@@thelastcrow5660I’ll say, I was expecting Asmodeus to be a massively big-breasted, gender bending, succubus queen, with a thick booty, who is so hot and so beautiful that she’d make Aphrodite look like a twelve-year old little girl. I didn’t expect him to be a three-faced rooster pimp.
I instantly loved Beelzebub's design she's a hybrid demon half bee demon half fox! Kesha did such a sensational job voicing the character! And Rochelle Diamante's singing voice is just phenomenal!!!
I'm not entirely sure she is a hybrid, this might just be a result of her being the first hellhound and infinitely more powerful, she rules the Gluttony ring after all. Would be interesting tho!
God, this whole song is such a triumph of animation. The colors! The motion! The sheer joy of the medium! In a time when so many adult animation shows feel like cheap Family Guy clones, this truly lifts my spirits.
If you’re looking for an adult show with an appealing art style, I’d give Mission Hill or Clone High a try! I adore the color palette of MH and the early 2000s aesthetic of CH
I think cotton candy as a food group fits with the sin of glutton so well. It tastes super intense with no nutritional value and you can eat a lot of it but it will never fill you up
I love the fact that everyone's smothering themselves in cotton candy and having a genuinely good time. Meanwhile Loona's like "Why is everyone acting like complete idiots? Wait... are those guys in the fruit bowl high?" She even mouthed "What the ****" lmao (it makes sense though, she is an introvert. This must've been too much for her.)
I feel like Charlie knows all the sins, but she probably gets along with bee pretty well. Because she is not just a wild party animal, but an actual good host and wants people to have a good time.
and literal poison to what she wants to achieve ... all the Princes of Sin are, because what they represent - and if Bee is example of gain power from - the extreme indulgences of sin that Charlie wants to supress in her "clientelle" its highly likely the 7 will be the significant antagonists in Hazbin
@@Asghaadhowever, Bee seems to care about the denizens of hell, especially hellborns. Charlie only wants to get SINNERS to heaven (because hellborns can’t iirc) and so I feel like she’d at least get Along with her better than some others. Not to mention that most of the sins likely don’t leave their rings, so the rest of the sins probably won’t be that big of an issue since they wouldn’t interact with the sinners much due to them all being in pride
bee, to me, makes herself out to be a good host for the sake of her reputation and with the Marie antoinette motif "let them eat cake, let them eat pie", she wants them to overindulge as long as they have a good time
@@Asghaad I feel like the antagonists in Hazbin are going to be whoever rules over Heaven. Between Hazbin and Helluva, it's pretty clear that access to Heaven is super rigged and corrupted so Charlie will have to deal with it because otherwise, it's impossible to give a second chance to her clientelle.
I have thoughts about good and evil and Bee and Charlie. Something about maybe Charlie doesn't know that it's possible to be "sinful" without hurting others, something something Charlie's potential character arc, something something harm reduction instead of going directly cold turkey like Charlie thinks you have to. I don't know. I feel like Bee could cause some interesting character development for Charlie, that's all.
I love how each sin so far is more a celebrity than a monarch or something. I also like how each (except Mammon) is not consumed by their sin, they seem to be more the positive side of the sin, like Ozzie preaching consent and having the most healthy relationship in the show, and Queen Bee being a party animal but recognizing when someone goes too far.
Beelzebub is feeding off the partygoers ("Keep making me that motherfuckin' honey!"). She wants Loona to take care of Blitz because his negative mental state is "poisoning" her meal. She isn't the "positive side" of Gluttony. Just look at how quickly she goes full demon form on Loona, the "I'm everybody's friend" act is just that, an act.
I was honestly astonished seeing Bee's design at first. I really thought she would've had a full insect-like design. Nevertheless, her design's stunning.
I can see what Vivienne meant with the animation in this episode! The animation on this character is so next level! It’s like they’re getting better and better!
I like that they’re introducing the seven deadly sins with songs about their sin. It’s a very nice touch. This one is a bit more subtle than Asmodeus’ spirit of Lust song, but the line “I’m what you want, not what you need” exemplifies gluttony pretty well
Also the genre seems to Match the sin too. Some "lusty" Jazz for Asmodeus and his lust and this happy Song of gluttony by beelzebub being Pop (i think). I'm hoping for pride to be Rock or Metal or any Other directly energetic genre
Right? And someone pointed it put after others complaining out the song not being about honey But cotton candy is such a useless nutrition deprived food. No substance just sugar. So them feeding on it is along the lines of want not need. You crave the taste but it's useless, but in turn in makes HER honey. Honey being packed with nutrition and life sustaining (for bees at least) She's a nice person but in the end feeds of their sin of gluttony.
@@prehistoricorchid3455and to be honest, honey is such a tired trope. Also, despite the bee imaginery, Beelzebub is actually a fly, not a bee, so sugar but no honey still makes sense.
I don't think it is subtle at all. Gluttony is the sin of over indulgence, not just food, so a song about it must reflect the carelessness of partying to the extreme, which is crystalized in the line "I'm what you want, no what you need".
This animation also resembles the die young video in a lot of ways, especially since both of them are a wolf girl singing and being the life of the party.
For a ruler of Gluttony, I’m surprised she’s nice enough to care about Blitzo’s harmful behavior and tell Loona to get him to stop. She’s supposed to embody gluttony, and Blitzo was SO gluttonous to the point of being self-destructive at her party. Normally you’d think she’d still encourage that sort of behavior in a place like hell, but she didn’t! Didn’t expect that!
I think the fact it was genuinely self destructive was what concerned her, since she noted multiple times she feeds off the energy in the room. If he's being a problem to other party goers and also just exuding negative energy it's not gonna make 'good honey'
See I had a different take. She only cared because he was ruining everyone else's time. She wants as many people as possible to have fun and Blizo was ruining it. She'd rather lose 2 people instead of dozens, you know? More people to be gluttonous.
@@animaljamfan10 Feeding? Hold it right there. I don’t think that’s the case.😅 Taste and feed might seem similar at first, but they’re still quite different. Her ability to “taste” people’s vibes means that she knows what state they’re in. It makes her good at reading the room (in the most literal sense of the word). To feed is to need nourishment which she doesn’t really need considering her power gives her manipulation over food. Think of it like those fancy parties where you’re only eating to taste rather than to fill your stomach, but much more exciting and fun! Just because she can taste other’s “flavors” doesn’t necessarily mean she needs it like some form of nourishment.🤔
Queen Lizebub can sense Loona’s discomfort in the party but she still manages to comfortably talk with Loona like that moment when Bee says “Your my new favourite person now~ I mean it for real~ ”😌 Her personality is very extroverted, unfiltered and pretty likeable Imma stan her now 😆🍯🐾🍰
I'm kinda hoping we get a more in depth look at Bee, considering how much of this song was straight up referencing drug use. She may seem like a good person, maybe she even tries to be a good person. But her influence on people seems to be inherently harmful and self destructive.
@@Nyx_Fey_Well she's fine with indulgence, but she actively tries to make sure everybody is having fun, not trying to drink themselves to death, because positive energy feeds her, not negative energy.
@@Brutalyte616 I think she can feed on any energy but positive energy is "tastier" also I think she uses that energy to make her honey/ that alcohol she drinks with Blitz.
It'd be really dope if all the 7 Deadly Sins had their own songs to introduce them We've had Asmodeus and now Beelzebub It'd be so dope to see them all sing and maybe have different music genres.
I appreciate how the creators didn't make her like the typical biatchy girlfriend. You know, giving Tex a reason to leave her for Loona or whatever. Queen Bee's relationship with Tex is fine and wholesome. They immediately go to my list of favourite HB ships. Another thing to add, this one episode is enough to convince me that Queen Bee is an awesome biatch to hang out with
@@DreamWatcherLps Really? You think she's toxic? I never thought about that Because I just thought at that moment, she was telling Loona to keep her out of control Dad well, under control. It could be a power she has or it's just like metaphorically her power, when she mentioned about feeling everyone's energy in the party. I was thinking that she means that she sensed that Blitz was drinking and being wild not only just to have fun, but he was excessively doing so as result of his disaster 'date' with Stolas back in the Lust ring. That's one of the unhealthy reasons people excessively get intoxicated, I believe. I didn't think she was toxic, I think she was being considerate, making sure that the party doesn't get ruined or Blitz doesn't ruin everyone's fun. Or she even sense that what Blitz is doing is just too unhealthy, even for her and him. She didn't even shame Blitz's actions, she even commented with 'Good for him'. She didn't even immediately kick them out of the party, she was just asking Loona to check on Blitz, she even spoke it to her with a casual and friendly manner. But Loona is being salty, the only reason why she did so is because of her crush on Tex. But no shame on Loona, she's one of my favourite HB characters. But this is just my opinion though, I'm happy to hear more interpretations on Queen Bee and this latest episode
@@DreamWatcherLps The part when you mentioned that she gets mad when things don't go her way, maybe because she's the host of the party, it's literally her job to make sure the party doesn't get ruined. She only got mad at Loona was because she was being unreasonably salty, all she was asking for was for her to check on Blitz. Not even once did she mention about anyone getting kicked out, she's just making sure everyone was having fun
Loona decided to go aggressive on her and you said she's toxic 😂 Bee has been nice to her and ask her to check on Blitzo but Loona decided to be mean to her.
The representation of Gluttony is a sharp contrast to the overlord that reflects it like Rosie. Much like Ozzie, there's more refinement to their deadly sin than the distorted image painted by sinners, not to say they aren't bad habits which they are, but they are more subtle and enthralling. Gluttony is all about over indulging oneself. Bee here not only gives a cozy feeling of eating treats but also of momentarily forgetting everything in the atmosphere of her party.
I like how Bee seems to really love and want to be friends with the hellhounds. Considering imps and hellhounds are some of the lowest ranked demons in Hell, you’d think any affection a royal would give them would be manipulative or predatory, but she doesn’t give those vibes at all.
Kinda makes sense, the Princes of Sin have a ton of genuine power that outstrips the real power of the Goetia nobility (who supplement their power with the political influence and general pompousness of nobility). When you are 1 of the 7 top dogs of your plane of existence, you can afford to be buddy buddy with "lesser folk", no real need to keep up appearances when you are practically a physical god. You could also argue it represents how easily available the 7 Deadly Sins (the actual sins) are to everybody, it doesn't take a special person to be lustful, prideful, gluttonous etc. So the "little people" are just as valuable to them.
I absolutely love the callbacks to Vic’s Die Young video. Bee is clearly inspired by Jayjay, she even matches Jayjay’s color palette for a moment in the music video, and Bee is even voiced by Kesha! It’s a wonderful reminder of how far Vivziepop has come as an artist. (and I’m kinda disappointed I don’t see enough people talking about that)
I know exactly what you mean! Around 1:01 is when I noticed that her color palette was similar, and I thought it was a nice nod to her "Die Young" animation.
Honestly love this character. She clearly is like a "rave mom" that person making sure people at the party aren't going too overboard but still having fun. Plus, she is clearly getting energy off of people overindulging, but since she's doing it in a nice way, no one cares. Basically like a known deal. She gets something out of it, but they get something as well, so they're good.
Not only that but she also cares about the reasoning behind her partygoer’s gluttonous behavior. If it’s for a bad reason, she can obviously tell but if it’s just for having fun and they’re not getting too crazy about it, she’s more than happy to provide.
I dunno which out of the two is better. But all I can say is the fact Vivziepop was able to get Ke$ha to be apart of an episode of Helluva Boss is what makes this episode amazing! The fact she was also able to achieve a lifelong dream of hers and give fans a huge bop to listen too. It's a win win for everyone! 🎉🥳
yup, only downside is since its Kesha, Queen bee probably will never return (hopefully im wrong, but it seems to be a thing in tv that when a big name, like Kesha, Guest stars/voices a character, that character never returns cause the celebrity is either too busy or too expensive to have them on again...i hope im wrong)
@bouncyknight4017 sadly that might be true. But maybe her singing voice actress can do it? (Mostly because of the copyright issues. And because she can do a really good impression of her!) But still, it would still be nice to bring Kesha back.
When I saw her I thought she was going to be a main antagonist for Loona but she's cool and nice. I love her design and the fact she was voiced by KESHA is great!!
It was pretty cool how in every interaction between the 2, Loona seems to be the aggressor Proves that the biggest thing holding Loona back is her own insecurity
@@pageclayton6850 exactly and the fact that bee is trying to make Loona feel at ease even though she knows she’s not used to a party and she doesn’t make her feel bad for any awkwardness.
@jaspurrzwas gonna say, it sounds badass but “bombproofing” basically just means exposing your horse safely to things that scare them until they’re impossible to scare, or “bombproof.” no horse is 100% though. once had an old lesson barn horse spook on me because someone had moved the plastic lawn chair outside the gate to a slightly different spot.
*STILL* blows my mind Ke$ha didn't sing this even though it sounds like her. This other girl named Rochelle, who also actually has a song called "Queen Bee", sang in her place, but she's super talented! Super cool to see two talented people come together to make a cool character like Bee shine. Also absolutely LOVE her design, she's so pretty.

Already liked her because of her lava lamp like hair and torso but the fact that she actually cares for the people in her party and got genuinely concerned for blitz when he chugged a whole barrel of strong wine makes her so much better and refreshing
yea but she only cares because he was ruining her meal. she is clearly spiking the candy and drugging her guests so she can enjoy there flavor and blitzo was making everyone feel awkward and upset and was being a mood killer making a bad taste in the mouth

Such a sweet song! Beelzebub’s design is sweet too! I really love how she looks out for all her partygoers, even with her natural tendency to overindulge them.
I kinda got the vibe that Beelzebub is a wolf in sheep's clothing, though(well, wolf in bee's clothing in her case). What I mean is that her personality seemed to do a complete 180 the moment she noticed that Loona can't be ordered around and that she even dared to talk back at her. Plus, there're this whole thing where hell hounds are treated no different than real life dogs by other species in hell, despite the fact that Beelzebubs is a hell hound herself and could put an end to this.
@@dork7546 Right i got that vibe directly too. They are def all seduced there and it didnt work with Loona since she didnt eat any of the candies and never touched her drink, plus that shes not the girl for parties. I could see that everytime we get a Queen Bee apearance she will hardly try to make Loona bow down like all the other hellhounds in hell. I actually go that far and say all the hellhounds and imps we saw at the party got brainwashed by her and Loona is one of the missing hellhounds in hell who aint under Beelze's control yet which she wants to change now and thats why Loona was invited to the party by Tex.
@@dork7546 This is just Asmodeus all over again. Just because someone gets angry, that does not mean they will be a future villain. You'd get angry too if you tried to just tell a girl she needs to help her dad, and then she told you to bugger off.
@@Gamer_G33k Asmodeus is a dick, though. Just because he has a genuine relationship with Fizz doesn't change the fact that he humiliated Moxxie, Blitzo and Stolas just because he could.
I'm surprised that Tex is dating *one of the Seven Rulers of Hell.* Being a Hellhound (a rank below imp or something), you'd think the relationship wouldn't work and yet it is. Also, Queen Bee is a most gracious host. She knows when it's time to stop and she convinces people to not overdo it. For the Ruler of Gluttony, I would think she just wouldn't care if people went a little overboard just as long as they keep taking what they want. Fulfilling only their deepest desires. This episode was beyond excellent. Truley stupendous.
Probably the most impressive animated sequence in all of Helluaboss. Like I can only imagine how hard it is to deal with the camera angles, color shifts, many many background characters, and the constant shifting of Bees lava lamp details. Like Jesus christ, you could appreciatethis kinda of quality for hours! They put WORK into making this as good as it is. My hat is off to the hardworking team that pulled off this masterpiece.
Nah, there are techniques for animating things like her lava lamp belly and hair so that they can focus on the animation and acting of the character itself.
@@nexusthenormie5578even so, the movements had to be specifically designed for her movements and to be as fluid as possible. So that still had to be a nightmare to get right. Especially since she has so much screen time, and she's a very active character.
I like how Bee isn’t actually that bad, she is actually nicer compared(level of craziness going on in hell) to other characters in the show and knows when to put her foot down but also knows when to back away.
Gluttony is the sin of over indulgence, so she wanting to just party and have a great time makes sense. And yeah, that shows that not all princes are evil, demons are people too.
Of course not all demons aren’t evil. A lot of them are kind people with their own hobbies and interests. Which is like a decent person who cares about others-level decent.
She's too nice and a saint, she should be in Heavan because nothing about her or the episode felt evil or sinful, Gluttony doesn't feel like a Ring of Hell, it feels like a Ring of Heavan and I know about the images of the Ring, they gave off vibes that it is happy but also sinister.
@@artistanthony1007 uhh she literally farms these hounds for theyr energy by pushing them to overindulge to "make her that mfckin honey" ... she isnt "evil". just manipulative impulsive and selfish in other words interesting character with obvious and less obvious flaws and bit of the mystery behind how her power actually works
@@artistanthony1007 gluttony is the over consumption of something that is not of importance, so even tho she seems that way, she is giving the people at her parties more than what they need, like a lot of cotton candy, as well as her enlarging the taco and alcoholic beverage.

Since Her Sibling is Sloth Im guessing theyll go the opposite Way with her Ring, being sort of like a Luxury Spa the Size of a small City. With Circus Balloons that give you a Chill High.
Vivziepop's career has come full circle guys! Several years ago she made an animated music video to a Kesha song, now she literally has Kesha singing an original song in her series! Bravo, Bravo! 👏 👏 👏

despite it being way shorter than the others this episode was really beautifully animated, especially during this song. i'm glad we got a loona focused episode as well :)
Honestly, at first, I thought Bee was gonna be an antagonist/villain, but she just ended up being a kinda intense, but pretty laid back and chill party girl :) I love her :)
I love that Bee changes colors. I also love the fact that she can feel everyone’s vibe since they ate or drank stuff from her hive, but Luna didn’t have any which is why I think bee got upset when they were talking about Blitzo
Loona a bu elle aussi, elle était complètement défoncé quand elle a parlé à Bee. C'est pour ça qu'elle réagissait agressivement quand Bee lui a dit pour Blitzø alors qu'elle aurait dû s'inquièter.
Loona demonstrated classic social anxiety throughout this entire event - constantly avoiding people and growling at anyone that got too close (even if their proximity to her was merely incidental): even in an environment as non-threatening as this, she can't let her guard down because of some past trauma that she has never really recovered from.
Major props to Rochelle, she did so damn well matching Kesha's voice for the singing! I absolutely ADORE Bee. Love her whole design, that she appears as a Bee-Hellhound but isn't a Hellhound. She genuinely seemed to like Loona, instead of giving us a typical mean girl trope.
Looking back at Vivzie’s “Die Young” music video she’s really improved and I just gotta say I’m obsessed with Queen Bee’s design. This right here is how you can tell Vivzie loves her job 💞
@@Stingra87 Yeah I know, I think about the team behind it as well. I just say Vivzie because she's the main creator who posts stuff and addresses issues. I wish I could be one of those animators tho but I'm far from good enough
1:21 one really small detail I like here is that, just before she flys out from the honey, for a split second Bee’s voice is somewhat muffled because she’s singing in the honey.
She’s really kind, she’s using her powers to help others by giving them food and making them happier, she’s also really respectful towards others, I like her.
Yeah, she's a party girl I'd like to be around and just a fun friend. She wants people to have fun and indulge, but not to go overboard for a bad reason (like with Blitz- she's genuinely worried about his mental well-being)
There is not a single flaw in Bee. Her design is a gorgeous mix of hellhound, bee, and lava lamp. Kesha did an incredible job voicing her. I already knew her singing voice was going to sound great since I love Kesha’s music but this is my first time hearing her voice act and I definitely think she’s great at it. Finally, I absolutely adore her personality, she’s a fun-loving party animal, but at the same time, a genuinely sweet girl
@@trashotakuI believe it was suppose to be Kesha singing originally, but her record label threw a legal fit, so they got someone that sounded similar to sing.
What we have learned: 1. She is what we want 2. She is NOT what we need 3. Cotton candy skies are sweet as apple pie 4. She cant help but shine brighter than the starlight in the sky 5. Cotton candy
The song, her whole colorful design and the fact she's voiced by Ke$ha gave me a huge mid 2000' vibe, like being a teenager who just threw their allowance at Claire's proudly wearing everything you got there, blasting your fav song in your earbuds while walking back home feeling like you're the coolest person on Earth
I think my FAVORITE part of this bit of the episode- is how much it looks like she's just *genuinely* having fun and a good time, and enjoying herself just doing what she loves, and how sweet she treats the partygoers.
I know a lot of people don’t like her design because she’s not an actual insect, but I like to think of it as her blending in with the hell hounds that she rules over. And she’s not exactly a hellhound either, she’s a fox. She still is slightly different as to reflect her status as a sin. It’s like that one comic where dogs see god as another dog.
Well the pagan deity she's based on wasn't an insect either. The only association with insects is that worshipers would make sacrifices to him to drive away pestilence. It's like calling a pagan deity that put's out fires the "lord of fire". Or one that cures plagues the "lord of plagues". Certain groups that viewed their god/deity as the one true deity forced the association with flies to demonize him and justify attacks against his worshipers.
I still believe it would've been a better option to make her fully insectoid. Mixing a fox/bee doesn't make sense. Where does the fox half come to play? The bee part makes sense, Queen bee, making addictive substances (honey), etc. She's gluttony incarnate. An enabler. Foxes are cunning thieves. They'd know better than to drink to excess. But she actively enables their addictions. So I guess the trapping/hunting part of a fox? Since she says "make me that motherfucking honey"? Or maybe the whole "while they're drunk/high, I can steal whatever from them)
Some folks, like myself, prefer that things have associations sometimes. Like a bee making honey. Bee-lzebub, gluttony, makes drug-honey? Makes sense, but where does the Jackal half come in? Was she a hellhound who grew to that level? Also, yes, what kind of demon you are is relevant to how you lived your life, if you were a human. That's like, a huge part of it. You never wondered why Alistair was a deer demon? God forbid we look further than "hur dur pretty fox lady"@@drizzitdude
I don't like it not just because it's not insect related, but the whole thing is just a jumbly mess. Keep her as a fox and bee if u want, but what's up w the clothes and hair? It's not that deep of an issue, but still, she's not as pleasing to look at as Asmodeous design-wise, for example.
I need this song on Apple Music by the end of the day, it’s a certified bop! But I’d expect nothing less from Kesha; still can’t believe it came full circle and Viv got to work with her idol. Couldn’t be happier for her!
@natureisneat8262 It is Kesha if you look at the credits on the actual episode. She recently removed the $ sign from her name and now goes by her actual name Kesha Serbet
Kesha is voice of BEE but I’m giving it a 100000% A+ for her acting and her singing is more greater than Verosika Mayday. I wonder who’s going to win Verosika Mayday vs Bee
It's because softening the consonants makes it sound better, literally. Humans see hard sounds "ck", "T", etc. as more aggressive. Changing the way the words cotton candy sound makes the song more enjoyable to listen to
@@Iziamackomg same! It took me so long through the song to realise it was Cotten. Was confused but memorised by the animation so didn’t question it haha

She is FAR from nice. She is a predator,a carnivore. She feeds you so you feed her back and keep the monster in check. She's easily one of the deadliest sins out there.
@andreguia1731 your claims are just weird. She encourages her party goers to indulge and feed her with their gluttony but she still makes sure they are safe while doing so and actively encourages people to stop when they aren't emotionally fine. Literally all the sins do it but just their own ways. Ozzie runs a club to feed off lust and mammon just sits on piles of cash feeding off his own sin, greed, which of course requires nobody else except himself because that's the point of greed.
@@zacharyjackson1829 I think its important to note that from what we can tell her high is related to peoples emotions, so it may not be that she's making sure people are safe and happy while indulging for their genuine well being. It's also important to note that her and mammon are the reason for hellhound pounds. Amazing super fun character but I don't get acting like she isn't one of the deadly sins.
@FireTurkey i dont think anyone is disregarding the fact that she is a sin. I just think when compared to a sin like Mammon, the other sins like Asmodeus and Beezlebub come across as pretty reasonable people to be around, until you piss them off. Gluttony is a pretty tame sin all things considered. It certainly is self harmful when unchecked but that's what Bee does, she keeps people in check so the gluttony keeps rolling in and feeding her high.
I think the best thing about Bee is that she covers many different interpretations of Beelzebub. Things like Beelz may not actually be an insect and was just called that as basically an insult to his followers, as Beelz's title is more like "Lord of the Fliers" but it was corrupted to "Lord of Flies" instead to infer Beelz was basically a pile of dog crap with flies circling it. It also plays on some traditions where Beelz is a "Heavenly Dwelling" or "Dwells on High" and is paired with the "Evening Sun" which explains the disco ball becoming a lot like the sun towards the end. Also her look in the show is obviously to blend in with the "party" animals of the Hell Hounds. As their "Lord" she makes them "fly" by getting them essentially high as heck, and then her gluttony comes in drinking up that emotional and physical high of the party over pure gluttony.
Am I the only one that gets summer vibes from this song? Kesha’s singing always gives midsummer vibes. Hoping this hits Spotify and becomes the song of the summer
Bee’s design was phenomenal and her personality was a treat! This time, a ‘Prince’ of Hell who isn’t an an arrogant prick. She just wanted everyone to have a good time! Of course, just because she’s laidback, it doesn’t make her any less capable of taking charge! Very observant too, spotting that something was up with Blitz mentally.
The fact that season 1 ended with the introduction of not just one but TWO of the Sins is amazing, but I think it’s really cool how they made Bee and Ozzie on opposite ends of the spectrum but they’re both still powerful enough to bring development to the main cast.
I am blown away with how much I love and appreciate Queen Bee's design! She's like a cross between a bee/hellhound and a sweet, sugary, psychedelic lava lamp.

Ya know for a while I wondered why the gluttony sin would be so hyped over cotton candy to make a song about it, then it hit me. It's the most gluttonous treat, like 90%+ sugar, no real caloric value, made of a highly addictive substance, bright attractive colors, delicious taste, and often advertised alongside other indulgence items. It makes sense really.
Lyrics :) Hey, I’m what you need I’m what you want I got it all, a carnival I’ll bring you up I’ll take you down I’m sticky sweet Stuck in your teeth like cotton candy Cotton candy Cotton candy Cotton candy I’m what you want, not what you need Hey I don’t know why I’m what you want but it’s the truth I’m not sure like Let them eat cake, let them eat pie Or better yet, let them eat cotton candy Cotton candy Cotton candy Cotton candy I’m what you want, not what you need Cotton candy skies Sweet as apple pie I can’t help but shine Brighter than the starlight in the sky (Cotton candy, cotton candy) Yeah Cotton candy I’m what you want, not what you need So what you want? (Talking: Ya hungry? Take a bite! Get fat tonight!! Your queen bee brings the sweet stuff, so keep making me that motherf*cking honey!! Yeah, keep it comin!) Cotton candy Cotton candy Cotton candy I’m what you want, not what you need Cotton candy skies Sweet as apple pie I can’t help but shine Brighter than the starlight Cotton candy skies Sweet as apple pie I can’t help but shine Brighter than the starlight in the sky [End] I know nobody asked but like, nobody told me not to either sooo... 😋
It’s “let them eat cake, let them eat pie, or better yet let them eat cotton candy”. They’re doing a play on what people think Marie Antoinette said “let them eat cake”
THIS IS THE SONG I’VE HEARD IN HAZBIN HOTEL SHORTS! I haven’t seen too much of Helluva. I’m glad that we get to see more sins both in this show and Hazbin.
At 1:02 when the light colors change, Queen bee has the same color palette as JJ from that "Die Young" animation Vizie made! It was such a cool reference as she finally got to hire Kesha as a voice actor for one of her characters!! Time flies, huh
Ozzie with Burlesque. Queen Bee with pop. No doubt every prince will have their own musical numbers to introduce themselves. And with their own genres, too! Mammon with rock/metal is a definite with the teasers. Belphegor could be Psycore with all the drugs? Satan from Wrath could be stereotypically western/country. Leviathan, from under the sea, could be anything. Maybe orchestral symphonies? Under the sea with crabs (in more ways than one)? And ring leader Lucifer. Maybe dark Disney musicals, a dark reflection of her daughter’s style. Or something circus-like.
kinda ironic all of the sins so far basically go against their sin that they represent (not including Lucifer). Beezlebub knows when Blitzo needs to stop, Asmodeus is in a romantic relationship with Fizz, and from what we can tell, Belphegor works in the medical field which can be very busy.
I think the whole thing with Blitzø is that he was "ruining the vibe of the party" which, in turn, would cause people to leave and stop being indulgent so instead of leaving the one overly indulgent person there and causing people to leave due to being uncomfortable, she just removed the root problem which was Blitzø.
@magnusdiridian well, anger issues and depression tend to go hand in hand so that makes sense. Sloth I doubt will act like that. Most of these make sense when you think about it for a minute. Sloth will probably still be lazy, but he/she will probably also be working a full-time job. That's my take on your theory
I really like how she's called Queen Bee after Beelzebub, and the bug-like traits of Beelzebub. But she also ACTS like a queen bee in a hive when she gives all of the party members food in order to make honey for her!

God, this whole song is such a triumph of animation. The colors! The motion! The sheer joy of the medium! In a time when so many adult animation shows feel like cheap Family Guy clones, this truly lifts my spirits.

Family Guy and Seth McFarlane's other shows look like sloppy seconds compared to Vivziepop's work.
I think cotton candy as a food group fits with the sin of glutton so well. It tastes super intense with no nutritional value and you can eat a lot of it but it will never fill you up

I feel like Charlie knows all the sins, but she probably gets along with bee pretty well. Because she is not just a wild party animal, but an actual good host and wants people to have a good time.
and literal poison to what she wants to achieve ... all the Princes of Sin are, because what they represent - and if Bee is example of gain power from - the extreme indulgences of sin that Charlie wants to supress in her "clientelle"
its highly likely the 7 will be the significant antagonists in Hazbin

Right? And someone pointed it put after others complaining out the song not being about honey
But cotton candy is such a useless nutrition deprived food. No substance just sugar. So them feeding on it is along the lines of want not need. You crave the taste but it's useless, but in turn in makes HER honey. Honey being packed with nutrition and life sustaining (for bees at least)
She's a nice person but in the end feeds of their sin of gluttony.

@@CloakedSpie solid take! i can definitely see that as well

@@DreamWatcherLps Really? You think she's toxic? I never thought about that
Because I just thought at that moment, she was telling Loona to keep her out of control Dad well, under control.
Not even once did she mention about anyone getting kicked out, she's just making sure everyone was having fun
Loona decided to go aggressive on her and you said she's toxic 😂
Bee has been nice to her and ask her to check on Blitzo but Loona decided to be mean to her.
Yeah. She genuinely cares about the wellbeing of the people around her, and that’s why I like her so much.
Yeah from what we have seen from the seven sins they just want their friends, followers, or subjects to enjoy themselves
She's a fox demon, so I reckon she probably has some connection to nellhounds. That, or she just likes them because they're similar to her.
Her parties are all inclusive

@Gamer_G33k, maybe it's because of the whole thing of them being a sin
@@Gamer_G33k Asmodeus is a dick, though. Just because he has a genuine relationship with Fizz doesn't change the fact that he humiliated Moxxie, Blitzo and Stolas just because he could.
I'm surprised that Tex is dating *one of the Seven Rulers of Hell.*
Being a Hellhound (a rank below imp or something), you'd think the relationship wouldn't work and yet it is.
Also, Queen Bee is a most gracious host. She knows when it's time to stop and she convinces people to not overdo it. For the Ruler of Gluttony, I would think she just wouldn't care if people went a little overboard just as long as they keep taking what they want. Fulfilling only their deepest desires.

Or maybe the whole "while they're drunk/high, I can steal whatever from them)
@@noahparker1384in what way does it not make sense? Do we have strict species rules for princes of hella ozzy is three skulls on a suit.
I like how that even though Bee is the glutony sin..she knows when enough is enough when it comes to a certain point on certian things
True

I know nobody asked but like, nobody told me not to either sooo... 😋
i was actually looking for the lyrics, thx!
@@Duality104 Np!
Thank you I’ve been looking for thattttt
It’s “let them eat cake, let them eat pie, or better yet let them eat cotton candy”. They’re doing a play on what people think Marie Antoinette said “let them eat cake”
@@JohnDoe-ul7sm Oh alright, thx for telling me. Imma fix my comment now
Watching this episode didnt even feel like an episode, it felt like a whole tribute to Vivs fandom with all the references to Die Young
Yea, its a literal party for celebrating how far Vivzie has come
Every song in Vivziepop’s shows are always so catchy.🎵🫰
THIS IS THE SONG I’VE HEARD IN HAZBIN HOTEL SHORTS! I haven’t seen too much of Helluva. I’m glad that we get to see more sins both in this show and Hazbin.
At 1:02 when the light colors change, Queen bee has the same color palette as JJ from that "Die Young" animation Vizie made! It was such a cool reference as she finally got to hire Kesha as a voice actor for one of her characters!! Time flies, huh
But sadly for legal reasons they made Rochelle sing Bee's parts because kesha was fighting her old producer in court
GET OUT OF MY HEAD STOP
Satan = Death Metal music.
@@ShamanZ-ji9quagreed. If his app on the phone screams work-out, death metal sounds like it really gets the blood pumping and muscles working.
kinda ironic all of the sins so far basically go against their sin that they represent (not including Lucifer).
Beezlebub knows when Blitzo needs to stop, Asmodeus is in a romantic relationship with Fizz, and from what we can tell, Belphegor works in the medical field which can be very busy.
i think it was more he was not being greedy.
he was suffering. and it was ruining her mood since she could feel it.
Mammon
I think the whole thing with Blitzø is that he was "ruining the vibe of the party" which, in turn, would cause people to leave and stop being indulgent so instead of leaving the one overly indulgent person there and causing people to leave due to being uncomfortable, she just removed the root problem which was Blitzø.
That means that wrath will have severe depression issues, and sloth will be hooked up to a giant can of monster and talk like speedy gonzales
