Hello, my family is from Paraguay and I’m a United States Citizen who is thinking about moving to Paraguay. Thank you, for making your video!

Move to Paraguay 🇵🇾 too pretty soon.. god bless you guys
We are planning to move to Paraguay too here in California the life is terrible now the inflation is very high .Thanks for sharing. God bless you,
Yeah, we totally understand! That's why living in a place that gives us peace (in more than one way) was so important. God bless you as well!💖
We're going to Paraguay for the first time this week!
How was it ?
You seem happy and content! that is the most important fact, Paraguay is not for just anybody it is not like some other popular countries where Americans like to move to. I am glad you are assimilating and enjoying Paraguay, cheers!
Thank you Carlos and yes you are right!! It's not for everybody but it's great for us!!
I was considering malaysia to retire in but you have convinced me this is a far easier place to live. Thanks for the post :)
Lol! Thanks!
Ya! Y'all had me convinced (to seriously consider Paraguay) at "home schooling is legal". Have a blessed day.
I HOPE YOU HAVE A GREAT GOOD TIME IN PARAGUAY, GUYS I'M HAPPY FOR YOU
All points you mention there were on my mind as well when I decided to move to Paraguay. Thanks for your amazing videos!
ad: You're so right about the developed countires part as a centre of all conflicts
Im wondering how they treat LGBTQ expat couples
Beautiful family. Bold and courageous choice! You look so happy which is good to see.
Thank you so much!
thank you for the information
Great video, greetings from Perú. I only want to mention that Bolivia has a big city called "Santa Cruz de la Sierra" which is located in a very similar climate to Paraguay and it has a very powerful agrarian/cattle based economy.
Hey Pablo! Thank you and thanks for sharing that info!!
thanks for taking the time.
Very nice. Blessed family. Thanks for sharing
Thank you for this video. My family and I are currently in South Americs and Im feeling a need for something more, different. I started googling and came across Paraguay, Im soooo interested. Hope to meet you on our visit, I have so many questions.

Hello are you still living there? how is life there for a single black female? Does is flood a lot? I'm ready to move away from the states and I'm really considering Paraguay to move. Have y'all upload the 2nd part with the info for what it was like moving from USA, and what it is like looking for land?✨
Yes sir!! Haven't forgotten about that one, it's soon on the way!
Nice video. Amazing to see a beautiful Black family finding their peace abroad! Do you guys plan to obtain Paraguay 🇵🇾 citizenship? Would love to hear a video about that topic
Thank you!! Probably some time in the future we might but we have no immediate plans to do so right now. When or if we do, we'll definitely make a video about that! By the way, our daughter already has citizenship since she was born here and so will the baby I'm carrying now.🤗
Good video my friend
1st video watched 🖤✊✊
We, my husband and I are thinking about living elsewhere for 6 months of the year. We are retired and came across a wonderful Norman Regust from the Walking Dead, who traveled to Paraguay and found it such a beautiful country both in culture and land. Could you give us a dollar price on rent for a decent neighborhood or condo. Can you drink the water from the tap or do you have to buy bottled? Do they have hospitals? Thank you for answering these questions for me. I really appreciate it.
Hi Yvonne,
In the suburbs, decent places to rent can be as low as about $200-400 per month (some places even lower) and of course some a lot higher, depending on the neighborhood. Countryside living is even more affordable. It's recommended to drink bottled or filtered water in general but I've cooked with the tap water before and I've drank it in minimal amounts and have not ever gotten sick. Our personal main source of water in our home is filtered though. And they absolutely have hospitals here, both public and private. I can't think of a single country that has zero hospitals...
Anyways, I gave birth to my daughter here and actually had a better experience here than in the U.S. I made a video where we talked all about it. It's called "Yes, we had a baby here".
Hope that helps, thanks for watching!!
@@paradiseinparaguay7714 Thank you for that information regarding the hospitals. Both myself and my husband's health is not the greatest and we need to find doctor's in the area for our chronic needs. Also, I don't know if you will know this or not, but can we bring our dog? Will they have to quarentine him for 3 months or will his vet papers be proof enough that he is in good health and without illness. This is probably the most important question I need to ask. He is our furry child which I'm sure you all can relate to.
You've made the best decision of your life
Worm welcome to your family to my beautiful country....even though I live in Miami ....enjoyed
Awesome! Thank you!
Thank you for sharing I wish you all the best and look forward to viewing your adventures. I hope one day you have the opportunity to visit Belize it too is a paradise, though much smaller, more rural.
Thanks so much! We'd like to visit there one day too!
Great video guys this place is just perfect for retirement & farm lifestyle, can u tell me how much it costs to move there the lawyer costs & all, I'm seriously considering moving there after watching your video im just tired of the hustle & bustle of cities.

You’re Welcome;)

Thank you so much Adelle!!😘💖
I am considering moving to Paraguay, which areas you could recommend for living in Asuncion? Also, would you say Asuncion is a safe place to live?
Hi Miguel, great! Because we chose to live in a city outside of Asunción, which saves us more money, we can't recommend a specific area to live in but in general, yes Asunción is safe, as is the whole country, especially compared to where we're from! You just have to exercise normal common sense caution, the same way you would anywhere, to not be a target of theft. And as far as violent crime, it's very low.
Sorry I didn't see that link that you sent on a previous video. Thank you for that. So can an American just fly out to Paraguay and settle the visa process? Also I researched an attorney and his name is Jeronimo Finestra and he seems very nice and legit. Have you heard anything about him? Thank you and God bless you and your family! John
We used him initially, he was ok...but we ended up hiring someone else who was more thorough and who communicated with us more often.
One website shows that there are no chemtrails there. Is that true? Can you get verified non-GMO foods? Do they have mandated vaccines?
Nope no chem trails here! No mandated vaccines (at least not right now) and yes lots of non-gmo foods can be found. You just have to know where to get them.
What about Hurricane? Do you have a hurricane season ?thanks. What about the Job market in Cooking and Nursing?
No way, no hurricanes! We made sure of that way before we even decided to visit for the first time because we don't have time for that, lol! And I'm sure it wouldn't be hard to find a job in either of those markets as long as you can speak Spanish.
@@paradiseinparaguay7714 thanks much Beautiful family and blessings.
Apparently the residency financial requirements are outdated, and things changed since COVID. Can you update those details?
Yes, things have changed! We sure will give an update!
I want to visit
I’m Christian also
Y’all are adorable ❤
Awww!! Thank you so much hun!🤗🥰😘
Beautiful Couple
Aww!! Thank you so much!!🩷
As a Paraguayan, I want to clarify that education from pre-school to 6th grade is MANDATORY and FREE. From High school it is the parents' decision to send their children to high school education or not.
👍👍
I believe if you do not speak Spanish or Guarani, or if you are more than 50km from a school, then you are eligible to homeschool your children without issue. I stand corrected, if that is not the case. Seriously looking into Paraguay. I believe that Paraguay has the greatest potential for growth and have secured basic resources such as food, water and electricity. So even if cut off from everyone, it will continue to thrive. Now and forever♥
You are a beautiful family. I a m also considering moving to Paraguay.
Is it very hot and humidity there?
Have you experienced any racism?
What are the negative side of living in Paraguay.
Hi Faye! Thank you!😘🥰 And yes, its very hot and humid here most of the year, (90s and low 100s) although there's a little break from the heat during the winter months (70s, 80s...still warm then, I know, lol!) No, we haven't experienced any racism, that garbage isn't really here, if it is, we haven't seen it in our personal lives. In fact, people gravitate to us positively and tell us how beautiful we are, skin and hair wise in particular!! We absolutely love that!😍 As far as the negative side of being here, one of the quick answers is the lack of infrastructure in some, (not all) areas, but on the flip side, a lot of areas are very nice and the roads are pretty well kept, especially in Asunción...
But if you want the FULL scope about everything you asked about and more, you can always request a consultation via our email at paradiseinparaguay@gmail.com. That's how we've helped a lot of people already!
@@paradiseinparaguay7714 Thank you so much. I will be in touch.
Huh. I should check out Paraguay sometime in the future. I'm African American btw.
You'll be able to breathe here...in more ways than one.
@@paradiseinparaguay7714 👍
@@paradiseinparaguay7714 I'm also curious about your perspective as an african-american, make a video about that!
How are the jobs? Do you know how much does nursing assistant & X-ray tech make there?
Yes, that would be a question for a consultation as there's not a "black and white" straight forward answer to that. It's very multi-faceted.
👍👍👍
How did you get you cars down?
We didn't, it didn't make any sense to do all that. We sold everything, turned everything into cash and bought new things, as what was said in the video.
🇵🇾🧉🇵🇾🧉
The volume on your vlog is very low and hard to hear.🦻
We just invested into some new mics...so our newer videos will be a lot easier to hear. Thanks for the feedback!👍
I can hear them just fine
if the oceans water rises also does the rivers... never the less welcome to paraguay!
This is true, that's why we don't live near either of them. :-)
Can you give me that lawyers name you hired? Also is it possible to buy gold and silver coins down there? I'm less worried about a natural disaster and more concerned about a economic disaster. It sounds like you guys are doing great down there.
Sorry, he kindly told us he's currently not taking new immigration clients last time we sent someone to him. And you can purchase gold and silver in many different forms here.
@@paradiseinparaguay7714 How strange! So who do you guys now suggest? This is an important request.
It's not strange, he was never a residency lawyer. Just a friend that helped us at the time. He practices a totally different area of law.
Hope you're doing well
Thanks so much!! We are!! Getting a new video together to release soon to update everyone!😘
So what type of jobs can I get as an English speaker not having much Spanish vocabulary
Main thing that comes to mind is teaching English. Everyone wants to learn English here! That's about it...if you don't learn any Spanish.
How do guys comucate? Do you guys work?
We like to move there too from USA
Hi there! We can speak some spanish...and my husband works in carpentry for himself here, he also works a job he has in the States whenever we visit there and I'm a proud homemaker as I no longer need to work outside of the home.🤗🤗🤗
I would suggest visiting here at least once, especially in the summer, to make sure you can handle the heat.
I’m headed down February 2024 if you guys are around would love to meet up with you
Hey there! We should be around so that's quite possible!🩷👍
I will be visiting for a couple of months in feb and March... to check out the country/people/and general viability. I am an old fart and have my retirement, and while its not enough to "thrive" in places like N. Y. Cal. or trendy places like Seattle,Denver,etc........it is far more than adequate from what I gather to live comfortably there. Im born/raised in Houston(the Chicago of the South) so being shot at is "no big deal" .My ex wife is a Philippina and after my Viet Nam thing, I lived in the Phils for several years. As you likely know also, Houston has gators, tornadoes, torrential rains, lots of venomous snakes, and dont forget hurricanes, tons of carjackings, home invasions. Also, its hotter than a crotch and the Cops here have no "love" for us old white-boys. I think you kids made a good choice for your family. Very attractive family . This is just my intro message. Can I bend your ear in the future for more info? blessings amigos.....
Hi Rob, thanks for your comment. We believe we made a great choice as well. We just wanted to be somewhere where the environment is generally calm, happy and safe.🤗 And yes, what you said about Houston is typical for a lot of big cities in the U.S. We definitely know about those types of crimes, especially being from the "D" (Detroit). That was yet another thing we were happy and thankful to get away from, as was mentioned in our video entitled "Why we moved out of the U.S.". Anyways, to answer your question, yes, questions can be left here in the comment section but as most people can tell, we're not on here as often as a lot of other RUclipsrs, so we can't promise to always respond, but we'll try. Stay tuned and thanks for watching!☺️
How about babysitters or day care for the kids? We have a 3 year old
Yes, all of that is here.🤗
An excellent video. It is nice to see people having civic pride. America was more like that at one time. I do wish you would be a little more specific with regard to housing prices and other prices. Of course the prices will be lower, but roughly by how much? Also, how much money did you go down there with? In saw condo prices in Asuncion, and, while they weren’t NY or San Fran prices, they were still fairly expensive.
EDIT: I posted this comment before the very end of the video.
Thank you! Yes, America sure was this way a long time ago. Also, in the video, we did mention as well as put into text that the general costs of things here can be as low as a 1/3 of the cost of the same thing in the States (some things might even be 1/2 the cost). We specifically mentioned cable services when we spoke about the price of monthly bills and said that its around $20/month while in the States, similar service packages are about $100 or more per month. That was just a quick example just to put things into perspective.
This was not a cost of living video so we purposely didn't expound on everything for this reason. As far as housing though, there is a HUGE price range on that and Asuncion is definitely not the only nor the best city to look for the lowest pricing. Its the most developed city so naturally, some condos or houses will be quite expensive. But on the other hand, there are also plenty of inexpensive housing choices both in and outside of the capital Asuncion. As we mentioned in the video though, we do plan to further discuss cost of living in the near future.
Amooo Paraguay soy Irlandes australiano me quedo aca amooo paraguay
What about medical freedom? Did you feel forced or coerced to take the Covid jabs?
We feel medically free over here in all ways! And no, we weren't forced or coerced to take any jabs. Not by any businesses or anything. Nothing like the drama that was happening in the U.S.
But will you live there for the rest of your life?
How do you make a living over there?
Kind of...so the initial shock of knowing we had to stay there for a while was a little scary, but once we were there, we actually enjoyed our time and made good memories there!🤗
Did you renounce your American citizenship?
Nope
🇺🇸🇵🇾🇺🇸🇵🇾
Do you speak Guarani? Do you have to fluently?
Hello there! No we don't, lol...but we get along just fine! But, when we're ready for the countryside, we'll know some!
Why Paraguay over Dominican Republic?
All islands and coastal zones were automatically eliminated mainly due to very high risks of tropical storm devastation and any place with any seismic activity was also eliminated. The DR is comprised of both. Geographical safety was and is first and foremost to us before we looked at anything else.
Now we'll VISIT a beautiful island and enjoy a beautiful resort any day, during the right season of course, lol! In fact, we already have visited several islands, including the DR more than once...but to choose to live there or any island for that matter? That was an easy no...for us.

Es un paraíso mucha naturaleza y mucha paz ❤ desde Argentina saludos
Why not central America?
Hmmmm, let's see, lol...the drama with the drug trafficking pipeline for one!! We don't have time for that cartel mess! (If you know, you know!) Not to mention, too much American influence (in the cultures of many of those countries), the HIGH likely hood of hurricanes and ocean level rise (yes, a real thing!), and a lot of those countries are amongst the Pacific ring of fire!🔥 No thank you!!
People, do your research in ALL aspects, not just cost of living! PEACE matters!💖👍

Is there a lot of places to go hiking in Paraguay? I’m thinking like National Parks! 🏞🥾 I also like to go to the gym and lift weights. Is there any good gyms there in Asunción. I’m retired, could I live in Paraguay on $1,500 USD per month a single guy?. Is there English bookstore or libraries where you can get books in English. 📚 😊👍🏻👍🏻
Hi Christopher! Absolutely YES to the first 3 questions! As far as the last question, we haven't seen or heard of any English bookstores or libraries so we're not sure. But I wouldn't count on it. Everything, for the most part, is in Spanish or Guarani (the other official language here.) Not to say it's impossible to come across any English literature, its just probably not an easy find.
👍👍👍
