So I guess cupcakes are smaller in New Zealand than they are in America? I'm fairly adept at baking, so was able to adjust the cooking times. ☺ The flavour is absolutely top notch! Even the ones I accidentally overbaked were super-moist. I doubled the frosting recipe, and had the perfect for a single "rose style" pipe on each of my 62 cupcakes.

Oh and a side note, today I DIDN'T use my hand mixer and went with the stand mixer and it worked awesome. ;-) It did me well making bread yesterday too. OH and I just bought a food grinder attachment, now to figure out why. LOL
I guess it will come as no surprise that I have been thinking of you today. Watching this I am wondering how I missed those colorful eggs in the past! Are those your own? They sure are beautiful. I have a question for you. I noticed today that my cookie sheets seem to scratch very easily. The backs of them are scraped severely just from going in and out of the oven, and they don't get anywhere near the usage that yours get. Another great video, but no surprise there. I've got a lot of snickerdoodles to eat, who knows what I will make after they are gone. Keep up the good work.

Molasses is critical for the right flavor here, so I don't recommend it 🙁

I typically leave it out for about two days, but you can do whatever you're comfortable with. Yes you can!
