It’s unfortunate to learn that this guys passed. Recently got into customizing and I’ve been using his videos for help...thanks for allowing your work to live on. You’re immortalized forever
Having chatted a little with him back when he was living a very little I will say he was a awesome guy. I'm sure he would be happy to know people are still watching. I hope his partner is getting any revenue from RUclips. The truth is him and Craig Warrick are why I customize. I fell down the RUclips rabbit hole and he was one of the first figure people I found. If you like marvel legends he has tons of reviews. He and Warrick did a short run podcast.
Oh my gosh, thank you! I looked all over internet/youtube for a decent video that showed a putty clay, customizing, sanding, ect. and yours was the only one that helped me get started with my first custom. Thank you. I'll be subscribing.
I cannot say enough for the value of these videos. I've been the biggest fan of your work since first seeing your mega muscle colossus and haven't stopped being blown away since. now the chance to learn from you is just fantastic. keep this coming, Mr Webb.
I used to watch this dude as a kid up until he passed away and I haven't thought about him since, I came here to have some tips on an upcoming custom i will be doing soon and I found this dudes channel again. Thanks for the tips glen rip.
Hobby Lobby carries different varieties of Milliput for those who are near one in the US. Great tutorial Glenn, can't wait to see the next step! I loved the series Craig did on his gifted Dormammu.
I had trouble finding the putty until recently. I was apprehensive to use the same epoxy putty they had in the plumbing section as that has a completely different texture and consistency, then by happenstance, I find a hobby shop with a very decent model section, and lo and behold: Milliput. P.S. thank you for your videos. I've just recently gotten into figure building and customising and yours are some of the better tips and lessons.
Yes, definitely. It's the 'cadence' of his voice that does it. I'ts irregular with his unpredictable ups and downs. Keeps the listener alert and involved. Very engaging. Love it!
I have done it Glenn. With Aves, Super sculpey and Milliput. Blending the very ends into whatever you are smoothing into needs the fingertip or a damp sponge without the film. Also I prefer the white, finer Milliput, though I am not of fan of the stuff in general! Still, it works for you and you are the one with the thousands of youtube hits. :)
Good to know that stuff work. I have been wanting to get some to do some sculpting but didnt know if it would work or not since I have never really heard anyone using that brand before.
Hi Glen, I love you videos. Since you use milliput can you please tell me the difference between regular and super fine? I want to try to create my own figure and I'm not sure which I should use. Thank you.
Thanks, would you be able to show more videos on how to customize action figures? I want to know how to add long hair or a beard to wrestling figures. Thanks again.
Fantastic AND educational: the only good way to teach, really. Loved the tips, although messing with Mum's makeup brush might get you disinherited pretty fast.
just starting and found this video, was gonna say how helpful it was and then I see comments about how this guy’s passed on 😪 RIP, thanks for the tutorial man
I would place some saran wrap around the figure's head that you want to have the mask on. Then sculpt the mask but before the clay completely cures remove it. I've not tried it but that's what I'd do
So I am a big fan of the TMNT Nick series and I collect their figures and I was hoping on adding some extra articulations, so I was wondering if you could make a video on making your own toy articulations, if you haven't yet.
The figure you used looks like a giant baby, but I've found those to have excellent articulation and some of the parts can be easily removed, which makes them almost universal for those doing a build in the 7 inch scale.
Congrats on getting your hands on a Bundy base figure. I was holding off too long myself on Matty.com for $20 a piece and never pulled the trigger. Now I has to go the e-bay route.
I mean I can see it working for some techniques. But sometimes in sculpting you need to gouge away the clay etc. Anyhow I'm happy using tooth picks and not tools but other might find your suggestion useful. I know some people like to buy expensive tools to feel like a pro and that
Aves is a lot cheaper where I live in Toronto. I wanted to try Miliput so I ordered some online. I have to say I prefer Aves epoxy sculpt, which is a good thing since it's easier and cheaper to get a hold of.
hey glenn, how would i go about molding a head for a ball joint without using a head then sculpting over it? i always have trouble with corresponding a hole inside of the head i sculpted. the bottom part of the head always falls and crumbles afterword. thanks!
Inspired by their videos I decided to make my first custom, but. give me some advice on how to paint the joints without these get dispaint ?!!! Thanks a lot...
Tools don't have to be expensive at all, but as you say, if toothpicks work for you, great! But the metal ball end tools you see advertised on sculpting material sites for silly money can be bought from craft shops for £2. 99 for 3.( sold as crochet tools) Shop around! All the best and I think the Hulk looks great, so forget I ever suggested anything :)
I live in the Philippines and the only way to get apoxie (the famous brand) and all other epoxy sculpting clays is through international shipping. Thus I learned and perfected the use of local airdry clays, and hardware epoxy clays.
I found a Savage Dragon figure that I want to use to make a custom Rick Taylor figure but the abs is too skinny or the rest of the upper body. I want to make the abs bigger, but I'm afraid it'll get in the way of the bending articulation in his abdomen. Do you have any suggestions?
hey Glenn, i'd love to see your take on a razor ramon/scott hall figure and your take on a cm punk "Ring of Honor" period attire. Great job on all of your customs and thanks for advice on customizing i started recently and im not the greatest yet but watching your videos is helping a lot.
It’s unfortunate to learn that this guys passed. Recently got into customizing and I’ve been using his videos for help...thanks for allowing your work to live on. You’re immortalized forever

Man it sucks that he passed, I'm using this video right now to add my first customized sculpt to a figure.
Having chatted a little with him back when he was living a very little I will say he was a awesome guy. I'm sure he would be happy to know people are still watching. Great. I'm not from Scotland originally. Moved here a year ago. I love it though

Glenn Webb I really miss u man
Hi Glen, I love you videos. Since you use milliput can you please tell me the difference between regular and super fine? I want to try to create my own figure and I'm not sure which I should use. Thank you.
I've only ever used the yellow one in this video, which I think is the standard one so I'm not sure how it compares to others in the range
Thanks, would you be able to show more videos on how to customize action figures? I want to know how to add long hair or a beard to wrestling figures. Thanks again.
Glenn what if you use apoxie sculpt
No worries. Might make one with some more complicated sculpting techniques like hair, beards etc
Thanks for the suggestion

RIP, years later, I still use your videos to help ❤
WOW!!! he made it look so easy, and I was so intimidated to try using this product. R.I.P. :(
Thanks for the tutorial Glenn. I've really only ever sculpted with earthen clay before, so it's interesting to see how this is done.
And im from Scotland too. Woo! Awesome videos Glen.
I would only use paints designed for painting model miniatures
Fantastic AND educational: the only good way to teach, really. Loved the tips, although messing with Mum's makeup brush might get you disinherited pretty fast.
Its going to be Mysterio! Really great video G.
This sucks really miss this dude he was great ,he had great talent rip glen .
Thanks! I’m a new doll customizer and didn’t know if milliput would work like the suggested Apoxie Sculpt, or Magic Sculpt, now I know!
Another fine video sir. Thanks for giving back to the community!

I would place some saran wrap around the figure's head that you want to have the mask on. Then sculpt the mask but before the clay completely cures remove it. I've not tried it but that's what I'd do
When he was young, we will all miss you glenn, R.I.P. Glenn webb
Sometimes I do if the figure has that oily feel out of packaging or if the figure has been used and is dirty. Otherwise no.
Thanks man this is definitely gonna come in handy with the custom Jon Moxley (Dean Ambrose) I'm making
Awesome! I just got all warm and fuzzy! Can't wait to try it myself ,thanks!

Nice video, very helpful for a first time user of the clay!
You also have an awesome accent. Keep up the good work!
Hello Glenn see I'm making a custom OVW randy Orton figure how could I sculpt the hair Can u have a specific video dedicated to it?😋thanks

Thanks for the input I honest didn't know about think type of putty. Thanks for the advice.
How would you use milliput over articulation, but keep it at the same time?

After you mix and roll the clay do wait a while or just go ahead and sculpt
Thanks! I've been looking for clay to fix up hair on some long haired wwe figures. Thanks Glenn!
