"I've had bigger movements in the morning than that"
Best comment out there
Thanks to Cade Media for leaving that in, I thought you'd edit me out for sure! Great event with an awesome crowd!

Those ~2012 era SuperSixes are the pinnacle of road bikes. A couple had them in my club, I instantly fell in love - I had never, and have never, seen a nicer proportioned bike. And £4k retail bought you south of 6.5kg. The pinnacle of road bikes!
i think the canyon ultimate goes well in it's footsteps, but for sure those SuperSixes are the GOAT
They did have limited tyre clearance though. The updated version (so the last Supersix with "traditional" geometry) is truly a fantastic bike, still great today.
@@Marti-234I have the old shape (horizontal top tube, non-dropped seat stays) but with disc brakes from 2019. I’ve been lusting over SuperSixes for years so had to pick one up (second hand) before they were all gone and the only thing around would be the newer styling. Also in light blue, so avoided some of Cannondale’s less appealing styling/colour choices 🫣
The extreme difficulty in finding one of those bikes that does not have a repaired chain or seat stay would suggest to me that they were, in fact, not the pinnacle of road bikes. Good looking, though.
Worth a watch just for the Chris Hall riff edits
🎸
It's really great that as the channel and its content evolve, we still get to see old friends popping up once in a while :)

Glad this popped up on my feed, enjoyed this a lot!
The last guy is hilarious. Give him his own channel.
Not sure if you're joking or not. If you're not, he has one - Chris Hall Rides
@@chrisrye13 I did not know that. Thanks for sharing.
Rim brakes just make the most sense if you want your BEST road bike experience and performances.
Fun to watch! Keep it up
Paw paw, paw paw nice edit, I loved it❤
bow bow!
Cool, the production slr10 weighed 4.88kg when launched, complete with both chainrings mechs etc, would love to see what a hill climb version of one of those could be with cut drops, no front mech/outer ring etc I reckon sun 5kg with pedals should be possible
love these vids! 👏
The chap that men
ioned that ge saved a ton of weight with titanium bolts was stretching it a bit. I did that on a previous build and the weight saving was very marginal for $$$. Chris's bike was very light for a disc build and very multi-purpose.
can someone ID that veste or jacket at 01:39? i knitted myself a pullunder in the classic la vie claire scheme and i kinda dig that one.
Posted a couple of replies, but they have vanished? My gillet at 1:39. Get in touch?
It is our group jersey for Allithwaite #5. It is very much inspired by the Mondrian design of the La Vie Claire. I think I have some gilets and jerseys kicking about
@@jonathanthorburn7416 if the replies had links in them, youtube filters them as anti-spam
How much does the custom bike starting at timestamp 5:05 weigh? With 860g wheels it must be light!
5.38kg according to the weighing from the full video
Saw it in FB, it's 6.2 kg
Me lookin at my steel touring bike like it needs a diet
28kg loaded!
If I travel to the UK from the US and brought my bike, would I be allowed to participate?
I have friends there I can stay with for the short race season and would love opportunity just for the experience alone!
So many EEFakes! Cane-Creek must be getting some more sales thanks to aliexpress!
But....was it an aero gimp suit ??
That thumbnail though 😮😂
4.5kgs?! Gosh...
Hopefully those scales were calibrated right.
My grandmother had to stop watching this video, she tried to watch it next to me, but she stood up, repeating the words
" Food! Please, food! Please, could somebody cook a proper meal for this skinny riders! WW2 is over! There's plenty of food in the UK! 😂🤣👍‼️
I’m honestly shocked there were several people spending a fortune to save 10 grams but nobody was saying one of the best upgrades I ever made until the last bike. Berd spokes!
Guys please help, where can I buy the boy's bike? Looks so cool
Why they do all that stupid things with the bike? if the winner won with a full handle bar and disc brakes.
Its obviously not a rule that the lightest bike will win. The whole "as light as possible" thing is mostly a challenge and they're doing for the fun of it I guess. Just like people who modify their cars for the fun of it.
The winner's name is Andrew Feather. That says it all. Hill climbing favours lighter people.
Because it's part of the fun.
First dude kind of said it why.
@@successshampoo he was a nutta
next time take another scale, this scale sucks and always shows the wrong weights! every kitchen scale or baggage scale is better! i am surprised there was no bike near the 4 kg, it would be possible without chopping and drilling
Taking things too far 😭
not taking things to far but rather focusing on the wrong thing. the lightest bike did not win the best rider did
@@phililpbbut if you’re not he best rider you might win with a lighter bike
@@rob-c. not if your body is 3kg heavier than the next bloke
@@phililpb oh yeah sure you're right if they just focused on the right things theyd be able to beat Andrew Feather. Why didnt they think of that? *facepalm*
andrew feather could beat every single one of these people riding a rusty bike he found in a creek. That's not the point. They're not trying to beat andrew feather, theyre trying to go as fast as THEY possibly can.
@@Hephera yes that’s why some of them dope also
First?
That’s crazy bro
