Just picked this up off Ebay as it was included with the Front Line FC game I bought. Didn't know this was an arcade game first, and I do tend to collect a lot of arcade ports (if they aren't expensive as hell that is), along with the console exclusive games I buy for my retro consoles.
Oh my god one of my favorite games, i was looking for this again it took me ages haha thanks ;) One of the reasons why i loved the game is that you could use support like tanks/soldiers/heli to help :D
This reminds me of the game mode precinct assault in the game future shop LAPD (PC/MAC/PS1) Definitely love that game and have been playing it since release of the demo on my old iMac and have been playing field combat since even longer. Classics!

One of mine favorite nes games as a child along with contra mighty bomb jack and super Mario bros 1 field combat is the first video games that I completed and I was so proud of completing the game also I always loved that u can summon an army to help the game is still addicting to me even to this day
this game was fantastic..love to play this when i was a child...tanks for the memories.. i almost forget bout this game and the title..

Sí no me equivoco, nosotros seríamos una fuerza alienigena vs humanos pues al inicio no tenemos unidades hasta que logramos succionarlos y hacer que ahora formen parte de nuestro ejercito. Los humanos en cada partida al destruir sus unidades se dan por vencido (bandera blanca)

Looks like a great classic game but not sure how it's supposed to be played. When do you use that tractor beam as opposed to shooting your targets? What's the purpose of the status bar at the bottom with a tank, a soldier, a spaceship in it? Looks like there's more to it than just your average "shoot and move" game.
