Does it allow cv control of the start/end of the recording? That would be a great help in seamless looping… Edit- I’ve just rewatched this and it seems that it does. I may have to buy it now!
Great demo, thanks! A question - I have this module and the one thing that holds me back from using it more is finding out how to time the record on and record off. It seems like in the video you turn down the sound to make sure there's no input at the loop point for each layer so there's nothing to hear. Is that right / do you have any other advice for seamless looping?
Thanks! Depending on what kind of music you are making, that's a good trick to make seamless loops. Alternatively, you can trigger the record on/off in time with your sequence. Some sounds might be easier to loop so it's a matter of practicing and find what works best.
I'm planning out my first eurorack and trying to keep it simple to start (best intentions, right?) and I feel like Loop is a great way to make a small set-up sound much bigger than it actually is!
@@DanieleGiannattasio I'm coming at this from a guitarist perspective and have experience with looping in that realm, but this seems like a much easier way to sync and keep it from becoming a total mess (unless that's what you are going for 🙂) Thanks for the lovely and informative demo!
If you mean issues like clicks at the crossover point, it really depends on what kind of sound you are looping and how precise you are while starting and stopping the recording. I can't remember any major issues to be honest.
Great video! Would love to know the full chain used in the first example; what oscillator/envelope are you using? And what reverb/delay? Sounded really nice
@@DanieleGiannattasio Ha, that's great, I was thinking whilst watching, "If you had one of these and Beads, what else do you need!" Great work, and bravo. I've only just come across 2hp, but I can see you have the answer to many of my eurorack problems (and in only 2hp - naturally).

Yes, it can do that. It can do so many things considering how small it is :)

Sure, looping is a good technique for that purpose!

@@niceheartwhitesuit No problem, actually I'm also a guitar player and got into synths in recent years :)
Thanks for the video. I have one of these modules on the way and can’t wait to get my hands on it.
No problem! It's a very comprehensive looper and super small!
Great video. What is the 2 hP module next to it?
Thanks! That's Intellijel Mult.
Great demo. Can you do reverse and 1/2 speed at the same time in the buffer while still recording the input?
Thanks! Sure:
1:45 reverse playback
1:55 half-speed playback (in reverse)
2:15 new recording at normal speed
@@DanieleGiannattasio Thanks. I thought that is what I heard but thanks for the clarification. I think that alone just sold this.

Thanks. Behringer 110 - 140 (used for VCO, VCF and envelope), Data Bender and Beads.

Great work dude, thxxxx
Can you trig sample "one shot" with my triggers output tr-06?
No, this is a looper and you can use the cv input to start/stop recording. I believe what you are looking for is a sampler.
