 47, a level 43 Ampharos with Thunderpunch, Thunder, Protect, and I think Thunderbolt, a lvl 37 Haunter, and a lvl 20 Togepi. all of my pokemon except Ampharos died by the time I got to Lance. and I had no revives throughout the entire thing. Well, Let me just say, that my Ampharos hit Thunder on Gyarados and Aerodactyl in one shot and took them out, Charizard in two with 15hp left, and the Dragonites in one each except the lvl 50 one. took 3 shots(missd)

In my opinion, Omegashenron1992 did a smart thing by healing before battling Lance. Dragon Pokemon are no joke. Everyone here has played a Pokemon game and they should know that Dragon Pokemon are no joke if you are under level

I agree, but I guess it never hurts to be sure. Plus, theoretically, a Lapras with Surf, Ice Beam, and Thunderbolt could effectively eliminate Lance's entire team. I would say he's probably the easiest Champion so far.
On a side note, I thought Dragonair evolves at level 55. So how come Lance has three Dragonites that are level 50 and below? O_O

Once you leveled up enough, his team DOES come off as a bit pathetic. The music is pure epicness though.

Lance calls himself the dragon master but he actually specializes in Flying types. He uses Gyarados Charizard and Aerodactyl because they look like dragons. You would think a master knows the types of his Pokemon. ._.
I beat his entire team dozens of times with only my Dragonite. XD
And they do, usually. But sometimes they can evolve prematurely. Like the whole LV 10 Dragonair with an Old Rod bit. I don't know how it works, and I'm not sure if it's even true, but it happens.
Either that, or Lance has a gameshark we didn't know about. XD
I think Lance was harder in Pokemon r/b/y, but that's just me.
His pokémon are hacked. Most evident by the moveset of his Aerodactyl.

I'm replaying Crystal for the 2nd time since like 2002 and this time I won't cheat. Last time I played, I brought in my level 80 Blastoise from Blue :P This time around I'm using Typhlosion lvl.43, Red Garrados lvl.42, Pigeon lvl.42, Evee lvl.34, Graveler lvl.35 and Onix lvl.31 I need to get an electric pokemon or else I won't stand a chance.
Lance was REALLY easy to me, I had a Lvl 100 Feraligator,and most of my others were 60s. I trained Feraligator really high because I just wanted to beat them on the first try...

i beat the elite 4 and the champion using typhlosion and kadabra back in pokemon crystal.
i dont really like the sound fx their anoying but i like how the moves loke on the battle screen
i really could have used suicune against the E4 in Crystal. Unfortunately, me being the idiot that I am, i ran out of balls against it, and knocked it out. I didn't think to restart, and saved after I killed it
also, Aerodactyl can't learn Rock Slide prior to Gen III....

There’s ways to get evolved Pokemon under evolving levels through SOS battles in Sun and Moon/US UM so it’s possible but yeah lmao back then he may as well have hacked the game
