1978 Jim Tilmon Special report on Tornadoes in Chicago

Here is a special report on tornadoes from Jim Tilmon. Interesting report with vintage footage of early tornadoes. This was recorded from television on VHS tape from Channel 5 news in Chicago.

My 1st 🌪 memory occurred 5/'76 in Big Rapids,MI. I'll never forget 👀 the sky change colors. From milky white to yellow to grayish-green. Just before the storm hit all the colors seemed to blend together then the sky was black... and the 🌬instantly blew with terrible ferocity!!! Seconds later the sky was awash with brilliant 🌩⚡ heavy 🌧 and hail. The 🌪 touched down, dodged left & crossed the river(Muskegon) demolishing some 🏡 🏠 on the opposite side of the shore.
