Jorgelina, You truly are amazing, I just shared the puzzle activity I created after watching your video but somehow my image had a few blank gaps within the cells. I see you are making corrections. YOU TRULY are AWESOME. Thank You so much!!!!
Hi Kimberly! I showed at the beginning of the video how to merge cells together and resize! It takes a little bit of playing around but your pictures will resize automatically as you move the columns and the rows :)
Ty so much for putting this together, I was able to follow along and made my puzzle. Question: Is there a way to import to google Slides? Thank you in advance!!!
Very excited to find this. So far, only about half of my pieced images will show up. Even if I copy from a box that works, as soon as I change the parameters to the next problem/piece, it stops working.
I found the issue. I saw the earlier comment about using "plain text" but I couldn't figure out how - "plain text" doesn't appear under format for text. Then I realized that under Format, there is a Number option with "plain text" as a setting. So my word answers were working, but not my number answers. Switching all the numbers to plain text seems to work.
Thanks for your video. I have made my own. Everything works correctly except the picture is wonky. I need advice on how to resize the images in each cell so that the final picture fits together properly.
This tutorial is amazing. I am surprised you make it available for free. Thanks so much for sharing your expertise! I just bought you a cup of coffee! You are amazing. < Just two things though: 1) How do I make the word FALSE in the image cells go away when the answers are deleted? 2) It looks like I have gridlines show in the image. I turn off the gridlines, but they still show. Any suggestions?

This is a great video. I thought your directions were clear and easy to follow. I must not understand something, though. When I'm done with all the coding, shouldn't I be able to delete my answers and puzzle pieces so the students have only the questions and empty space for the puzzle pieces?
Fantastic!!! Any chance you would share one that is already done (with the formulas) that all we have to do is change the picture, problems, and answers ?
Absolutely! The link tree has direct copies to all the ones I showed in the video, including the one I’m making during! It’s in the video description :)
Hi! This is so awesome. I created one but now I'm not sure how to post it in Google Classroom. Also, do you delete the picture pieces and the answers before posting?
Hi Dalia! To assign on google classroom, you make a new assignment and select your student version from your drive, make sure you choose the option “make a copy for every student.” Hide page two without deleting the pictures, but delete the answers students would type in. The image should disappear when you do that. I recommend that you make a copy without answers and call it “student sheet” or something like that, so you don’t accidentally assign the answer key.
I did step by step your entire video & my pixel are looks good and like yours! Do we erase the answers? And how to we get this into the activity for students? I feel like I missed something or the next video?
@@SherylCain-c2p how awesome that yours looks good! Great job! My tip usually is to save your original as an answer key, make a copy and yes erase all the answers. I am having trouble getting the picture to completely cover the spaces. It always leaves a little bit of color in-between each piece. How do you get it so it doesn't show the background of the cell?

This is great! You're Fantastic! So easy to follow. I made one and I can't wait to share it with my 3rd graders. I had a little trouble with the image. I couldn't get it as fantastic as yours looks. Is there an easy way to size the image?
Awe thanks! I’m glad you were able to. Honestly, I just resize until I like it. Sometimes it works really well if you select all the rows you want to resize and right click, then choose the sizing option from there. So that they’re all exactly the same. Then you would do the same thing with the rows.
Great activity! Thanks so much! The only issue I am having is making my picture appear so there are no gaps. I followed your instructions exactly, but I still get lines in between the pieces, and then if I adjust the view (from 100% to 200% for example), the gaps change again. Any suggestions?
