Bonus Comment: Grand Canyon Blue Iguana sighting 2:41, 2:49-2:53, 4:27, 4:36, 5:02-5:04, 5:09-5:10, 16:17, 16:31 “on the stump.”, 29:52 & 30:17 Me: So, There’s a Grand Canyon Blue Iguana featured on Secrets of the Zoo. Hmm… I wonder if that Dinosaur like Big Fella appeared on the other episodes of the 4 seasons on DVD? I better check them out soon. Oh & I just realized that this is episode is from the 5th Season. Somehow, Someday the 5th Season better be coming to DVD just like the other 4 Seasons. I like Grand Canyon Blue Iguanas. Just as I like their close relatives the Exuma Iguanas AKA the Northern Bahama Iguanas & the Cuban Rock Iguanas. Those Caribbean Iguanas looked very Prehistoric looking.

Those Iguanas on this program. If I didn’t know any better but I think they might be 2 different species. The one that was given a medical checkup was a Black Spiny Tailed Iguana. The other one that is slightly larger must be a Grand Cayman Blue Iguana. At least I think that’s what that Larger Iguana is. Like I know different Iguanas when I see them. As much as other different Reptiles.

I'm so sorry, goodbyes are never easy. You know that in time you will be able to open up yourself to have a love again with another animal that Steel you're heart again. I am sorry.

The last straw for me watching this show was when a happy little goat named Kiko went in for a simple checkup and died minutes after the checkup from cardiac arrest. This kind of thing was happening too often on this show. If these animals could speak, they would be talking 'Malpractice.'

What kind of malpractice do you think is occurring at an aza accredited facility that would cause a goat to go into cardiac arrest? Why is that more likely than say, stress from a routine medical procedure triggering a previously unknown heart abnormality resulting in cardiac arrest? Like sometimes, bad things happen despite perfect husbandry. And the husbandry IS perfect, or at least close to it. AZA accreditation is extraordinarily difficult to get and easy to lose (as demonstrated by the fact that the columbus zoo recently lost (noy for husbandry reasons) and then regained accreditation).

Really? They belong in the WILD!

we are destroying the wild to the point they can't be there. Would you rather we let them die completely?

They will have longer, less stressful lives being cared for.
And most of them were born in zoos.
They wouldn’t have a chance in the wild.

Most of these animals have longer, healthier lives than they would in the wild. Bodega, Munster and Boss are all alive because they've got humans looking after them, in the wild all three of them would be dead now.
