Ukraine's Kommuna Lux captivated with fiery klezmer melodies spiced with Balkan rhythms and Bessarabian motifs inspired by the band's native Odesa, a war-torn city that shares a border with Romania. The heartfelt and energetic traditional music helps keep hope alive for the people of Ukraine, singer Bagrat Tsurkan said. Audience members rose up spontaneously to dance.
