- Today I will check my blow through subwoofer enclosure after a full night of rain. Then I will revise some adjustments on my CNC router table and plasma table as I fulfill all the orders from my recent "practice projects". ALSO! Limited T-Shirts just came in!

You must have your shop in a pretty nice area. In New Orleans, you'd come out in the morning to the whole truck bed being stolen if they couldn't get the sub box out.

Doug you need to start a new 'limited product' run to buy yourself a cover for the truck. Maybe you could do an image of the mule or an image of a blown voice coil out of MDF (or metal) and add some sort of comment to the design/detail (like "It's going to twist"). Installing the truck cover would give you some video content too (and based on the way we know you make videos, that's probably like 30 videos!! =)
It’s always easier to put your entire arm in once the box is nice and moist.
Why not install a tonneau cover?

The Box sounds better after getting wet? You had a dip at 60Hz if I remember correctly..the Box swelled, changed the volume of the ports/interior, and flattened the dip! Who knew swelling such a swell Box could work out so swell.

I much prefer the look of the outlined lettering on the oil pan plate to the complete cut-out, looks better, especially the letter "O" as there is uniformity with the other letters.

Hey Doug if you want to keep the consistency of the plasma after running so many pieces take the electrodes out and clean them with a wire brush to help the plasma and air go straight through without clogging the tips up it will help a lot and save you from running through a bunch of tips
Wet boxes are good for at least +3db. If you can get a pool on top of the box you can watch the sound waves when the bass hits! Something to keep Rafa's mom entertained...
If you have settings for it speed up your feed rate in intricate areas on the plasma table. Should minimize too much burn out.

Oh!... I haven't trimmed the power cable to size yet because i plan on hiding a second fuse holder in the jack hardware cubby.
What's the bet it sounds better because of the colder day, the air will be more dense, so more air molecules for sound waves to vibrate.
Get a cement mixer and put all your small parts from the plasma table into it for a cpl hrs....slag will be removed and sharp edges knocked down.
I remember when someone actually walked in the shop while Doug was air humping a hose or something 😂 Shit was fucking hilarious, you could see how embarrassed he was haha.
Doug, I dont have a cnc plasma but i do a lot of hand plasma cutting. i found the closest i can get without it grabbing the piece is always the cleanest. also slower isnt always better.

hey Doug just an idea to further upgrade your sandblasting cabinet why not add in a blow gun in side the box to help contain the dust inside the cabinet, good to hear you don't have a fish tank like Raffa
Just run the plasma at its highest amp and air pressure setting. We do the same thing in our shop all the time, leaves a nice clean backside ;)
You could bolt aluminum rails to the bottom of the box, their easy to shape. I wouldn't do anything with the top, no need to. Although a plasma cut diamond plate logo would be sick!
You could sand the faces while they’re still on the router, I’ve found it to be easier.
I ended up having to redo my box out of fiber board. My gasket formed a little leak, and I started noticing odd shaped wood chips in my truck. It probably had nothing to do, with driving like a commando on unlevel terrain. Or the fact f250s are know to twist a little, if a wheel comes off the ground.
Even being sealed everywhere, perfectly....I still don't quite understand why you don't just run some kind of bed cover?

A really good flap wheel on an angle grinder would clean those plates up very rapidly and give you a quality finish.
Slow the plasma down just a little. Always remember a wire wheel works wonders and when you really have those that stick, a grinding rock or flap disk.
A fine grit flap disk on an angle grinder would make quick work of that cleanup on the metal plates. And it's much easier than using that bench grinder.

Why havent you bought a tannoue cover or a cap of some sort for the bed of your truck? If I spent all that time and money on my box, and sub, and amp... I would try and protect it more. Like a guy said before me... Must live in a nice area. He was in new Orleans... I'm in south jersey

Hey Doug, I have a similar setup in my truck...I bought a cheap roll up cover. I also live in a lot different climate than where you are located.
I feel like a belt sander or even a belt sander attachment for your vench grinder would be faster on the cleaning up of the parta.

Doug use your spoil board as zero point for your program and factor in extra height for material difference. Can save you some time from doing leveling passes. Remember to lube Rafa's mom's hemorrhoids.

I would suggest stay at 60 amps, 45-60 psi, and just keep your eyes on your consumables. I think that would be swell.
