Building is quite clean, I personally don't like stacking machines, but it does give you much more room to work, and you have a 4x4 I guess, which make life easier. Didn't quite get the smelting part, active vent on with valve open, then degas silver and cobalt with valve open... that wasted some precious volatiles, silver is easy enough but cobalt... Well steel was the goal so I guess it worked
It's 3x3 room size. :P It looks so spacy because of the stacked printers. I'm accepting it on Brutal, but not sure if I will ever use stacking again because of the cables... I'm constantly sliding or jumping on them, not to mention that I can't interact often with printers. Also, I, too, don't generally like hanging parts without support or building partially in walls (ugly clipping). I degassed silver for electrum, not cobalt. I used 7 cobalt + 7 silver to get the steel, which is fair at this stage.
@@rrazmars Good you found out. I will answer anyway for others. Ores are being degassed when you put them in a furnace that is 100 °C or higher. 1 cobalt ore has 1 mol of volatiles, while 1 silver ore has 1 mol of nitrous oxide (you can find this in Stationpedia, F1). By combining both together, you create fuel that ignites at 50 °C.
Tight, i like it. Some commentary would be even better though

@42:52 How is unsmelted cobalt ore and smelted silver ore raising the furnace temperature. Can't find any info on that on the wiki/net
nevermind found the thread on steam community where you linked part-1. TY

Is this also possible without beeing half dead all the time? 😂
Yes. I've started a new series with additional challenges, and one of them is always full HP. But there are only 4 episodes at this moment.
