I liked the last episode “things change” but having Slade in it didn’t really serve any purpose other than adding another small fight scene with beast boy and to leave viewers with a lot more questions. The ending of the episode was very powerful though IMO.
I'm sure for quite a few people...like myself..Slade from Teen Titans was our first look at Deathstroke. I will say that while he didn't have the same arsenal we see him have in other media or even other animated features..he nailed a rather creepy mastermind vibe that I rather liked.
Slade Wilson of the DCU is a merciless superpowered human former assassin who served in the military and got his equipment and enhancements from the military and who kills people regardless and is only concerned for the well being of his family and friends and has a very heroically noble personal code. Slade of Warner Bros Teen Titans television series is a human weapons thief commanding HIVE Academy whose full superpowers are unexplored as is his equipment and his armies who specifically wants Robin and nothing else. Slade of the Warner Bros Teen Titans television series would actually hire Slade Wilson of the DCU if they everso shared an existence. Yes they are both named Slade. Old-school Deadpool was MUCH better than the stupid ass pop-culture Looney Tunes that we see today. I mean he was always kind of wacky and zaney, but he was also kind of creepy and extremely dangerous. When he used to be evil, you were lucky to have somebody like Wolverine or Cable with you to fight him off.
yeah but at the same time he wasnt that special, he was more Deathstrokey, It was a smart move making him a parody of deathstroke but I personally do not like the character
Slade/Deathstroke is one of the most badass cartoon villains of all time. I'm 14, and i still get chills watching certain episodes of Teen Titans (2003). Which is why i want TTG to burn in the firey depths of hell for ruining him.
His design in Teen Titans and Young Justice was badass. Same for the voices of both. Ron Perlman was my favorite voice for him though. I also really liked Miller's voice for him too.
It was decent at best. I don't know why people get so hyped for a character who gets fucked over by the writers all the time. He'll be a punching bag... just wait and see.
Not only is Ron Perlman's voice work amazing, he looks exactly like Slade Wilson does in the comics! He should play him in live action. No other version will ever top his, that's for sure.
I can't help but see this as de-evolution, slade during Teen Titans from design to Ron's VA was arguably perfect, but the list onwards it's so and so, even with ron coming with the voice again, I would say it's partly due to the other sound effect they gave to slade in TT run, there was a subtle echo in his voice given he always spoke from a metal mask.
The IgnitedBlade199 Maybe so...but it was a kids cartoon at the time. the Teen Titans was an interesting character that didn't need him to be an assassin to be cool.
Bruce Banana Just because they were complex characters, so we're Teen Titans doesn't mean embargoes and regulations affect how cartoons intended for children or all ages are viewed. (Batman the Animated Series, Spider-Man the animated series, etc). Teen Titans never talked down to kids and had complex characters but that doesn't mean it had to meet standards. Slade/Deathstroke in Teen Titans cartoon didn't need to be a assassin for hire to be a complex character or the character who affected the Titans the way they did. Comparing it to the DCAU doesn't make sense or affect the argument by any means.
My fave part of justice league was when flash and superman had a race and the death stroke and lex luthor credit scene where they make the league of doom
If Deathstroke made his live-action debut in one of the 1990s Batman films (if they were made the right way), and then would have his own solo movie; I would have to say that Dolph Lundgren would have been the best casting choice for Slade Wilson/Deathstroke. Would anyone agree??
Elias Gibson the people who Watch 2003 Teen Titans cartoon fans never look the history of Slade or the comic. The show is far off what the Titans suppose to be. I image if Teen Titans got a reboot with the same tone of Marv Wolfman run. The 2003 fans will complain isn't accreted but it is.
I admit, the second Slaide appeared In Teen Titans (which I'm surprised to see was his debut), I immediately became interested in the show, as I went from thinking the show was an interesting, but still funny show, to "OH MY GOD, I'm on the edge of my fucking seat."

Do evolution of parademons
Teen titans slade was the definition of badass
Ounaies Abderahmen no joke
Ounaies Abderahmen his name deathstoke
Slade in teen titans was scary asf
@Leon Russell they put slade because deathstroke was a dark name for kids
Except teen titans go
Teen Titans Deserves a real Ending. Especially with Ron Perlman as Deathstroke.
J Turner Either as a direct-to-video animated movie, or a mini-season like Samurai Jack had.
Trouble in Toyko really isn't a good ending though.

Kyle Braithwaite It was but not in a good way.
J Turner it had three endings. One inTokyo, one with beast boy and Terra and one as a big finally.

same.
Ron Perlman is to Slade what Mark Hamill is to The Joker
At what part is it Ron Perlman?
The first clip
And what Michael Ironside is to Darkseid. ;)
yup
I just wish they actually called him Deathstroke in Teen titans.
Ron Perlman is awesome as Deathstroke
ReverendLuc - He also is the voice actor and the person who plays Rust in Payday 2!
the guy they had in the first Injustice was awesome as deathstroke as well i can't remember his name but i know him from star trek ds9
ReverendLuc ,
ReverendLuc
I couldn't agree more with you.
ReverendLuc I really do agree
Ron Pearlman would have been perfect as a live action Deathstroke, just let all the stunts be done by someone in the mask.
I know! Hell, Ron even looks a lot like Slade Wilson! God, that would've made Suicide squad better.
Ron for the acting
Ray Park for the stunts
Dr. Madd yes.
Dr. Madd pruuuune
@@Brainwave101 or Scott Adkins for the stunts
Who agrees with me on this?
Ron Pearlman is The Best Slade Wilson (Deathstroke) ever!
EricFeraligatr27 // SSLYT desthstroke Is dead and he’s alive
No a in perlman
Captain cold was close 2nd for me
EricFeraligatr27 - TheBlueKirby he has the best voice but not the best Deathstroke.
You know, Ron Pearlman also does live-action acting. How cool would it have been to see Ron playing Deathstroke in Suicide Squad?
Slade Wilson is a badass...but he is defeated by Damian....really?
Yeah I'm sorry but Deathstroke could absolutely kick his ass. That's why I kind of dismiss those movies
But Damian was trained by assassins Rashid's ghoul also trained him and batman so it could happen
Damian was trained and raised by the League of Assassins. So it's not that weird.
Ra's could probably beat Slade too.
@@BullseyeRey So at this point every child can defeatd the number one assasin of DC?

5:23 2 EYES! OH ITS HORRIFYING
No matter who plays Slade next, they will never outmatch Ron Perlman’s cool and sinister voice
Why do I like Deathstroke more than Deadpool. Tell why because Deadpool act like Anti-hero version of Freakazoid while Deathstroke is real Terminator.
And me😂😂😂.
Michael Brent Hes the original badass.
being first has nothing to do with it. Plenty of characters based on others are better, I just find Deadpool annoying

3:14 that's awesome Ron returned as deathstroke.
Almost 20 years later, Ron Perlman's take on Deathstroke still remains head and shoulders above the rest.
Deathstroke (Slade Wilson) is one of my favorite DC Comics Villains!!!!!!!!!!

I hope that, if Deathstroke returns in Young Justice, they cut off his pony tail. It just looks stupid.
Mac Jameson Not really. It works for that version tbh.
He does, they have
I dunno, I kinda like it.
He cut it off
They did, and he looks badass, well it is based on the Judas Contract outfit but still, badass.
Looking forward to Mr. Freeze also.
1:31 couldn’t make me stop laughing
Ron Perlman is literally the only reason I started liking Slade.
He is by far one of my favorite villains

Slade Wilson • ᴅᴇᴀᴛʜsᴛʀᴏᴋᴇ Know why would you say that to yourself.
Brandon Murrell its a easter egg he might be in the next Zac Snyder film
In Snyder's original cut, we were gonna see Deathstroke break Alex out of prison. WTF WB?! We could've seen Slade in action.

The IgnitedBlade199 Maybe so...but it was a kids cartoon at the time. the Teen Titans was an interesting character that didn't need him to be an assassin to be cool.
Micheal Mah'moud that's not a good excuse. DCUA have complex characters compare to the Teen Titans, and DCUA never talks down to kids.

Teen Titans Ron Perlman is badass. Wish all kids cartoon villains could be like him. P.S. 4:11 is still Teen Titans, Not the Teen Titans Go
It is from Teen Titans Go. There was an episode where they basically abridged Divide and Conquer. It was called Capes, I think.
He's one of the best villains ever and in no way Damian can defeat him.
It's ridiculous how someone stated that he can use more than 90% of the human brain yet still a punch bag
