A local library is opening a craft room that will include a Glowforge. I had no idea what it could do until I watched your very fun video!!! Thank you!!!
Really enjoyed this video! The Glowforge really takes gift making /gift giving to a whole new level. ..wow. I love all the leather crafts, very professional looking
I so appreciate your materials/supply list in the description, thank you! Do you mind sharing your cut and engrave settings on the leather wristlet? I NEED THEM FOR ME 😂
The proof grade material is definitely easier to work with but is a bit pricier. I would recommend doing your first couple of projects with it to start. This video had a mix of proof grade (walnut plant stands and walnut mini homes) and non- proof grade (cat house, maple mini homes, and baby tags). Thanks!
So great! Do you have more info on how you vented out your window? I have a similar window and am struggling to figure out how I would make it work as a vent.... 🤪
We had a unused dryer vent we tied it to in our old laundry room. But we have also just placed it between the slider and than used the window to hold it into place to. You can use a thin piece of plywood to fill the rest of the gap.
I love all of them they are so unique and personal...I’m so glad I have found your Chanel...I just love your personality and humour ...from your new Canadian subscriber
I would love plans to everything you made! It's all wonderful. The little houses, the cat house, all of them. Ok, I'm sure I could figure out the leather name tags for stockings on my own.... but everything else!
Great video. Super helpful. I actually already bought my GF. Ordered it last week. Can’t wait to get it. I’m looking for ideas. (Even though I already have too many ideas). But I really enjoyed watching you two. And I liked the format. Great video.
you guys are so cute with your presentation! Thanks for sharing......i'm hoping to one day be able to afford to buy one to expand my crafting/wood working hobby/business. Thanks!
Great video, with some inspiring gift ideas - I love the clean and simple designs. Are any of the designs available as SVGs on your website yet? I'd love to have a go at making the wristlets. Thanks!
We created all these designs ourselves using various design programs, if you are interested in any particular design let us know and we could always add it to our shop!
I have access to a Glowforge to try out. I would love to do a map like you guys did, but of a different location. Do you have a website you recommend to find detailed maps like you used? I have searched but haven't had much luck. Thanks!!
I don't remember the exact program we used but if you search "City Map Image Capture" you can find websites that you can download the line files. Then you can take those line files and load them into your dashboard to engrave onto your project.
I have seen people use their Glowforge to etch on mirrors but haven't done personally, if you check Glowforge's "beyond the manual" you can find some cool mirror projects :)
I have a question. I hope you see this. Is there a school anywhere to teach you how to use this. I'm a visual learner and I'd love to have a class on using this
Not that I know of, but honestly haven't looked. Russ and I just dove in and are self/internet taught lol. There are some great videos online to assist with starting out. Sometimes local library or craft spaces have machines you can use - could look into those possibilities? Thanks so much for watching!
Its a design that Russel came up with:) You are welcome to replicate them! We are also hoping to sell them (individual buildings) through our Etsy shop in the New Year.
I had no idea that the Glowforge will trace a piece of art! I thought we had to convert it ourselves then upload it in Glowforge lol how do we do it the way you do?!
There is a "Trace" button in the same menu of "Import Artwork." You just put the sketch/design you want to track in the Glowforge, close the lid, hit trace and the Glowforge dose the rest!!b
If your machine is having problems, you can never get any customer support. No matter what you try. Email leaving messages or even on social media. They just do not respond no matter if you need support for your machine or an order. They just do not respond.

They are really cool machines - thats great that a local library is getting one!
The napkin rings and kids' drawing ornaments were my favs.
Thank you!! I’m hoping to sell those napkin rings soon 🖤 And I’m excited to gift some of the ornaments this Christmas!
The both of you together are a breath of fresh air! Always learning something from your videos.

Those tiny houses! I love them so much!
Aren’t they so cute! I can’t wait to finish the set!
Loved all the banter in this video and the projects of course!!

Personalized wristlets are my favorite!
I honestly think my girls are going to be thrilled when they get those! Good thing they don't watch RUclips yet! lol

We have some more videos in the works! 🖤

Thanks for watching!
That cat house!! I have a Flux Beamo, but eventually I will upgrade to a larger laser.
The Cat house turned out so cool! We Love Our glowforge :)
I so appreciate your materials/supply list in the description, thank you! Do you mind sharing your cut and engrave settings on the leather wristlet? I NEED THEM FOR ME 😂
I don't have the settings close by, but when I get back to our glowforge I can try and check :) Thanks for watching!
Fantastic and creative items! It was neat to see that you are fellow Albertans!
Yes!! Both originally from other provinces and now raising our family here! 🖤
Congratulations! Great product ideas. 💯
You guys are great! Love all the ides?
Glad you like them!
Loved the leather napkin holders! Super cool!
Thank you!! I’m a home decor lover so I love that project too! 🖤
These turned great, I want to try more mini buildings!
I honestly can’t wait to see the full city come together! 😍
Do you need to use a special wood from them and is it expensive for the wood? All the projects are awesome.

@@LindiandRuss Thanks! We have a casement window (the kind that crank?)... it's a pain... I think a dedicated vent would be the way to go. :)
absolutely loved the cat house!!
Thank you!! We love that one too!! And our cats still use it 😂
My favorite was all the ideas!
Thanks, we can't wait to show the kids!
Wow!! They’re all amazing! I think the cat house is so cool 🐈 and those acrylic ornaments are such perfect memorable gifts
As we speak the cat is resting in that house! 🤣 I’m surprised how much he likes it!
I love all of them they are so unique and personal...I’m so glad I have found your Chanel...I just love your personality and humour ...from your new Canadian subscriber
Thank you so much!! I love having more Canadians follow along! ❤️
Great video!
Thank you!! Hopefully sharing some more projects soon! :)

Maybe we’ll get to selling plans one of these days! Good to know people would like them!
Beautiful 🤩

I'm glad you enjoyed the video! We're working on another one like it now, so hopefully we can share some more inspo soon!
ohh now I really want a Gloforge! I don't have a spare few grand lying around, but it's sooooo cool! And your work is soo cool! Nice job!
Thank you!! 🖤 It is a super cool machine! It does SO much!
I've been looking into GlowForge recently. How difficult do you think it would be to cut through 3/8" plywood?
Not sure - the thickest piece I have tried is 1/4 so far and it needed a couple passes to go through:)
you guys are so cute with your presentation! Thanks for sharing......i'm hoping to one day be able to afford to buy one to expand my crafting/wood working hobby/business. Thanks!

Think we got it sorted through email! Enjoy your svgs and good luck with your projects!
@@LindiandRuss thanks again Lindi for all your help!
Was wondering where do you get the plans? do you have to create them yourself? or buy them?
We created all these designs ourselves using various design programs, if you are interested in any particular design let us know and we could always add it to our shop!
I have access to a Glowforge to try out. I would love to do a map like you guys did, but of a different location. Do you have a website you recommend to find detailed maps like you used? I have searched but haven't had much luck. Thanks!!

hey quick question, what design software did you use to make your design?
Hey! We used AutoCAD for everything.
Where do you get your sheets of leather? Loved your gift ideas!
These are great! Do you have a video of how you made the wristlets? They were beautiful!
Thank you! This is the only video we have about it, but we have sold the SVGs to some people who were interested. Feel free to e-mail us about it :)
Where czn I find d the leather key chains you had? I love the rose gold
We don't have the physical products listed anywhere but we have sold cut files. We can also do custom orders via email if interested.
Where do you buy your rose gold leather? 😍
Can you tell me where you found the little houses for the matchbox cars?
We made them! And made the design. If you’re looking to buy them, you can email us :)
Just found you guys! Love all your projects! Can you provide the dimensions of the napkin rings please? Or are you selling the file? Thanks!
If you email us we can sell the svg file for your use, email at lindi@lovecreatecelebrate.com and we can discuss!
Can you use this machinery to personalize mirrors???
I have seen people use their Glowforge to etch on mirrors but haven't done personally, if you check Glowforge's "beyond the manual" you can find some cool mirror projects :)

How do you handle shipping? Fedex pick up. Do you drop off? Do you have a scale and shipping calculator?
Sorry we don't ship, we do sell some digital designs on our etsy shop but no physical products.
The miniature neighborhood is that your design? Can anybody copy them or do we have to pay you to reproduce them?
Its a design that Russel came up with:) You are welcome to replicate them! We are also hoping to sell them (individual buildings) through our Etsy shop in the New Year.

Do you have an SVG for the cathouse??
Not yet! But we’re working on coming up with some SVG files! Just fine tuning the drawings, etc.
how do you make the designs?
We made most of them in a program called AutoCAD we already had. Lots of people sell SVGs, etc. for designs too.
Can I buy the house file? For the hot wheels?
We are planning to start adding these cut files to our Etsy shop soon!
Can you make it for 1/4”? It’s cheap at Home Depot and it sturdier. Most people make it for 1/8”. Boo.
@@MrTommytater we’ll look into making both files for you!
Soooooo, we *aren’t* going to talk about that coffee machine?
It makes mornings happier! 🤣
Grand Prairie Alberta 🤣😂🤣😂🤣
