This type of vessel is not exactly a motor yacht, and not exactly a sailboat. It's a COMBINATION of the two. Hence...they're specifically called a MOTOR-SAILOR. Those of us who have been fortunate enough to sail the seas & sail racing yachts call them... Clam Crushers. A bit slow & doesn't handle as well compared to many yachts designed specifically to SAIL, and under power, doesn't have the range of many motor yachts; however, with a bit of wind the range is unlimited, along with the comfort of a motor yacht. I lived on my 36ft. sailboat for over a decade. Living aboard this particular vessel would be like moving from an apartment into a mansion....which will also transport you damn near anywhere in the world.

I've been forced to stay in Turkey for repairs I didn't need. That is till I left for 2 days and my main mass was cut down. I've been chasted thru the straights thru Morocco. My dream girl she is just over 170' I was taken off my yacht by US coast guard for having, a bakers container of poppie seeds for when my chief baked fresh bread and rolls daily, he topped them with poppie seeds. The coast guard captain . Charged the seeds like they were herion.. so in international waters, they took me. And left my yacht..with the crew...she in malta. Mag owner, heuf ner, play boy. Paided everyone off to Jack my boat at sea. And, she was amazing..4storys, 170 feet plus.. I never wanted to see land.
You know, this is probably the most honest arrangement. Most sail design yachts owners motor more than they care to admit. This design allows you to motor and augment with sail or if the conditions permit sail only. In either case you save fuel and if you every find yourself with a total engine failure or a WWIII where fuel is no where to be found then you can still sail without any generator luxuries. You would need flashlights but you could do it. lol Joy showers and can foods. Short of a disaster like that it has a lot of room is impressive to the eye.

The 2 masted setup is not very appealing to my eye but i love the hull and how it comes together as a whole! Seem like a perfect living cruiser.. sleep in while the crew takes her out.. wake up to the boat leaning and one would hear the water on the hull..
If you guys ever want to build and donate a smaller version for a disabled family man I'm definitely in the market your workmanship is stunning I just hope that they have enough sense to appreciate such a build an outstanding lady fit for any billionaires pocket
I wonder about stability.. Sailboats tend to keep it low to the deck. I've never seen a sail boat that towers like a motor boat. Must have a feirce keel on this one.
Looking at the sail plan vs the size, this is most likely not a sailboat, but a motorsailer. Nothing wrong with that I hasten to add, just to set expectations.
if she sails well , has a comfortable move in adverse weather , behaves well at anchor has a good secure engineering , why care about the personal view on the interior , adapt it ;
