I started having gallbladder symptoms after a year of intermittent fasting 19/5. An ultrasound showed a 14mm stone.
I’d been eating a lot of dairy, too (I had an ice cream thing) and I just read that dairy products contain a lot of estrogen. I also read that eggs can be irritating to the gallbladder (nothing to do with cholesterol). I’m cutting out dairy and eggs for a while.
I love fasting, and losing the rest of the weight would probably help more than anything, but I’m a little nervous, because studies show 10-20 hour fasts can cause gallstones.
Taking TUDCA does really help with symptoms. I also take magnesium malate.

Wish I'd heard this 25+ years ago. I was thin but had a horrible diet of fried EVERYTHING! Eventually the gallbladder became chronically inflamed.

thank you for this video.. so i have been on a plant based diet with lots of fiber for about 5 years.. drink plenty of water.. about 8 to 10 glasses a day.. i am a healthy weight..maybe a little on the thin side.. 3 months ago i had a severe gb attack that sent me to the er.. it was my 1st one ever.. of course my doctor wants me to have gb removed but i want to save it.. i have had 2 US that said multiple stones and sludge.. i started taking bile salts and gold coin grass to help dissolve the stones and i did 2 cleanses.. tonnes of stuff came out and i think there were stones.. i am wondering if cholesterol stones are squishy or hard??? what came out was pea sized green "stones"...i am not sure if these were stones or just olive oil "rounds"?? anyways ust yesterday ihad an MRI.. it is showing 2 stones in the fundus and 1 possible stone in neck of gb.. this is likely the one causing issues.. i have very little pain since my cleanses but had recent flare up of epigastric pain .. just in upper abdomen.. not on right side or back like my original attack.. anyways.. the stones measured 12 mm ..the report did not indicate whether stones were cholesterol or calcium based.. do you think it is still possible to save my gb? any other ideas? i have read about shock wave therapy and ERCP.. but these carry risks as does surgery.. any input would be appeciated,

She never replied 😢 Did the stones dissolve?

@@Miri87 thank you for asking.. they did not dissolve but i have had no further issues..so whatever i passed with the cleanses were not stones.. i was relieved to know i only have 2 stones and they are really too large to get into the ducts so i am not too concerned at this point. i think i just needed to thin my bile which i did with the bile salts and then the stones moved to the bottom or fundus of gb.. so i am happy i saved my gb as it is precious...it has a large role in detoxing our bodies .. and helping us absorb fat soluble vitamins like D E K and A ..I knew that which is why i worked so hard to save it.. i have a friend who had gb out several yrs ago and she CANNOT get her vit D level up despite her working so hard to do so.. she ended up with breast cancer and it is a known fact that those with cancer have low vit d levels.. So all that being said.. if at all possible keep your gb but you must be kind to your body and not overload with bad fats..

@@lorawilliams346 There is a gallbladder cleanse someone spoke of on one of Dr. Berg's videos... beetroot/carrot/apple/ginger juice on an empty stomach in the morning for 3 weeks. Have you ever heard/tried it? Also, how are you doing now... any recent flare ups or all is well?

This is why people should always have an ultrasound before trying a cleanse or flush. You need to know the size of the stones. A cleanse is good if you have a bunch of tiny stones, but the ducts are only 6mm wide. If your stones are 5-7mm, for example, they could get stuck, which could be serious. I have one 14mm stone, so a flush wouldn’t help.

Bowels do NOT need any fiber. Just needs good fats along with good acid and bile production.
