Thay use of drum machines and gang of 4'ish guitars has inspired me to keep on trying to find the right vibe. Just isn't the same when you aren't in a room with your pals. The way things are going it's going to be more political rather than psychedelic, right to the message! 🙌 Cheers folks ✌️

WTF was that! 2015 went to Manchester academy to see em, hello to Andrew Fearn at the bar who then pointed Jason Williamson out and I waltzed over and said alright to him and ‘ where the fuck have you been for’t last 20 year!!!! Absolutely lovely fellas to chat to , been on with everything they’ve produced since then, and it’s rare to find a band that can maintain that feel and impact in people, love ya lads QC SMARMY

I like that they’re female vocals as well, and what’s badass is that it at first feels like a sweet contrast to the main vocal but then smacks you in the face with ferocity.

Andrew Fearn is a fucking minimalist genius! One waveform, some cutoff, resonance and a drum track and you get the feel that this song could deliver it's message through a brick wall. Oh yeah, Jason Williamson is not bad either - I also don't smoke. 😁
I wish my brain could work like that instead of all the fiddly nonsense that it carries on with, although I guess that's why l love a masterfully minimalistic tune. If someone adds a bit of thoughtful lyricism then it's a grand day out.

This is one of the most important EDM, electronica, big beat, minimalist pieces of recent times. This sets a new standard. The performance from each protagonist is exceptional. The beats and baselines laid down are hypnotic and seductive. The contrasting lyrics are seminal. The voices are exceptional. The ending, with its delicate considerations, is life-affirming.
I have only ‘discovered’ Sleaford Mods relatively recently and I am grateful for it - my life is enriched with such cult classics as ‘Force 10’ and ‘Mork and Mindy’, ‘Kebab Spider’, ‘bhs’, ‘Jobseeker’ and ‘TCR’ to name but a few. Andrew, Jason - you clearly bring the best out in each other - please carry on. And you clearly bring the best out of those with whom you collaborate - again, more please!
