I love your modern cards and your choices. That Orange Mays /25 and that iconic photo of Cobb - just fantastic. Congrats on such amazing post playing days cards
Your eye for modern cards is just incredible, buddy! Those team color matching Platinum Anniversary cards are 🔥 Love seeing that Biggio slabbed up on video, looks incredible 😃 Of course you had some insane, off-the-beaten-path 1800s cards included hahaha Awesome submission start to finish, congrats Dan!
So many beautiful cards shown here, Dan! My favorites were the Willie Mays orange refractor, the Mel Ott red lava refractor, and the vintage Johnny Vander Meer. - Take care!
@@OlSargeCollects I've just been busy with other things and life in general. I really have to make an intentional effort to make videos sometimes. Our air conditioning has been messed up lately, so I'm afraid I'll sweat on my cards, too, ha ha! - Thanks, Dan!
@@AutomaticForTheCollector well I’m glad you are doing well. I was also in a rut for about three weeks. I’m still in it but I needed to share that SGC return. Just not really in the mood to do many videos or buy a lot of cards right now.
Beautiful cards Dan! Have to say my fave was the Campy, can't wait to see it next to the 51 Bowman. My choice for the keep v sell - well I "saw" the ink dots immediately but the staining when you mentioned it. But video isn't the same as in hand. Good luck with that! Thanks for sharing!
The card graded a one is actually very nice in hand, nicer than the 1.5. And I can’t wait to pickup a 51 Bowman Campy! It will indeed look good next to the modern card.
Great return, Dan! Believe it or not, my favorite card was the Vander Meer. I love that Reds team issued set but don’t have any yet. Hopefully, I will find one of those cards soon. Thanks for sharing!
Nice to see some cards from your previous videos slabbed up with nice grades. The Gibsons are all real nice. On the 1893 Arbuckles, I’d say it may be easier to sell the 1.5 with some staining over the one with ink. Although I think the ink looks pretty cool on it. Very nice reveal, Dan
Thanks a lot Hugo! I’m leaning towards keeping the 1 Grade and selling the 1.5 and it’s coming down to the staining. Thanks for giving me your input buddy! I asked my wife and she went the opposite way.
Whoa, i didnt know you were an Astros fan! Those Chrome Platinum cards were awesome. The Craig Biggio was amazing. So many great cards that you showed off. Thank for sharing!
That Johnny Vander Meer is awesome! Love it. I've been watching a lot of WW2 docuseries lately. Rewatched Band of Brothers and now watching The Pacific. You seen those? Watched Generation Kill too about the war in Iraq.
@@OlSargeCollects how was Iraq compared to that movie? In the movie it seemed the soldiers were disillusioned w/ being there and command made lots of mistakes.
@@lovetruth1776 every unit and leadership is different. My experience was not so much like the movie. We had some rough days for sure, but we knew our mission and why we were there.
Awesome grades all around and especially loved the vintage. The McIntyre just pops in the tux, beautiful card. The oversized look great too, always love seeing yellow cards in SGC slabs. 99% of the time I'd say keep the 1.5 but, in this case, the 1 has sharper corners and the ink would bug me much less than the staining. My opinion obviously and not my card! Great stuff, Dan!
Hey Ben! Yeah I agree with you here. Typically I would choose the 1.5 because of the higher grade, but in this case the lower graded card has more eye appeal
I LOVE oversized cards in the SGC tux, and those 1882 cards are amazing. Great reveal, and love seeing unique cards like those.
Thanks so much 🫡
Wow, that Josh Gobson really pops. Loved seeing the vintage returns.
Thanks buddy! 🫡

Hey Rob! I may have lucked out on the Vandy card. It is a fantastic team set!
Some nice ones there. Those modern cards are pretty sick. Love that ‘65 topps look Jackie refractor.
Thanks a bunch! I love vintage but some of these modern cards of HOF players can’t be beat
@@OlSargeCollects and a great way to get a player in their collection without breaking the bank.

@@OlSargeCollects Right on! One of those rare situations, indeed
Great cards- love the 19th century ones. Between those two I’d keep the 1 and sell the 1.5. Looks sharper overall.
Hey Mark! Yes, I agree on which card to keep...my wife disagrees tho LOL. Thanks for watching and I'm glad you enjoyed the cards!!
I would keep the 1.
That’s the one I’m keeping! Thanks for your vote and confirmation that I’m picking the right one ☝️
Hello my friend.
Howdy!!
Man not one card to didn’t look great. My favorite might have been the Johnny Vander Meer! Quality stuff!
The Johnny Vander Meer is a great looking card! Glad to have it in the PC
Great returns, are you still in the modern day rabbit hole or have you found your way out
No I haven’t completely found my way out of the modern realm
Thanks for not covering the grades with your thumb .
Haha! Nope I don’t do that. Thanks for watching! 🫡
Sell that one that doesn't look as good to you
So I’ve decided to sell the 1.5
