We went and watched this movie this weekend. It was fantastic, Highly recommend it. So grateful for people like Kevin Sorbos. Praise God praise God, I was a Hindu for 35 years and five years ago I saw Jesus in my dream, I was standing in his present of pure unconditional love I was aware all my sins was forgiven the next morning, I wake up and give my life to Jesus since then I have many dreams and vision pertaining to the end times also the coming of Jesus in the clouds and being rapture , Jesus show me new Jerusalem and said to me tell his people to stand together with Israel Jesus is real and I pray God everyone repent surrender and make Jesus their Lord and savior of their life today, don’t let it be too late.

We can't go to heaven unless we repent of our sin and receive forgivness and salvation offered by heavenly Father thru Jesus. I met Kevin at the Emmy's about 18 years ago. He was super cool. I was a nobody writer who won a writing contest so that's why I was there. I'm glad he broke away from the Hollywood machine. Bravo for him.
He didn’t “break away”. He went nuts after his cancer diagnosis, got brainwashed and started acting like he was better than everyone else. No one wanted to work with him. That’s the reality version anyway.

I am a person who enjoy watching movies, drama and comedies mostly. I was following movies in the box office. But as hollywood movies got worse and came to the point and became disgusting, I decided to quit watching them about 6 yrs ago. I live in Ethiopia bzw. I am so thankful to God that He raised sons and doughters like Kevin Sorbo and others who are working on Christian Movies and give me an opportunity to watch healthy movies again. When I think of American Christians I say to God, please don't leave their country in the hands of the evil.

It was a very enjoyable quality movie with a great message, acting and directing. I left being enlightened, the seats were filled and everyone stayed even to hear Sorbo, and huckabee. Its sad hollywood doesn't want such good programming at the movies but people do!
This was nothing more than a glorified Joel Osteen service with a watered down gospel message.

Glad I saw this as I had no idea this movie was coming out! I'm excited to go see and support this movie. I was blessed to see Kevin Sorbo once having breakfast at a hotel many years ago. I so much wanted to approach him and talk or take a photo but I respected his privacy and wanted him to enjoy his breakfast. Thank God for Kevin who is fighting the Hollywood Godless and their woke agenda.

I was one of those who didn't immediately jump on The Chosen wagon. It took me a year to begin watching, and then I kept watching. BUT - I'm a born-again since 1973 Calvary Costa Mesa, an ex-catholic whose entire family - caths and atheists, none Bible reading - eviscerated and rejected me for leaving the RCR. I was sickened seeing Jonathan who plays Jesus go to the Vatican, something Dallas publicly stated he didn't know Roule was going to do, have an audience with Jorge at the Vatican and have Jorge 'bless' his objects and wrote to Dallas respectfully about it. I didn't expect a response so I wasn't disappointed. But when Jonathan came out hawking his personal rosary beads he's selling AND Dallas stating 'we all worship the same God', that did it. I wrote Dallas again, stating, for your information, we don't all worship the same God. Mormons believe that Jesus and Lucifer are BROTHERS; they proclaim God the Father came down and had intercourse with Mary to conceive Jesus, and that Jesus married Mary Magdalene, and sisters Mary and Martha - as well as other abominations. Look it all up. The Chosen might make some people think about coming to Jesus, but it is blasphemy and reprehensible for Dallas Jenkins to state that 'we all believe in the same God'. And I would never recommend the series to anyone. People are basically lazy and getting lazier into self gratification and always pride. People need to open up God's Word and study it, as well as the Hebrew and Greek words wherever possible, to get the entire full magnificent Truths the Holy Spirit is trying to tell us and STOP relying on any movie or TV show to 'teach' them or 'show' them who our omniscient, omnipotent and omnipresent patient glorious Savior is and what He completely did for us.
Just saw the movie today. Went with a group of friends. We really liked it. I felt it stayed true to the book, other than modern updates, which were needed.

I remember reading these books in 6th grade (the adult series, not the kid series. Our librarians didn't really care what books kids checked out lol). The whole series really moved me towards my journey of faith. I got so excited when I saw the dvd advertised online. I didn't realize that it was for pre order lol. I guess I'll wait till March. Im glad Kevin made this movie, he's a really great actor, and genuine too. I hope everyone else enjoys this film.

I read these books more then 20+ yrs ago, they were the best series i ever read. Books you couldn't put down. The orginal seperate movie of the 70s,left behind lead me to the Lord when i was young.
