As a Celtics fan, why are the odds so large in Boston’s favor against a fully healthy Pacers team, and Porzingis might not play for who knows how long?
Boston's starting five is much better, and I think the Pacers have a slightly better bench. Indiana is used to having a dramatically better bench. Pacers are the best offense in the playoffs, Boston is number 2. Boston is the best defense in the playoffs, Pacers are, like, very nearly the worst. Indiana's playstyle is leveling factor, but I dont think it's a 'winning four games' amount of leveling, and I suspect that's the reasoning behind the extravagant money line.

I believe the Pacers isn't no slouch. Moreover, Rick Carliyle is a championship caliber coach. Pacers in 6 or 7 games. Celtics don't rebound well. Also, rely on Tatum and Brown too much. Both will be límited. Pacers has a better bench, size, speed and depth. Pacers VS Wolves in the NBA finals.

well to be fair, pacers journey is really easy, 1st round against an injured giannis & lillard, but still pacers had a hard time winning against them. round 2 against and injured knicks team as well, brunson carried that team, while pacers again had a hard time winning, it took them 7 games. now its gonna be different against the celtics.

First of all this is a very simplified way of looking at this series and is super focused on the teams individually and not how they work as a collective.
2nd how is Pascal and Tatum equal? This postseason siakim 21.1 pts, 7.5 rebounds, 3.5 ast,
.8 steals, and .5 blocks. Tatum 24.3 pts, 10.4 rebounds, 5.8 asts, 1 stl, and .8 blocks. For their careers Tatums numbers are also better by quite a bit.....
