For me green tree python. But luke has so meany amazing reptiles so makes it to hard
Love the GTP too Coop their beautiful. Luke’s enclosures are awesome. I’ve got a pair of Perthensis & they are so tiny compared to the the other Antaresia. As always mate awesome content cheers
Awesome video of some stunning snakes. Love Luke’s set ups!
No onpelli phyton
Beautiful enclosures - inspiring. Really don’t understand how people can keep their cages basic when they can try to replicate nature.
Absolutely! Nothing beats seeing the animals in a natural looking setup!
I use to own a stimsons python named biscuit, was from the outback region, as a kid my dad worked on the roads and used to bring back rocks from the pilbara for his enclosure, might not have been the prettiest set up but it was dam sure close to his dry natural habitat he comes from, the second i intoduced these rocks he was instantly out of his cave investigating these rocks he adored the rocks, i now own turantulas and i have found the animals you keep like a replication to what they are use to, nothing pretty but something they are genetically in touch with
First snake I got was a Childrens Python! Tbh as a juvie he was a little horror, very defensive, he's definitely chilled out as he's got older. He is something of an escape artist but a great eater, never refuses a meal!
Spoke to you at the Australian reptile park yesterday and I’m now inspired to get a snake
You guys in Australia are so lucky to have such cool reptiles over there since you can't keep anything else
awesome vid love the carpets, diamonds and childrens
They are beautiful!
I like the cricket noise but like, snakes deaf
Brilliant video, the enclosure designs are inspiring! ❤️
My favorites are the blackhead, green, diamond, and jungle Carpet pythons
Thank you guys for helping me. I have been looking for channels and other to help me on my journey. I want to volunteer and the Canberra Reptile Zoo and I need more information on Aussie animals because you only see American animals or bad things about Australia and I only really know about my snake Murray a Murray Daring Python (a very creative name I made when I was 4). So thanks again.
Great collection. Was waiting for the Macklott's pythons and Womas though.
Awesome videos Coops!! Been following Luke’s channel for a while now as well, both great Australian reptile videos.
thanks alex!
Beautiful pythons, great setups.
He has done a great job!
Awesome video and animals!
Really cool cooper and thanks to Luke awesome setups 👌👌
Glad you liked it!!
Absolutely Stunning ,,, A +++++++++++++++++++
What awesome animals
Your enclosures are beautiful Luke!
Great to see Antaresia get some love! 🤘🏻
aye thisll be sick!
Hope you like it mate!
It has always been a dream of mine to go to Australia and check out places like this. The one lizards that I NEED to see is the Thorny Devil
I have not seen them in the wild yet but thats a goal I'll get to soon finger crossed they are amazing!
@@coopsreptiles2588 of you see them play make sure to record them. Dāv Kaufman was able to find one in the wild after seeing them in captivity
@@jpslizards dont worry i will certainly film it!
@@coopsreptiles2588 I will definitely look forward for that video 😁
By the way, the place where he went was in Alice Springs Reptile Centre, I don't know if that's far from you
@@jpslizards Alice Springs is basically its own island here, surrounded by desert. Given that Coop casually travelled to Luke in Sydney my guess is he lives around 1721 miles from there, or 30hrs drive. Not that that's legal right now. Perhaps a closer zoo stocks it.
(I investigated for fun, you probably know Australia is big but it's big.)
I really like the green python
They are probably my favourite!
Great video mate 🤙🏼
Thanks :D
Really sick collection, love the updates. Can't wait to get some GTP's when I get back to Aus in the new year. Keep it up!
Best snakes! Must be exciting to come back ! Where have you been?
@@coopsreptiles2588 We've been stuck in the UK, currently in quarantine in Adelaide. Keen to get back to the real world! Keep up the great content guys!
@@hans1185 Hope it helps pass some of the time!
@@coopsreptiles2588 It's been great, thanks mate!
Great video guys. I love everyone of those species but if I could pick one to keep it would have to be the rough scaled pythons. So damn cool. They are all cool but I have a soft spot for rough scaled’s even though I’ve never seen one in the flesh. I live in Scotland and they are very rare. I don’t think I’ve ever seen any for sale.
Infact I’ve never seen or even heard of anyone in Scotland with em although I don’t doubt theres some somewhere here.
This is so cool
Thanks! Don't get to show off snakes enough!
@@coopsreptiles2588 that Sucks that you can’t show off enough snakes
I saw a children's python
God I wish we saw Water Pythons more here in the US. We do have Olive Pythons but it's hard to see if they are the smaller of the two localities, usually they are but I don't have space for a giant Olive lol. Carpets are awesome tho, one of the few pythons I want that aren't Woma lol. African pythons just don't do it for me, I'm a boa guy so the Aussie and SE Asia pythons are where it's at to me! Awesome collection.
I wish Australia would send the occassional breeding pair out to reputable breeders around the world. I remember playing with Shinglebacks in my back yard when I was a kid. They were everywhere. If you want to get one in America you're talking literally ten thousand dollars. About the only thing that's readily available at a reasonable price are Carpet Pythons.
dope video, want a bredli so bad but parents wont let me for absolutely no reason at all :( gonna have to keep trying!
Sorry to hear that! hopefully they come around eventually! Do a bunch of research and show them how responsible you can be. That should hopefully help!
I watched both of your channels many times, especially about children's python and how you decorate the enclosure, make enclosure back ground etc. even when I didn't have any snakes. I like both of your channel and found out about Antarasia snakes. They are not as popular as Corn or Ball in USA, but I liked the look, and the small size that does not intimidate me too much and their gentler temperament. Now finding out from some other RUclipsr that they are rather snappy. 😞 I got tagged and real food bite few times. Now I am a bit scared...Will he grow out of it? I hope...
Hey Coop, For my blue tongue,
Can I buy regular garden mulch from a landscaper garden shop?
Or do I need special stuff??
Also let me know what food they like
Thanks mate! :P
I use eucy mulch from bunnings. I'm going to be doing a feeding video soon so look out for that otherwise there is plenty of videos on feeding blueys here
what are the sizes of the enclosures
Hey coop just wondering if you know if a female roughie was given to the Canberra zoo about 4/5 years ago. I’ve recently got a 4/5 years old female and her back story is that she was on display at Canberra zoo. Not sure if she may have come from the reptile park too
Not sure on the exact animal but all roughies in captivity originated from wild caught stock collected by the park
That’s awesome. Thanks mate
It’s so hard to do my research on a snake to own as in Australia you can only have aussie reptiles
Hi I have 2 bluetongue lizards one looks like it has poo stuck in its bum any ideas on why its stuck my wife and I have try to clean it out but looks like theres something stuck to it like cartilage
Take it to a vet. Could be a prolapse which could kill if untreated
where abouts in victoria can u buy stimsons pythons i’ve been interested in getting a snake for a while now
Watch my latest video for some options! ruclips.net/video/MSOTm2hRWho/видео.html
Has anyone told you that you look like Mac demarco before?
hey yo im looking to get a water python do you know of any way to get a nice healthy one in NSW?
Not an animal I see available ever really.. You can probably get on a list if you ask luke but otherwise I wouldn't know sorry
Right how would I go about doing that ? Ill do anything to have a little baby water python
no womas ?
This is an old post so I highly doubt either of you will be seeing my comments. I will ask just in case though. I have watched documentaries, read books and articles and even watched a few keepers with Olive Pythons and until hearing your experiences here, I was under the impression that Olive Pythons were spicy! I know that snakes have individual personalities but it's my take that the wild ones, at least, are very prone to bite. That the breed is feisty, very defensive and not trusting. So my question is, are your statements here about your specific snake? Captive bred specimens? Or does it include the wild and wild caught animals as well? (Excluding the odd individual) Also, is your animal wild caught or is she captive bred. I would ask my husband but I don't think he knows the depth of the laws and specifics regarding them. He did tell me that though there are (invasive) documented corn snakes in the wild that if we lived there and I had one as a pet (taken from the wild or otherwise) it would be taken from me and I would have to watch the animal be destroyed (I don't know if that last bit was just to razz me or if it's that extreme). So we weill stay here with more freedom and variety ;) No one will take my snakes and usually if someone gets animals confiscated they try to rehome them if they are healthy. The police caught a guy here that had 60 some odd venomous snakes, some imported and illegally kept and they rehomed all but three (that were not healthy). My comments do not include Florida, they suck and we don't claim them hahaha (Unfortunately they live where all of the really cool animals can thrive)
All the noises in the background are just food.
Good day maybe you know me mate Mick Dundee? He’s a famous crocodile handler in the land down under.
