Hey Rob, awesome video as always! I live in New Caledonia and i recently found a lost tuna 120 underwater. Kind of a lot of growth on it (a year underwater maybe). I plan to powerwash it then dismantle it and make a white vinegar bath. Do you think it is a good plan? Thanks a lot!
Best is to completely dissemble the parts as we did in this video. Main thing to check is the aluminum barrel. The last thing you need is for that to collapse while under load. The spear will have deteriorated and probably the bands. Send us pics if you want and, good luck.

It will be impossible to find the owner so i'll try my best. For now, i'm planning to change the spear and the bands at least. How can i send you pictures?

Great story 👍 you must seal the muzzle and handle in the barrel somehow to stop water ingress, what do you use to seal the barrel ends?
The barrel ends have plugs and the small void in the muzzle and handle can drain water out.
