I am in the stock market since 1984 .. your video refreshed my memory about this reliance episode .. this was one of the battle between Gujarati entrepreneurs and Marwari stock brokers ...there were rumours at that time ..mr Aditya Vikram Birla was actively supporting MM to bring down reliance industries since reliance was gaining market share in textile industries from Birlas

Things were totally different at that time ...there was no SEBI ..brokers used to be God of stock markets at that time.. lot of manipulation’s... no control no limits...in April 1992 share of Andhra cement rose rs 180 from rs 18 in a single day because of the entry of Harshad Mehta .. he was worshipped like god.. I still remember the statement he made at the time of 1992 budget by fm Manmohan Singh ...”India is a turnaround scrip on global stock market” he was mare famous than all the Bollywood stars..one peon in psu bank got two allotments in Kotak Mahindra finance shares and made 2.80 lacs on them ..he quit his government job and entered stock market full time .. there are many more such incidents
He also coined the theory of “replacement cost” to jack up the price of ACC ten times in less than a year

Mr. Kar, what I fail to understand is when Mukesh Ambani learnt so much from his father and could withstand adverse market shocks and prosper and took his companies to new highs, exactly at the same time, his younger brother fell to new lows. What can be the reasons?
...because his brother was more interested in laundia bazi...he rested on his father's laurels and never made an effort to understand business strategies. First his wife Tina who was practically, every film stars girlfriend as she also was attracted to money without work and hence settled for the younger brother, second was Shushmita. So living such a colorful life, he has to fall somewhere. Trust that answers your question
Lack of attention to business. Anil was equally or more interested in fame and Page 3 activities. He was not as focussed as Mukesh Ambani. Mukesh has done so much hard work to refine himself which Anil couldn't do.
Anil went into the wrong route and his Bollywood wife was attracted to limelight, and he fell in the trap and could not focus in the business.

I'm proud of Mota Bhai...that Manu Manik deserved to have gone bankrupt. He really deserved to be on the footpath. The other day I was hearing someone speak about his current status and there was no information about him. I feel Mukesh has shut him off completely from any business. He so deserved ever bit of his debacle

Today's time also, especially after the lock-down from March 2020, various operators of those scam days are very much active in the market and they are doing the activities of pumping the market and then dumping and the new investors who have entered during this lock down do not understand their games get cheated.
Otherwise, when the economy is in shambles, the market cannot show such higher levels.
Common investors like us should be very careful and should not fall prey to quick gains but should go for fundamentally sound companies.
Ironically enough, the market blood-pressure is very high and after some medication, it may come down to normal.
But during this process, small investors will get his fingers burnt.
I think that market will correct itself very soon and this bubble will burst in near future.
