1:01:46 "i got plus 6 stupid" "how'd you get to plus 6 i switched to milotic immediately" my favorite part about these tier lists is when Blunder and CTC start arguing like children at the playground
It's why I run Tera Poison for Ursa Bloodmoon. resists grass, poison, fighting (Removes that weakness it originally had), and fairy, but most importantly, removes toxic spikes later in the game and immune to toxic, allowing it to beat not only physical fighting types, but also beat toxic stall mons.
I be giggling all zestily watching this video cause I already know every time ctc ranks a mon blunder has never even seen he’ll gaslight ctc into thinking he knows what the mon does by agreeing with him instantly
I personally like Rock Ogerpon more than Grass form, mostly cause if you use Grass Ogerpon as a hazards lead, I think Meow does it better. This is between its much higher speed tier, STAB on Knock Off, and the potential to run Protean to have STAB on all of it's move. Grass Ogerpon does have a power advantage (120 vs 110), but it isn't a huge difference while Meow's Flower Trick being an auto crit move means that you have something to reliably stop bulky sweepers to fall back on. At least for Rock Ogerpon, it offers something unique that Meow cannot do: threaten Flying types with its reliable Rock STAB while also having a build-in Focus Sash. Grass Ogerpon cannot touch most Flying types (aka, most of the mons that carry Defog) for the life of it, so Rock Ogerpon being able to actually threaten them with Rock STAB gives it a role in lead slot different than what Meow can do.
The problem with stat spreads like infernape's is that cos of powercreep it went from having exactly enough stats in everything in past gens to having exactly NOT enough stats in everything in the current gen
Sinistcha's not just useful for its sweeping ability, it's also the best spinblocker since Tusk and Treads can't really break you with Strength Sap and Matcha Gatcha recovery, pair it with Ghold for the double Ghost and they never get the hazards off. Still placed pretty fine, but I think it's upper half B Mienshao also gets Ice Spinner now, it's wanted something like that for ages, def upper C with a CC/Ice Spinner/Knock/U-turn type set, not great in OU obviously but can accomplish enough and will prob be fire in UU
The crimes against Trevenant and Dusknoir got me imagining a Ghost type Drain Punch. It's crazy how the one type that constantly mentions draining the life force from living things doesn't actually have a drain move.
I dont think it moves phesandipity, but I always think its funny how everyone tries to run it special/special sweeper. Its a physical attacker that does better with SD than NP, in my experience. Not great, but it does better.
I think the only ranking I feel I would completely disagree with is Mienshao and that is because it now get Ice Spinner. You guys were talking about Ting Lu vs Gliscor and I feel like Mien is that Gliscor-esque mon that thrives in the long game. Good speed tier + regen + knock. It makes Zap and Moltres it's b because it can safely run pads and with Regen, it's like having built in boots. You guys are really underrating it. I feel it's the type of mon you can build a team around and it can easily take over end games with the right support.
You can use roar, haze and yawn on emp to make it a defensive pivot. I run rocks on more consistent mons like landorus and the don bros. Landorus and emp have really good pivot synergy so I usually use them.
Don’t forget the Grass ogerpon gets a speed boost from Tera so it’s not really trailblaze reliant, plus access to low kick for heatran, moon, gambit etc. Lastly when it comes in on webs if Tera it’s at neutral so I guess it’s a fair trade, that one is heat ☘️
I'll watch the vid in a sec. Just commenting to say that my L'Agence merch arrived. Design is fire and it fits me well after washing it. Is it supposed to feel like I'm wearing the weighted clothes Goku fought Raditz in, or did I just get haxed on the base shirt? Whatever. Winter is coming and it'll be nice and warm for that. Thanks for the years of fantastic content.
Yanmega not getting a single decent move this generation gives me depression. Especially since nasty plot and hurricane are tms. It has not received a move-pool buff since gen 4.
I'm watching this video and just thinking "could the agency possibly provide yet again?" How many times can a coincidence occur before it can no longer be a coincidence, but instead a statistical likelihood bordering on a guarantee? The matter requires further investigation
Teropogus is probably going to be the special version of ogerpon but with more stats. Since it’s suspected to be the 3rd legendary type of thing (if not it’s going to literally be the special version of ogerpon. But with all types)
I was testing an Infernape set for a while and it was really good. SD + Iron Fist + Fist Plate with Drain Punch / Mach Punch / Flare Blitz It’s definitely outclassed by Ogerpon but drain punch does 79%ish to tusk after SD. So if you Tera, you can take out the check. But again, it’s outclassed so we won’t see it unless ogerpon gets banned
I tested a banded dogi set for a while and it was pretty good, I posted it on your wall. Also Munki is so slept on. Scarf is great for revenge killing and specs is mad slept on.
Ideas for a vid: most savage comments on pokemon vids. You gather some heinous statements from various comments sections (e.g. yours, joey, etc.) and you rate them
Y’all did crawdaunt dirty. As someone who has beat stall 4 times and lost 0 times with it today, it does a lot better in the matchup than you gave it credit for. It 2hkos things once they’ve been softened to 80%, and removing boots makes stall a whole lot easier to pressure.
You can get Alolan Golem into the game as well, could deliver a potent Galvanized Explosion/Self-Destruct with a life orb if it survives or moves first.
Being hype for DLC because there's going to be new fun mons to play with: I sleep being hype for DLC because there's going to be a new Blunder tier list video: REAL SHIT
The tierlist seems valid to me but here are some thoughts that I wanted to share- I really didn't even know Ogerpon had crit on his Ivy Cudgle. I thought it was a just a 100/100 Earthquake clone. I don't see heightened crit really come into play that much so I didn't personally feel it was cheap, but I can agree it would suck to get crit by him. It is a very strong mon tho. I feel you guys really underestimate Ursuluna bulk. it's so physically bulky that you can run a bit of SpDef to hit around 190 to 200 and you are still bulkier than Slowbro physically and after a Calm Mind bulkier than SpDef Clef. I think a lot of teams can just lose to Moonlight set with this bulk. It's still stupid strong with little to no investment. I agree with it's placement but I think you guys undersold his bulk a bit. Mamo was also heavily underrated by you guys, I felt. Mamo caught two big dub in the fact that it can get the snow defense boost when paired with Slowking G which is a very nice bonus, coupled with Thich Fat. It can just eat the hits of faster guys like nothing and murder them with patented Mamo strength that we always used him for. That's not all because he also got access to Loaded Dice which essentially gives Mamo Banded Icicle Crash levels of power on Icicle Spear and that is with the ability to switch moves. Mamo now directly threatens Corvi. It's a really notable power boost actually. Mamo got better vs both offensive teams and defensive teams. Manaphy is probably going to reveal itself to be broken. Take Heart is a fraud set. Tail Glow is still the king and now you can change typing with Tera to make revenge killing it harder, yeah this mon is super busted. I used a bulky set on Rain with Tera Fairy with Rest, Scald Tail Glow and speed for Tusk and so many teams were legitimately powerless to do anything against it. Sucker Punch bounced off, Grassy Glide bounced off. Draco did nothing Tera or no Tera. Tera Water Gliscor lost. It's truly a beast of a mon. Lastly, Okidogi is my favorite guy out of the trio. I used both choiced and set up sets and both exceeded my expectations. I used Scarf first anf it was actually a pleasantly good mon. It's bulky and typing is so good that booster Valiant and Moth won't be able to kill despite outspeed. It can also directly switch into Ogermon Tera Ivy Cudgle which is an insane display of bulky. It's so strong as well. Gunk Shot 2 shot Zapdos. Tusk took 30% from Close Combat, got Toxic Chainced and got destroyed. Gliscor got Ice Punched. It's was really effective. The set up set was a entirely different beast I had Bulk Up, Drain Punch, Ice Punch and High Horsepower and it was so effective. It's bulk was unreal with investment and Veil. I kid you not, my guy took Zen Headbutt into Tera Zen Headbutt from Fire Ogerpon into Psychic from Gholdengo into Hydro from Gren behind Veil at +3 Bulk Up. Mind you Psychic is QUAD EFFECTIVE on this guy. This guy is mad bulky, Gliscor is set up fodder for him. It's still so strong as well. It still easily 2HKO defensive Gholden with Horsepower at +1. Toxic Chaince is nice still as it can just throw out attacks and get some progress until it is ready to sweep. Also nothing can go bar for bar against this guy in setup because of Toxic Chain which I think is really badass.
The problem with Mien is you die to a single +2 EQ so you can't switch into Glis. Then you need to Tera Ice or be banded to OHKO Glis back since even 252 Adamant is a roll. You would much rather be the Glis player in that situation, or just run something that actually threatens Glis like Water Pon.
I'm using av Snorlax on my ou team and he is a great special wall. Thick fat walls a lot of very strong special attackers. Also learns ice punch and earthquake on a decent attack stat. Can be very punishing on switchins.

Good point meow does seem superior
Old 510 mons have like 70-90 in every stats, while modern 530s have like 10 in a stat they can't attack with and 110 in the rest

It is physically impossible for Clef to be bad
Mr Craw didn’t get his own tier, truly a sad time for the agency 😢
