    Thank u for ur video.
    Law needs u not only to be organized, but be able to filter through what is necessary and unnecessary. It's the one degree/ career where the phrase "study/work smart" is everything.
    The reading is a life skill. U get faster with time and if anything, it will improve ur thinking, how to structure thoughts or what u want to say.
    I really think it's a good degree if u have a good plan. I hope I will add an MBA to it in a couple years.

    The selling of dreams happens with ALL qualifications.
    I work at a "big" firm and didn't jump into getting a LLB because I felt that people go into it without doing proper research. There are many careers that one can venture into using the LLB qualification. I only started with my LLB after getting my diploma in law and doing my research. Believe it or not, I DO NOT WANT TO WORK AT A LAW FIRM with this qualification because I hate litigation. I work as a Paralegal full time and am studying 2nd year at Unisa.

    One question: what are the actual skills needed to be a lawyer?

    • @LindiweMabesa
      @LindiweMabesa  4 дня назад +1

      Hey it depends on what typa lawyer you wanna be, but just love to read because you will alwayssssss read and you won’t stop learning. I’d say be observant, pay attention to detail. Be emotional intelligent because some days are good and some days are bad. Be organised because the workload is too much so if you’re a procrastinator you’ll always fall behind. Be well spoken and always be teachable. I’m not a lawyer but that’s what I’ve seen from lawyers I work with
