Honestly, her intentions are irrelevant. The man committed a serious crime, Rhona was the victim of that crime. She deserved to stand up in court and speak on how it's effected her. Gus bought that child into thr world with no intention of letting her bio mother know of her existence. He wanted to move Ivy to France. Marlon's reaction to Rhona's statement just proves that she made the right decision in court. She made it very clear that the revelation that Ivy was biologically her child had affected her family and it has. Had Rhona lied and helped Gus despite her own feelings, it would've made Marlon feel better but she would have been miserable. They aren't on equal footing anymore and that is all Gus' fault.
I feel sorry for Leo because he is upset and most probably confused with Marlon and Rhona arguing with each other. Please get rid of Kerry and Tom Emmerdale.
