Mob Entertainment just released a new ARG teaser related to Poppy Playtime Chapter 3. POPPY PLAYTIME ALL CHARACTERS Chapter 1-2. The new trailer for Poppy Playtime Chapter 3 released so we NEED to talk about it. Because their kickstarter ended up in epic fail and only gathered 400 dollars.
At the very beginning, Catnap is always sleeping yet nothing out of the ordinary. But as the episodes continue Catnap becomes more and more eerie? Like he's distancing or observing more than actually participating with his friends to the point that its odd.

Fun fact about Catnap:
As hes a cat and we see him sleep during the day, it's accurate to real life cats. If some people remember or know, that cats actually stay awaken during night
Catnap sleeping in a lot of unused artwork? It makes sense since many felines are nocturnal and Catnap is meant to be the guardian of sleep in Smiling Critters, staying awake to watch over his friends while they rest. I would love to get a little fan made episode at the very least of the Smiling Critters show, maybe show some secondary characters from this universe too. I know that there have been a plethora of fan-made critters concepts popping up over the past few months, and that is just from GamerJoob; that doesn't take nearly enough of a small fraction of the total Poppy Playtime fandom.

I like to imagine that catnap is suppost to present as lazy and calm, but acts as a baby monitor during the night, helping the critters sleep (probably not with ghe red smoke) and comforting them from nightmares; tbh this version of catnap gives me stoner vibe

If they are actually making a show, I feel like it might be like don’t hug me I’m scared. Like for example the critters could be in a normal episode and near the end something disturbing could happen or some lore could be revealed.
I prefer the plushies at 0:42 to the later ones.

For me, the amount of smiling critters is a bit strange. If we dont count Catnap, we have 7, and as we know, 7 is a really interesting number. 7 deadly sins, 7 virtues, 7 years of bad luck, etc. For quite some time, i think i began to see some correlations betweens the critters and the 7 virtues. Tho, im not sure it can add any interesting theories to the game history. :(

Ok smiling critters is a kids show, I'll respect that, But the point of those types of show is to teach children something new, In Smiling critters there is never a lesson at the end, I even saw that someone said that there would be alot of lore to uncover if this was a show, (the guy at the top of the comment section) Why the heck would a show for the 80's have lore?
