Yaco476 Yk Yes. Read William Goldsmiths dissertation and study on light tackle tuna release mortality. Single hooks are best for releasing obviously and also trying not to remove the fish from the water.
These are Saltywater Tackle El Maestro popping rods, the 710MH and 77H. For a more budget friendly rod I like the centaur inshore game and jigging world ghost hunter 150. Reels are Shimano Twin Power and Stella 14000.
CFalicon yea I’m looking to buy bulk like 30+rods rn so I’m tryna find something about $240 or lower have u head off the penn carnage 2 jigging rod 80-200? If so do u know if they are any good?
@@CFalicon nice. i need to get some tuna gear. i'd like to start with a 3 rod set up for my 22 CC. i'm thinking little italy is about as far as i want to go with my boat. Id like to get the smallest reels i can get away with. I need to do more research.
@@fishin360 If you don't want to break the bank TLDs are a good option, we still catch plenty of fish on TLD 30s. The smaller bluefin are back inshore currently so on a good weather day you could definitely reach them in your boat.
Awesome video. NJ at it's best!
Really enjoy these videos.. Awesome job.

We’ve been finding them mostly around 70 miles out this season though the fishing has been good as close as two miles lately on bluefin.
