As a guy who is more of a traditional paper Illustrator and who is comfortable animating with Photoshop. I got to say this video may be short but man the results are so clean..... it has given me motivation to give Adobe Animate another go.
Instead of copy pasting your clip in AE 50 times there's a reaaaaal quick and simple expression that will loop it out automatically forever. Just enable time remapping and then add this expression loopOut(type = "cycle", numKeyframes = 0) . Then you can just stretch out your clip for as long as you need it

actually there's a even easier way. If you go in "interpret footage" way down in the menu there's a loop option where you can choose how many times you want it to loop...you can even copy that interpretation and paste it on other clips you imported....suuuuper easy!
yeah of course not everybody using after fx wants to be digging through expressions and everything, really loving your channel it's an excellent reminder of how fun and interesting short creative animation work can be.

i fcking love you guys. I've wanted to study animation for such a long time, but no college where I live offers it (can you believe that!!) I've been trying to teach myself how to animate, but I get really frustrated and usually give up. Your explanations are very easy to understand, and it's so helpful to see exactly what layer/overlays you use!! Definitely hit that bell and subscribed! (I have to add I literally never press the bell, so you know I love your content for sure).
I like the concept of animation but the exhausting amount of effort placed in it for minimal amount of money. Like a few minutes of animation is thousands of frames and for not much at all for each frame.
This video kind of just blew my mind a bit... actually a lot. Knowing both Animate and After Effects well enough to execute on this excites me way too much knowing that I can now translate my illustrations into animations, and highlighting them on my social media accounts. Thank you so much for all the videos you've been making and please continue making them. My gosh this is exciting to see! I've been chasing the chance to be an animator, and knowing now it's well within my grasp gets me pumped. Seriously, thank you both!
Wowww, I just found this channel and OMG YOU GUYS ARE AMAZING!! I'm learning how to draw so I can make 2D animation (I already work with motion graphics, but I don't know how to draw THAT well, still learning), and this video just helped me in soooooo many levels!! Thank you!!

Unfortunately my school doesn't allow Illustration majors to take any animation courses so I've been trying to do that on my own. You guys have been a big help!
