Bcz in option and futures u only speculate whether the spot price will go up or down. So basically to gain profit the spot price should move. And to make spot price move u have to buy or sell the shares. So didn't the bears too loose if they sell share till the low price.?? @abhishekkar

I agree with you but there are some contradictions with your opinion too. You told that Indian Market went up 247% between 1991 and 1992 because of HM. In this one year of time you can imagine how much respect India gain globally as there were almost few competetors economically. Our assets grown up by 2.47 times. India came into the picture from microscopic scanners. We have gained name and fame globally. Who was the man behind the scene? The one and only Big B. Who had to fought MM and several other bears. If our Government would have engaged the Big B to reconstruct our economy, by this time we would for sure overcome China. He was the only better clever person in the word by that time. Government should have made him the consultant to find out the loop holes of global economy to move India ahead. Alas, we are innocent, that's our fault.
