Yeh, top bloke and character, miss the surfing live!
Love Burleigh! And his lines on that wave!
A definite charger from that era. Remember footage from Hot Buttered at Angorie🎉
What a great ripping style. True legend of surf. Respect. Sincere condolences to the Deane family and his many friends.
He was a nice bloke and a good surfer. RIP.
He was a great surfer
I remember an image of Wayne when he was at Bells from way back in 197? ( not sure) . He was at the top of the heap in pro surfing back then but still an 'underDog" which made me like him more . He was carrying a board with "the dog" sprayed on the bottom graffiti style . He was so cool .
He absolutely ripped . The cutback he pulls in this video at 1:08 is still an elite turn by any measure . RIP Mr Deane .
Ripp remember.. how.. good he was.. he draw lines like Picasso. ❤ mr dj christo.
RIP Wayne😔
Love that soundtrack. Who is playing?
Pete Wells mate, “Between the Saddle & the Ground” is the tune from a solo album of his. He was lead guitar for Rose Tattoo, epic guitarist and songwriter. Perfect tune for this great man 😉
The true King of Kirra (not that other bloke who gets all the attention).
