I remember her from the last decade of her life. I remember visiting her brownstone near 7th Ave and 11th street IIRC. I was in college with her youngest grand-daughter in the late 80s (and ran tame in her son Klaus' house too, he was our theater tech/lighting prof) A bunch of us would run up to the city and stay in Hanya's house, talk with her, and wander the village. She was wonderful.

This lady seems so nice and down to earth. I wish I could find people this nice and well mannered in today's crazy world of 2023.

What a gift to see and hear Hanya Holm's voice, see her teaching, and creating.

How great to come across this film. Thank you, Nancy Mason Hauser and Rick Hauser. And blessings to you!

I used to dance with Erick Hawkins in the 197O's... but I began studying Modern Dance at the Munt/Brooks School Of Modern Dance in Denver, Colorado.
Al always told me that he had been to Hanya's company... what Erick had been to Martha's.
Maxine Munt... who was married to Alfred Brooks... always told me that Hanya Holm was such a horrible human being that Maxine would never think of allowing Hanya entrance into Maxine's home.

Hi Rick, I'm interested in licensing a piece of this film - is there an email where I can reach out to you and/or Nancy about that? Thank you so much! Saoirse
