Like the last live I was talking about I sold a empty PlayStation 3 box on eBay for 188$ he said that return is going to suck in fact I got positive feedback and paid already plus that happened to be my very first completed sale on eBay now I’m up to 15 sales on eBay I just started last week with no stats or feedback
I sell a lot of vintage clothing and shoes hats ect.. but I noticed on Vinted a lot of my more modern stuff sells the fastest it’s deffinatly been a decent source of income nothing compared to mercari or posh but there seems to be users in making sales what I ask for price it what gets put in my bank I never pay shipping there and never had a return or issues getting paid I dunno why I don’t hear more about it
Still using Vinted and making decent sale don’t sleep on it I bet you like it better then Grailed plus it’s easier and a lot of modern sells on there better I tried Grailed and not wasting my time
My guy I really appreciate you making these videos. I sold about 20+ items on grailed like 2 years ago and I have returned and read a lot of negative stuff. Can't believe they got rid of the android app. I'm planning on selling again though. Love from Ireland 🇮🇪
Appreciate that :). Yea I started selling on Grailed after they got rid of it. They have changed some things since I made this video, but essentially it's still the same. Thank you :), your my first international commentor that I know of. 🤝
An issue with Grailed is you don’t know where you’re shipping to until AFTER you’ve made a sale. Depending on where you’re shipping to, the cost can be all over the place. Any tips on how you should set shipping cost to avoid screwing your self when it comes time to ship?
Great info Ed! I am just curious how big their audience is. I’ve only recently heard of grailed because of you 😊 Thanks for breaking it down. Eggs in multiple baskets is always better! 😂
Of course Jenna 😊. I don't think Graileds audience is huge yet but alot of advertising is happening for them and I am getting some good high dollar sales there.
As usual, don't contact outside the platform, remember that when you get an offer on Grailed, that's its including shipping. When you send an offer it's not including shipping. Very easy to spot scammers. For international ones, I don't have advice on that since I don't ship internationally in Grailed.
I will try to make an updated video because alot of things have changed since I made this one. Make sure to subscribe to get notified if and when I make an updated video about Grailed :).
The partner fee is a combination of the shipping and Grailed fees. If you look at the detail breakdown on grailed ,it'll add up to what the partner fees show you on PayPal. I was wondering why it was so high the first time I saw that and that's why
I started using the Vinted selling app it’s like Poshmark with listing super easy and fast and they don’t take out fees I started a couples months ago I know I have a bunch of sales on there but that’s my last backup app but it’s not bad at all everytime I tell ppl about it they dismiss it
@@EdTheResellingRider lol someone said that on Pittsburgh pickers live one night I been selling a lot there and for decent money everyone that buys off me knows I sell it’s a selling site lol why would they ban you that’s the funniest thing I ever heard
@@EdTheResellingRider You are correct. Their policy says "Professional Sellers. Professional Sellers are not authorized to use the Site. Do not use the Site for commercial purposes."
The only thing I can think of is you need to choose either a brand, if it's a pair of Sneakers you have to put in the style code or have to choose a Shipping method. Those are the only reasons I can think of why it might be giving you that message.
Unfortunately I'm not sure. I kno that Grailed does have an IPhone app but since I use Samsung, Grailed doesn't have an app for android. I assume that uploading via the Grailed app is the same process as the other marketplaces so I don't see you having any problems uploading via the app
You don't get any notifications to drop the price and Grailed doesn't drop the price automatically unless you leave the smart pricing on. If you leave smart pricing on then Grailed will drop it little by little until it reaches the minimum that you set.
Hi hi, yes you should own it and have it ready to ship when it sells. As to how to get items to sell, you have to do research and see what is selling. RUclips, recent sold item are a great way to see what's selling. Best bet is do your research and don't fall in love with your inventory. Even if it's a bit under your minimum, accept the offer.
@@EdTheResellingRider Thank you for the answer, but I meant the other way around. If the seller is not accepting my offer (I'm the buyer), will he see my address?
Hey I'm new seller on grailed from india I want to know that how many listings at beginning so that my listing sold within 7 days How many listings on grailed for fast selling?? Please reply
That would ultimately depend on what you sale. You can have 1 thing listed or you can have 100's. It depends on what buyers are looking for and if you price them correctly.
sorry for the long time to reply. That sounds like good things to sell on Grailed. Just make sure to get yourself familiar with Grailed policies and price your items good and you should sell fine.
I sold my first item today and it shipping out tomorrow is my money supposed to be shown on PayPal or does grailed have it first then give it to me as soon I ship it ?
It sounds like Grailed Payments was the method the buyer used, so you'll get paid 3 days after the item has been delivered. It's the same method that poshmark and Mercari use.
If it's coming directly from the PayPal website, then yes. With the new tax law that passed in 2021, they changed the threshold for getting a 1099 at the end of the year. They ask for this now because they have to report to the IRS how much you made via online sales.
@@EdTheResellingRider Got it. I was just wondering why it showed uo now because I sold something on grailed about 3 weeks ago and it did not show up. My money is on hold until i give them a tax Id number. Thanks for the info
hi bro, its my first time using Grailed as a Seller and im a bit lost with the shipping fee thing because when a Buyer offers me lets say $50 and it says "+$20 shipping fee paid by the buyer" does it mean that $20 will add up to the $50 to sum it up to $70 when i accepts his offer or that $20 shipping fee is already included in the $50 offer? thanks!
Grailed has changed it to where now offers exclude shipping. Now the buyer always pays shipping, unless you do free shipping of course. In your case it would be $50+$20 shipping so the buyer would be paying $70. You don't pay the shipping at all.
@gioangustia5746 No, you'll receive the $50 minus fees. The buyer is paying the shipping, but that shipping is going to Grailed because everything uses a grailed label now. It's not like ebay where they give you the whole amount, you'll only receive the amount for the actual item, which is $50, and grailed gives you a prepaid label for you to print.
@@EdTheResellingRider but what if i dont use that grailed label sir? im from the Philippines and my buyer is from USA and i didnt see that grailed label thing sir so basically im the one who's going to ship the item outside grailed and using fedex or dhl
@gioangustia5746 oh I see okay that changes things lol. I'm not too familiar with international since I've never used it but I think I'm your case, you would get the whole amount and then you pay the shipping from there. So, and I'm guessing here, you'll get the $50 + $20 for it to he $70 and from that $70 you'll pay to get a label.
Is he selling or buying? For selling, I just had to enter my account info for buying, we'll kinda need to have a card on file. I wouldn't kno why else Grailed would ask for a debit card. Make sure it's not a scammer message either. Those are common for new sellers
@@EdTheResellingRider I had two items that were rejected during the review process, and as a result, my account was banned. Even after creating a new account, it was immediately banned again.

@alexx I just sold something on Grailed and immediately got thr notifications and payments.
