No idea wtf happened but it happened to both me and my friend (both having pre ordered on xbox), and we were just happy about it lmao. We got to play the demo, it was fun for the first few hours to play a fallout game together, but we didn't exactly miss it when we were done playing the beta.
They are actually totally worth if you're an audiophile. I use to sell electronics, and got to test them out. They're exquisite. That said, I personally use a crap pair of cheapo headphones cuz I don't have the patience this dude did, and would rather blow my money on the actual games.

Like the second story, I have been swatted myself about 14 times by a group of kids that did the same thing. They got my IP address, and then were able to access my information from there and proceeded to swat me 14 times in almost 2 years time, and the police did nothing after I gave them tons of information like aliases they used online, a few of their real names I found after doing some searching myself, recorded conversations with them, recorded voicemails they left me, etc. then it stopped for a few years, then it started again for about six months. Then they just disappeared.
Yes, they did announce themselves. Neighbors have testified to this. The police were shot at anyway. Transcripts of the court case are available if you're genuinely interested.

And sure, pizza is great, but now some stranger has your info and might start sending you weird stuff. Even worse, they might show up at your house unannounced one day while feeling desperately entitled to you because they sent you something. I’d rather a stranger NOT know where I live.
I've had an online stalker for 10+ years now, thankfully I think I've shaken him off more or less since he has new victims he seems more interested in now. I don’t think it was fair that the guy in story 3 blames himself for the girl getting murdered. Like, he was just enjoying something that he had saved up for for almost a year, how the hell could he have known that a break-in/murder was going to happen? He is not at fault. The murderer is.

I was just watching the last swatting story on the ID channel last week.
Story three, I cant do that, I cant be oblivious of the environment around me, I need to know whats going on around me, I cant play games with the dood behind me. Maybe its a result of living in South Africa with is high crime rate, but I need to know what going on around me, I have headphones, but have them on partially on, like either a bit to the front or higher. I need to hear whats going on.

Why don’t many people in this comment section understand that Story 1 is extremely creepy and, in real life, is very scary. She never gave him her address; he just stalked her info. And sure, pizza is great, but now some stranger has your info and might start sending you weird stuff. Even worse, they might show up at your house unannounced one day while feeling desperately entitled to you because they sent you something. I’d rather a stranger NOT know where I live.
Get a g un and learn to use it. Trained self defense is the best life preserver there is.

Crazy, it's no raw deal to have female players. Most are amazing at games. Have a few female friends and the harassment is real for the ladies.
I've had an online stalker for 10+ years now, thankfully I think I've shaken him off more or less since he has new victims he seems more interested in now. Which is also depressing - the constant name changes means reporting him is so hard. Just make a new account and boom. Its crazy how easy it is for people to stalk someone so hard.
Sad but yeah make the wrong troll mad and they don’t stop, until they find someone else.

Head Phone Gamer - If you'd been out to dinner with your folks or life partner, would you still be the nail in her coffin ? As a person who took on "responsibility" for a death I wasn't responsible for about 20 years ago. I can tell you, you DO NEED to find a therapist RIGHT NOW. Your upstairs neighbor's death is NOT your's to bare. Carrying the burden and guilt of a death is a very tiring unending un-healing horror and scar on your soul no one needs to bare.
