I will love to go to a gem show someday, i live in dominican republic ,known as the home land of the beautifull Larimar, also called "Stefilia's Stone " and i am starting to do jewelry and i will love to learn metalsmithing too. I love that place you went there, my heart was so happy seeing those beautiful stone, a lot of great tips that i can use when buying stones . I am a very indecisive person so i get overwhelmed when there is a lot to choose from.

I started learning jewelry a few months ago and I also have a store in Etsy right at the beginning. Awesome video with great tips/advice Basia! I would love to go to a gem show together 😉 That might also be a tip: find someone to go together (someone who is also a jewelrymaker), so you can ask his/her opnion when your in doubt about a stone.

I started checking possible dates during the summer when we could go to Netherlands (and meet! 😊) and maybe there's a chance that there would be a show during that time too? We'll see! xx

Thank you Lina! Happy you've enjoyed it 😀 So I went to "Rock n Gem Show" in Cheltencham, UK twice, and to an International Gem Show in Sosnowiec, Poland (the footage from all is in the this video). In the UK, Rock n Gem Show is great and it's organised throughout the year in many different cities

This gem show I was attneding in the video is in England, but there are several shows in Poland too :) I don't remember which ones are bigger, but they happen throughout the year in several cities, so Gdansk, Warsaw, Cracow all have them. I think there will be some happening in the early fall
I didn't think about Cash. Most excellent point, i'm going to a Gem Show next week. My first. The best deals for sure will be Cash! Shit i was about to Sub but i already am! lol
