First time I heard of them was 5 years ago when they appeared on albums by both Leftfield and The Prodigy, from there I had to check out their back catalogue, they're great.

Saw them live last night at the Teragram in Los Angeles, a couple of 50 YOs on stage with only a laptop on milk crates, yet able to produce the energy of the sun on stage. Amazing set.
And they just keep getting better :)
What's really amazing is that all is old punks and freaks decided to say fuck the whole scene being music by 20 year old for 20 year olds, used to be if you weren't in some band that was already epic and followed, you were done and over. Now I see great punk and post punk style.stuff being done by all ages, really cool.

I'm well chuffed to find out that the proper old British punk, with its unique accent and raw lyrics, is still going strong. I'm 49 years old and I'm feeling like I'm 17 again, when I used to go to record shops to 'sift through' the imports, which was proper difficult here in Brazil in the 80s. Greetings from a happy Brazilian who's buzzin' to discover you lads, and here's to punk livin' a long life!

I'm 53 and a half :) and I'm from the Czech Republic :))), I didn't know them, I read his interview in the newspaper, they have to perform at our summer festival, if there will be a fantastic person, after listening to approx. 50 songs here, I have to say fantastic music ... and in some songs, I remembered the German D.A.F in terms of sound, but it's not important :)

I’ve been looking for more music like Andrew’s beats for years - anyone have any suggestions? I know Andrew released a sorta housey solo album years and years ago and it was enjoyable but it didn’t scratch the same itch. I love how the mods beats are so minimalist while also having their own depth to them.

I met some bloke in a pub in Australia who used to hang around with Sean Ryder from the happy Mondays. He looked battered from years of drugs and booze but he was like an Encyclopedia regarding English music. He put me onto these guys and I they are now my favourite jam!

Wow! Here I have been living in India for the past 15 years.... and my 60 something Jewish artist friend from New York, living nearby, sends me a link to this,. Stunning work. Punk was an important influence and to hear this fresh and original work is exciting. He lives in a very shabby part of town and I can't help but think that he is channelling his love of that place through this song.
The most punk thing I see here is you guys actually personally respond to your fans comments on RUclips. Even if it's just saying thank you. It's hands on. You do it yourself. Yea I'm a fan.

I' m now 56 ..coming BACK for another fix of the Sleaford Mods & Billy Lots of Mates ;) have been in hospital ( now in respite) for 11long months ( I have MS) I caught C ovid in hospital last September & nearly died..This band. along with some of my favourite old punk ..mixed with a bit of Iggy ,& Joy Division have got me through 11months locked up in a room like being in prison..music is medicine for the soul ❤

I didn't think I'd be a big fan of Sleaford Mods at first but I got that Jools performance of Jobseeker stuck in my head a few years back and never looked back. Didn't know these guys existed until I saw the Orbital collab about 20 mins ago, and I only saw that because a friend happened to post it on FB while I happened to be logged in, which is a rare occurrence. It always amazes me how much good music out there, hidden in the nooks and crannies...sometimes the only way to run into it is through dumb luck.

One of the only bands that keeps getting better. I thought their sound might have got a bit stale and one dimensional by now, but they keep finding subtle ways of keeping it interesting. Also appreciate that they didn't do the obvious lockdown/pandemic track. This new song actually made me forget about all that for a few minutes. Great stuff and looking forward to the album.
