How to Recover Deleted Messages on Facebook Messenger

- If you deleted a message on Facebook Messenger, there are several things you can try to do in order to recover that message.
As long as the message still exists on the Facebook server, you can still get it back.
Option 1: Check your archive and hidden messages. A lot of times, the message is not deleted and you can still find it in the other messenger tabs.
Option 2: Check email notifications. If your notifications are on, Facebook sends you emails when you get Facebook messages. So check the email connected to Facebook to see if you see that notification.
Option 3: Request Facebook to send you your Facebook Data. Facebook keeps everything you've ever done on Facebook and as long as the messages remain on their server, that will be part of the archive data that you can request and download.

This was really helpful. I wanted to see the FB Messenger messages left by a sketchy user whose account has been suspended by FB. Those messages no longer appear in Messenger, but downloading the messages worked perfectly.

I did try the last method and downloaded the range of only 4 days as I only wanted yesterday's message. But when I choose the range (the day I want is between the range I chose) still the message is not in the zip file. Should I wait a couple of days more to retrieve today's message which I did not read and deleted? The first couple of methods did not work.
Obviously, there seem to have no good result showed here. I tried retrieving the "Accidentally Deleted Conversation" but it wasn't included the zip file I had download within the range of that day I had a conversation with that person.

There is now way you can retrive the deleted messages. Not unless you go directly to Mr.zuckerberg and ask to decrpyt your deleted msg to their database. LOL

I don’t think so. This doesn’t work all the time. Some messages could be deleted for good. But this is the only solution to get them
